She smiled still trudging through the snow. Though it didn’t seem like it had been long at all the snow was already almost up to the 15hh mares knees. It certainly got thicker and deeper the further they went. That was mainly because she didn’t realize it but they seemed to be heading in the direction of the mountains.
The blanket of snow kept falling and the snow flakes to came down in larger clumps, making it next to impossible to see strait ahead. You could still make it out but it was hard. At this moment Spice felt like it was almost mystical outside. She herself preferred when the snow fell like this, it was beautiful and memorizing to her.

"I see, you are probably very used to all of this then." He said and smiled as he nodded his head. "Wow, this stuff certainly comes down fast!" Shilah said and laughed lightly. "I wonder how much snow there will be when it is done."
He looked around at everything curiously. It was like a winter wonderland, the snow clung to the trees and it covered almost everything. It would be difficult to tell anything apart since they were all now cover with the fluffy white snow.

Spice gave a shake and the snow flittered off of her. Delicately it fell to the ground and spice laughed. She looked over to Shilah and the one thing that stuck out in the midst of all the white was his eyes. They were warm and kind but very bright. They Distracted away from the white and Spice smiled.
" Your eyes are like a fire. Even just looking at them i feel warm despite the cold."

Shilah laughed lightly and smiled. "Well, then I guess I better be careful where I point them, I wouldn't want the fresh snow to melt." He said and laughed again. Shilah looked up at the snow falling down and continued smiling.
He looked over at Spice again. "And you better be careful where you point that smile of yours. I know it certainly make me warm and happy inside." He said and laughed again lightly as he shook his mane softly and watched the snow fall down. He could not help but be happy if the people around him were happy.

Spice laughed at Shilahs response. He was just so innocent and it made spice happy to know that there where still some that where as he was. It just meant the world was not completely corrupted by the evils in it.
" But maybe that’s the effect I’m going for"
She winked and nudged him with the tip oh her nose on his neck lightly. As they walked the snow started to slow down a bit, but still fell in heavy clumps which was perfect in spices mind. If it was going to snow it mine as well snow nicely.

Shilah smiled at her and continued to walk through the snow happily. He looked around at the the snow everywhere then looked at Spice. "I can see why you love it, it seems so magical out." He said and nodded his head and smiled. It did seem magical in his mind atleast.
As they walked he saw that infront of them was the lake, or what used to be the lake at least. It now seemed to be covered with a glassy solid sheet of ice.

Smiling Spice looked over to Shilah,
" Indeed it does, doesn't it?"
She picked up her pace into a trot, deciding she felt like moving at a quicker pass out of fun. After all it was fun to run in this type of powdery snow. She laughed a bit as she picked up speed, her mane floating back and tail whisking behind her.

Shilah nodded his head smiled as he picked up speed after Spice did following behind her until he was next to her. His feathers blew in the wind as the snow continued to fall and sprinkled his mane with white which contrasted with the darkness of his mane.
He laughed and trotted beside her. He tried to think of something to say but he could not think of anything. "So Spice, tell me more about yourself." He said and laughed lightly. "If you want to that is." He added and looked over at her and smiled.

She giggled as she trotted, yes this is just what she needed. She looked over with a smile and spoke as she kept her pace up.
" Well i was kicked out of my last home and I haven’t seen my family since, god knows how long ago that was god knows how long ago. I now live in a teepee with a two legged and my adopted dad, King and his mate, Tetyawna. I have no mate and no children. Now tell me more about yourself Shilah, if it's not minded of course."

"I see." Shilah nodded his head as he continued to trot along side her. "Let's see, what is there to say about me.." He said and thought for a minute as he trotted. "Well, I live in a teepee with my two-legger Kaya and my father." He said and nodded his head. "I don't really see my mother or sister much at all even though they live in my teepee as well since they and their two legger haven't been there for quite a long time. The last time I saw them I was really young."
"You see, my mom and dad were never a couple, but that is a whole different story." He said and sighed lightly before laughing softly. "And I too do not have a mate or children, but you already know that." He said and smiled as he laughed again still trotting through the snow.

Spice listened with a smile. His relationship with his parents didn’t sound to god, especially with his mother as he hadn’t really seen her for a while. But Spice was understanding as she had the same type of predicament, in not seeing her real family for a while now, about 2 years. Laughing lightly the smile kept on her face and she slowed down a bit.
" Well if your family life wasn’t that good, I'm sure when you make a family of your own it will be the best thing that could happen to you."

"Yeah, I hope so." He said and nodded his head and smiled at her. He looked up at the sky and saw it was getting rather dark and it was snow harder. He looked back at her. "Well, I think I best be off and so should you. I wouldn't want you to get stranded in the snow Spice." He said and laughed lightly as he smiled her again. "I hope to see you again friend, good bye." He said still smiling as he trotted off in the direction of his home.
