true, but the whole "nobody will touch my blood" thing was given up in order to save her friend. i think it was one of those if you take my blood, which i know you want to do then it won't bother you as much as having to go find someone else to take blood from.

'Kay, three things.
First, the next book is called the Outlaw Demon Wails, and according to Amazon, it comes out on February 26th.
She also has an anthology coming out called Holidays Are Hell. Lynsay Sands, Vicki Pettersson, and Marjorie Liu are the other authors listed.
Third, I finished re-reading A Fistful of Charms. Still don't like it. It doesn't bug me as much as before, but it's still entirely going against how Rachel was in the other three books. I could live with the one time, but the fact that Rachel wants to have a blood balance with Ivy? Nuh-uh.

well, it was either try with Ivy and tr to make it work or do it with Kist before he died and have Ivy kill him. Either way it has to be like an addict thing.

Has anyone read the new short. It has Kisten in it. It still bugs me that she killed him off. I wonder if they find out who did it in the new one.

Oh? What short? The one in Holidays Are Hell? I'm gonna get that one... sometime. In the next three weeks or so, if the bookstore has it.
For A Few Demons More is out in papaerback, though, so I should be able to get that at the same time I get Holidays Are Hell. Hopefully.
WAIT! She kills Kisten?! O.O But I liked him!

I only found out it was in paperback like... three weeks ago. And I haven't been able to get to the bookstore, sadly. Finals and all that. I'm on break starting tomorrow, so I'll have time now. Plus I'll be at home, where I know how to get to the bookstore.
Meh. I've had worse spoilers. I think. At the very least, I've had spoilers that I cared more about.

That's a definite plus. I like when there's an excerpt in the back of a book. Gives me something to look forward to.

Okay, finally getting around to posting what I thought of the book. I actually finished it last week sometime.
I liked it a lot better than the last one, but I don't think the series will ever have the same appeal to it for me as it did during the first three books. And can't Rachel keep a boyfriend? Man. I love the interactions between Rachel and Trent, still. And I like Ceri more with each book she's in. So, while it didn't motivate me to buy the next book in hardcovere, I'll still read it eventually.

I was reading your thread and i was interrested in the books, so I looked them up to see if I could get them in my language. I looked them up and discovered I actually picked it up three days ago in a second hand shop. whee
I didn't remember the name, but the small part I have already read was good, and really funny. unfortunally there are only two books of her out in my language and there rare. It's really hard to find both the english versions as the dutch ones. However what I wanted ask was about the other series. Maybe those are more common.
the english title of the book I found was Dead witch walking
