Kaleb's ears perked up when he heard Keme call out, and he had already closed his book by the time the larger audio approached with Charlamagne in his arms. The mage scrambled off the couch and set his book aside, motioning for Keme to set Charl down on the soft cushions. "I'll do everything I can, don't worry," he said as he prepared his magical energy.

Keme gently lays Charl on the couch, hoping it won't hurt her too much, "Thank you so much Kaleb..." Keme says in a somewhat tired voice, moving to sit back and bend his legs up, putting his arms on his knees, his wounded hands dangling around his thighs.

Charlamagne winced a bit when she was placed on the couch. Her back arched every now and again, as if trying to avoid the couch, but not being able to stay in the position it left her in. Finally, she just gritted her teeth and bared the pain, resting her back fully on the couch. She opened her eyes slightly to see where she was and noticed Kaleb, giving him a faint smile and wave.

Kaleb gave both Keme and Charl a reassuring and lopsided smile, and laid one hand gently on Charlamagne's arm. He let his healing energy flow into the female, leaving a warm and soothing essence as he probed for injury. Once he found the damage and determined it's severity, the magic quickly repaired it. "There, you should feel better now." He told Charl with another lopsided smile. "Just don't sit up right away, the magic can cause some temporary dizziness."

Keme lets out a huge sigh of relief when it seems that Kaleb found the problem and was able to fix it. "Thank you so much Kaleb, I owe you big time..." he says softly. Then he winces and looks down at his hands, seeing the dried and fresh blood there, as well as the splinters, some sticking out. He gets up slowly and heads into the kitchen to try and clean his hands up.

Charlamagne watched Kaleb silently as he rested his hand on her arm. She wasn't sure what he was doing, but she wouldn't question it, especially at the onset of the pain starting to melt away. After a few moments, the pain completely disappeared and she blinked, but quickly smiled to him. "Thank you Kaleb." She stated softly. Slowly, she sat up and looked to Keme. Just as she was about to thank him as well, he walked away, she blinking slightly. She would have followed after, but she figured that it wouldn't be too wise to do so as of yet.

Kaleb smiled modestly at the thanks he received, but when Keme walked away his smile fell slightly. "Charl, you'll sit until you're sure you're not dizzy?" he asked quickly, giving her a concerned glance before turning to quickly follow Keme.
"Ah, Keme?" He said, trying to get the other's attention as he caught up. "Did you want me to -" The mage glanced down at Keme's hand, and seeing the blood he felt a bit dizzy himself. He clasped one paw over his eyes, hoping his lightheadedness would go away. "Should I-" He was interrupted again as he tripped over a chair with a slight yelp.

Keme was at the sink and getting ready to wash his hands off when Kaleb entered. He blinks in surprise when the small guy suddenly looks faint and covers his eyes and he looks down at his hands, "Sorry Kaleb, I was just getting ready to wash my hands off!" he says. He turns back to the sink and turns it on, putting his palms under the water. He hisses in pain as sharp needles shot up his arms, but at least the blood was washing away.

The small female nodded at the mage when he asked her to sit until she didn't feel so lightheaded. She had no qualms about sitting still as she looked to where the two males walked off to. She sighed and thought back to the fall, and though it wasn't nearly as important, thought of the harp and leaving it behind. I hope Charlie won't mind me losing the harp... She thought, feeling silly about thinking about it, but it just bothered her a bit. Perhaps she should go back and look for it?
Slowly the dizziness faded and she slipped off the couch. Once she was on her feet, she stood there making sure it was completely gone before trying to step anywhere. In a few moments, she took a few steps to get a better view of the others in the kitchen. Charl pondered about going in there, but she didn't want to burden Keme even more than she already did. With that, she gingerly began to step toward the door of the shop in hopes to retrieve the instrument.

Kaleb wore a sheepish expression through his slight blush, as he tried not to glance at the blood being washed down the sink. "I-I think it would have hurt less if I had healed it first." He said rather timidly.

Keme shakes his head as he turns the water off and looks at his hands. It looked like the bleeding and stopped or slowed down and most of the splinters had already fallen off due to the water pressure. But some where embedded pretty deep into his hands and he turns back to Kaleb, holding them out, "It's ok, I really couldn't stand the sight myself."

Charlamagne continued to the door, several things running through her mind. It was when she reached the door of the shop where she stopped. Yeah, it was still open from when Keme had entered, but that wasn't what was stopping her. What if she left and Kaleb and Keme got mad at her? It was at that thought, she looked back towards the kitchen before another thought popped into mind. What if Charlie stopped being her friend or stop teaching her how to play the harp for losing it? With that, she started to look between outside and the kitchen. Utterly confused and a bit tired, she slumped onto her knees and whimpered lightly.

Kaleb offered a lopsided smile before glancing down at Keme's hands, they did look better with most of the blood washed away. The traces of blood that lingered around the splinters fell within Kaleb's tolerance range, in that he could handle it if he didn't look at it too much.
The mage reached out to steady Keme's hand, so he could direct a very small and precise spell to carefully extract the remaining splinters. Once they had all been magically deposited in the trash bin, he used a healing spell to fix the small cuts and punctures.
That was when he glanced back towards the couch, and noticed Charlamagne sitting near the door rather than on the cushions where she had been earlier.

Keme sighs a little as he can feel the splinters leave his hands and the pain starts to fade away, "Thank you Kaleb, I really do owe you big time..." he says, smiling down at the young Audio, glad he was his friend. He glances out to the couch as well and doesn't see Charl and he panics a little, rushing past Kaleb to see if he can find her, "Charl?!"
Spotting her at the door, he rushes to her and kneels in front of her and wraps his arms around her, "Charl, I was so worried!! Are you ok, did you get hurt somewhere else?!" he asks frantically.

Charlamagne tucked her tail between her legs, holding it close to her. As she continued to ponder what to do, her ears flickered at the sound of her name being called out. Turning to face where it was coming from, she noticed Keme coming to her. She was just about to say something when he knelt down and wrapped his arms around her, her cheeks flushing. At his concern of hurting herself again, she shook her head and replied softly. "No... I'm not hurt. I... I just wanted to go back and get Charlie's harp. But then I thought that you and Kaleb would get mad at me if I did." She admitted, looking away from him.
