Special traits: Gryphoenii
Plumage: Yellow 1st-Gen standard Gryphoenii. His coat is golden yellow with faint orange on his flight feathers and tailfeathers, as well as his tail-tuft.
Personality: Rush is wise and altruistic; he is full of advice and perfectly willing to give it when asked. While slightly scatterbrained at times, he has a good heart and is quite happy to help out when he is needed. His instinct also leans heavily toward his feline side, and enjoys the prowl jsut as muchas flying. For some reason, he seems to have an aura of good luck about him; fortune seems to favour those around this Gryphoenii.
Activities of choice: Rush always enjoys a good chat. Socializing is one of the things he loves most to do, along with thermal-gliding in clear skies, above the clouds. He finds the view from above billowing clouds to be an inspiring sight, and often wonders if anyone else appreciates the blessing of flight as he does. Similarly, he also loves to stalk on all fours on the ground, making good use of his feline instinct and reflexes in the hunt. Rush is one of the few inhabitants of this nest that prefers a carnivorous diet.
On love and relationships: While companionship is something that Rush values greatly, he is incredibly shy when it comes to romantic matters. He would prefer to remain friends with someone, rather than risking friendship if he is mistaken. It may take him quite some time to pluck up the courage to confess affection, but once it is out of his system he will devote himself wholeheartedly to his partner. He does not feel it appropriate to mate with a Phoenii, however.

Special traits: Gryphoenii
Plumage: Red 1st-Gen standard Gryphoenii. Her entire body is covered in rich red, down to her beak and even her eyes. Her primaries are a paler, slightly dulled shade.
Personality: Despite her name, Rave is not one to party. While she does enjoy a social atmosphere, she is not one to participate actively in it. She is solitary, and likes to watch others interact rather than joining in. This does not mean that she is shy, however; indeed, she is open to conversation. She simply does not crave it.
Activities of choice: Being socially dormant, Rave most enjoys watching others enjoy themselves. She is somewhat of an empath and likes to leech off of the happy atmosphere. When she senses a negative atmosphere developing, she will avoid that region; she is not one to interfere with others' business, and she much prefers the positive. When there is no social gathering to observe, she enjoys reading in the shade of trees, and watching the clouds go by. If it's raining, she will do her reading in the nest, where there's cover, and watch the rain come down. She adores the sight and scent of rain, but she also hates getting soaked.
On love and relationships: Rave hates arrogance. She believes that it leads to negativity, and that repels her quite quickly. Instead, she would prefer a happy partner, one with similar interests. Someone to read with or simply to curl up under the trees. You could call her a bit of a romantic, but she is quick to deny such a statement. She seeks peace and happiness, but not absolute devotion. She believes that it is wrong to hold someone down and demand their complete attention, so she holds no qualms with sharing her mate with another.

Origin of name: Latin (green)
Special traits: Gryphoenii
Plumage: Green 1st-Gen Gryphoenii. He is covered with a well-kempt leaf-green coat. His primaries, tailfeathers and tail-tuft are a deeper shade than the rest of his body.
Personality: Childish and full of energy, Viridis cares little for what others may think of him. He never learned much from Arysil, and holds little interest in keeping himself prim and proper. He keeps his coat clean and relatively neat for the sake of comfort, but not much more. Like Raven, he has a rather scruffy appearance; as long as he is comfortable and clean(ish), he does not care to groom himself. Very easygoing and relaxed, but quick to jump into an activity that he fancies. He is also rather bad with names.
Activities of choice: To Viridis, almost everything is a game. He loves to chase small animals and scare them, but he tries not to harm them. Fishing is another favourite pastime. He likes to fish the way cats do, sitting still and patient by the water's edge to swat his prey from the water as they come within reach. His diet consists mostly of fish, and he does not care to eat any other type of meat. He also has a sweet tooth, and rather enjoys pastries.
On love and relationships: While he is a childish Phoenii, he does not seek a partner just like him. He prefers female Gryphoenii that are mature and level-headed, but with enough of a childish side that they will laugh with him and occasionally join his random chases. Bonus points if she also likes fish; he will gladly share his catch with someone he cares about.

Origin of name: The swan constellation, Cygnus
Special traits: None
Plumage: Similar to that of a swan. His plumage is almost entirely white, except the fading to gray at his wingtips, and the pale tan of his head. His beak is orange with a touch of black, and his feet are dark gray.
Personality: Cygnus is a traditionalist all through. Intelligent, graceful, and trained to even Arysil's idea of behavioural perfection, he holds himself with the air of a charismatic gentleman. He has chosen no flair or fireworks to call his own; his style is simple, elegant, and classy, though he is quite vain. He may occasionally come off as snobbish and arrogant if angered, but he has enough self-control to ensure that he never flies into a screaming rage.
Activities of choice: He does not enjoy flying as much as the majority of the nest. He is one of the few Phoenii here that does not often indulge in fancy flying. He flies well enough, but when it comes to aerobatics he is a nightmare to behold. Cygnus most enjoys placing himself in conspicuous places to catch the notice of pretty females, then attempting to use his charisma to woo them. He puts much of his time into ensuring that his plumage lies perfectly; he will stop everything (except flying) to fix a feather that has fallen out of place. At night, he is often found immersed in his hobby: stargazing. He watches the stars and uses them in an attempt to scry and predict the future, much like old starseers onice did; Arysil is better at predicting the future than he is (because she is a Seer), but this doesn't stop him from trying.
On love and relationships: Cygnus is shallow when it comes to everything but his hobby. He will strut his stuff for any attractive female that catches his fancy, but he will not enter a relationship with anyone who does not share his passion for stargazing and astrology. As a result, he will most likely begin to discuss the stars with a female that he meets. If she shows little interest in the subject, he will not bother to pursue her.

Plumage: Peregrine falcon; she is mostly brown and white, with spotting on her leg feathers and chest.
Personality: Zhaneel is a very girlish and timid Phoenii. While shy ahd sensitive, she also posesses a strong maternal instinct and a powerful sense of duty and devotion. She will do anything to protect those she loves, even risk her life if need be. She is well suited for motherhood, and will keep a watchful eye on younglings in her vicinity. She makes a playful but firm caretaker for chicks.
Activities of choice: Zhaneel eavesdrops impulsively, especially if she catches mention of someone she cares about. She isn't nearly as bold as Skandranon, and tends to listen in quietly. She enjoys assisting with the rearing of chicks in the nest, and waits faithfully for her chance to start a family of her own. If she is spotted outside the nest, she is often either flying obstacle courses of her own design or watching the clouds go by. She also quite enjoys fishing, snatching her prey out of the water much like an osprey. Fish are her favourite food, after all; sweet, fresh fish from the lagoon are always a treat for her.
On love and relationships: Her combination of an attractive plumage coupled with a motherly personality makes Zhaneel a prime candidate for breeding. However, she also posesses very low self-esteem and is therefore very withdrawn in the presence of hormonal males. She has eyes only for Skandranon, whose strength of spirit and sense of devotion are traits for which she is incredibly thankful.

Plumage: Bleach-white with black markings, resembling a white-stage gyrfalcon in terms of markings. Occasionally spotted with his coat dyed entirely black. His eyes are sky blue, though originally they were gold.
Personality: Skan is full of arrogance and snark. While he is prideful and sarcastic in any non-battle situation, his pride is well-earned; do not be deceived. If he wishes to add something to a conversation, he will not wait politely on the side for a chance to speak; he will barge right in and speak his mind. He may be loud and quite rude at times, but he does still possess a sense of tact. He will be polite and observe normal societal protocols if he feels it necessary to get what he wants.
Activities of choice: His cures for boredom are sleeping, reading, and harrassing his friends. In that order. But that's only for boredom. Otherwise, he is often found spending time with Zhaneel, trying to run through her obstacle courses with her or simply cuddling or sunning. Otherwise, he is often in the sky, practicing his aerial maneuvering and testing his reflexes. After all, you never know when something will go down. When it does, he'll be ready for it. He will also occasionally get his coat dyed black, for the sake of nighttime drills. He is also one of the few inhabitants of this nest that enjoys a primarily carnivorous diet; he often takes down large game for his consumption. He cares little for berries and vegetation; he likes red, still-bleeding meat.
On love and relationships: Skan is a pimp, though somewhat by accident. He does not make much of an effort to impress females, but some seem attracted to him for some reason. He will sometimes string them along, but he does not go into anything particularly serious. The love of his life is none other than Zhaneel, and he knows it. He will go to lengths to protect her and all they hold dear.
