The woman who had her hands full with the wolf managed to stay out of the way of the gnashing jaws and had successfully managed to get a good grip around the wolf’s neck. Then, with as it struggled with little success to get free, there was loud snap as the woman twisted the creature’s neck at an odd angle, not quite breaking the neck the way she wanted to. The beast slumped forward, paralyzed but not dead yet. The woman got to her feet and staggered away from the monster to glance at the girl watching a short distance away. “Are you alright?” She turned to the woman with the gun and sighed, the annoyed look back in her eyes. “If you wish to rid the city of another murderer, then put a bullet through its brain. I can smell the silver on you.” She brushed the dirt from the front and sleeves of her trench coat and walked past the younger girl without another word.

“Silver isn’t cheap you know.” she called out after her, secretly grateful she didn’t have to directly deal with the monster herself. Ezra sighed and cocked the gun, and unloaded a single silver bullet into the werewolf’s heart. She winced as the creature let out a final cry that was quickly silenced. It had been years, and killing still didn’t come easy to her, and she hoped it never would.

She nodded slowly as she glanced at the werewolf that was quickly morphing back in to a human. A numb expression quickly covering her face as she watched the woman start to leave, “I’m fine. Thank you for helping.” Her voice wavered slightly as she looked back at the other girl, walking towards the body of the werewolf. “Maybe I shouldn’t have run away today.” Her voice calmed down slightly as she just nudged the body.

She stopped a few yards away and fished in her pockets for a cigarette. She slipped one between her lips and proceeded to light it with her Zippo. She took a moment to take a puff before glancing over her shoulder. “I’m not the bad guy.” She murmured softly before vanishing into the shadows and out of sight.

A college age young man stood against a busted street lamp and looked up at the sky. He wasn't sure why he was standing under this particular streetlight, save that it gave a better view of the sky. He'd decided to go for a walk and had endd up here.
Loose cargos shifted in a light breeze that ruffled an unruly mop pf blande hair as well. He swiped a stray lock from his eyes and jammed his hands in his pockets.
"WHY am I out here...." He sniffed the air and blinked. Well THAT'S int'restin'...

She paused in the shadows of an abandoned building and put her cigarette out by scraping it against the aged brickwork. She sighed and glanced down at her hand where the faint lines of blood were still seeping out of the claw marks she got from the wolf. She pulled the sleeve of her coat back and watched the blood dry up and sink back into her skin, the wounds slowly closing up and fading. She stared at her arm for a few moments and slid her sleeves back in place and continued on her way, heading back towards the cathedral.

She put the gun away and thrust her hands into her pockets as she approached the younger girl. "You okay?"

She looked blankly at the woman for a moment before giving a small nod. "Oh yeah, sure.. a bit shaken up that I just almost got killed by what I thought was a fictional creature, sure." She mumbled as she spoke, leaning back against the building for support as she heaved a sigh, closing her eyes partly. "God, I don't want to go home now.." Her hands drifted to the small of her back as she rubbed the dark bruise left by the gun.

"Heh." she snorted quietly. "If I were in your shoes kid, I'd have gone running and hid under the bed. Though if werewolves are real, hey, the boogie man or the monster under the bet might be real too, you never know."

"I think I rather face down werewolves than go back home." She smirked slightly, a dark tone to her voice. "The boogieman and monsters can eat them for all I care." She glanced down the street, just watching to see who walked by, a distant look growing on her face.

That smirk was still on her lips, "That's one way to put it." Her eyes fell on the one standing in the lamplight, a brow raised. "Well, that's interesting.. I don't remember seeing him before."

She eyed the man warily and shrugged. "Humans are very loud, and they don't notice much. To them, most members of other races can just appear."

She shot the woman a rather angry look before turning, leaving her off alone as she started to walk the streets. "He really wasn't there before." She muttered under her breath.
