catsoup yeah, but it is worth reading. sweatdrop well I thought I had to read some exerpts from it for school and found that a utopian society where everyone is equal is a great idea and something to be desired. I, and I am not the first, believe that this is either a) an idealistic view of the world that is often ripped to shreads once implemented or b) a vision of the world made by pragmatic leaders to gain power. Either way, communism (and marxism for that matter) are flawed by the simple quirks of human nature: we always want to be better than others. (correct me if i'm wrong, I'm willing to learn more about anything (whether or not i agree with it))

Borrowed the disc from a friend for a couple weeks. Never could finish it. Or really even get all that far. It was fun, though, for a while. -V

Though I do feel like I'm the only person who feels that FF7 is vastly overrated. Sure it was revolutionary, but so was pong, but it doesn't mean that pong(being practically the first revolutionary game) is the best game ever. *feels like he'll get flamed for saying that* And everybody knows that cat broth makes the best soup base. biggrin

cause you cant touch pong. its boring as it is.
and yeah. ff7 was over hyped. I mean, it was fun for a little while, but the ending sucked the big suck. (as did most of the story)
anyway, more suggestions....

FF7, IMHO, was a excellent game (I reserve the title "Greatest Game of All Time" for when I get a chance to play every video game once time itself ceases to exist). But hey, your opinion is yours. And I did like FFT, I just never had enough time to play it. (Oh, and SkyRender (a Q&F regular seems to be an FFT fan))

FF7 generally blew. it was a good effort by square, but the retarded story just dragged on and on and on.... to crappy a** ending sweatdrop my fav. console rpg of all time would have to be tales of destiny for the psx (screens here). it had a beefy plot, awesome graphics, and pretty much was addictive. the battle system was pretty cool too, check the screens for an idea.

I don't think I have played any FF titles since good ole NES was still the king (Note: The NES was the ONE and ONLY console I have ever owned).
Edit: Pong still rules over every other game created, ever. I have made more pong clones than I care to remember (I have made one for every new language or graphics library I care to learn. Its like the "Hello, World!" program for me. I have gotten really good at pong logic btw).
