He didn't move a muscle as she came steppign but up to him and starign at him adn he stared right back at her. " yes i asumed you would have attepted to hurt me if you hadn't known i was mereign toyign with you." oh he could tell she was in no way intimidated by him adn rightfuly so since he gave her no reason to be. " your correct i wouldn't stoop to that, i got moresense than to do somethign like that. but since you don't get what i mean by what i said i'll tell you. i can be foe or an aquantance and at the blink of an eye wouldn't even think twice of killing you if it suited my need or even becoming your enemy. i trust no one and will do anythign if it suits my need."

If Entreri was expecting her to freak out or back down at that little statement, he was to be sadly disappointed. Instead of reacting either of those ways, Ladius' expression merely quirked into a amused smile. "You say it like I'm supposed to be shocked, Artemis Entreri. How could I be, when anyone worth their salt out here knows how unpredicatble life is? But I'm not going to pussyfoot around, hoping to avoid notice or what have you just on the chance things could turn out badly. Anyone is capable of killing someone else, given the opportunity. And if I choose to do things that others deem foolish, so be it."
The look on her face was proud, proud and a little bit rebellious; but there was no mistaking that she believed in what she was saying. "Otherwise, do you think I would have been in a fight with a kalona stallion? Hardly. I'll take my laughs and kicks where I can, because life is too short to waste on panicking."

Seems she had more guts than Entreri gave her credit for with that responce she gave him and even gave an amused smile at that. " seems you really are diferent from those other idiodic mares running about here. and yes again your correct that anyone capable of killing or can stumach it can kill with the right opportunity if they are smart enough." he then moved past her to give himself room, he really hated others getign close up unless it was a fight. " you really can be foolish if you really did fight a kalona stallion and truth be told i bet your lucky you managed to ecsape with the injuries you did get. and don't try to say i'm wrong, i was been among kalona's before." and the reason he had been was he searched for the kalona known as Drizzt but wouldn't tell Ladius that.

Getting up close was a tried and true intimidation tactic, but it also allowed Ladius to prove to the numerous stallions she'd crossed paths with that she wasn't a timid little thing as they seemed to think. Entreri's reaction was typical, though he wasn't radiating discomfort like most others did. Not that she'd expected that, but still.
She didn't even turn to face him, merely flicked an ear in a bored fashion as she replied. "Meh, he started it; and while some might argue fighting a kalona is suicidal, trying to beg mercy from one is even more idiotic, and I figured I might as well take as many chunks of him with me as a could. Wasn't counting on him being blinded by rage, though, so I'd be the first to say I lucked out." And no flase pride would make her say anything else; she knew she ought to be dead, after all. "And as for that first comment...you ought to have realized a long time ago I'm not like other mares. If I didn't like you, I'd have kicked your a** for even insinuating I was like them, but there you go."

Entreri was not intimudated at all by Ladius and wasn't about to be. after hearing what she said, he turned to face her but she wasn't turned. he slowly and carefuly walked up beside her and responded. " most would say it wise to have me on good terms rather than have as an enemy because i will not stop til i have killed my enemy. so if you had even attempted to kick my a** for whatever i say, well you problable wouldn't be standing. and i agree beging for mercy is one a idiot would do and to me is out of the question to do. you where smart to fight since you where able to manage to live because of that, since a kalona wouldn't care about someone begging for mercy."

"Defensive much?" Ladus was amused, and she didn't bother to try and hide it. He was interesting, this stallion, that much was clear. But trying to figure him out...well actually, in some senses he was surprisingly easy to read.
"Conjecture and hypotethical situations are fun, aren't they? I think that it's safe to say that we both would have taken certain actions in the face of certain behaviors. However..." Here she paused; a significant pause, given the topic of conversation. "Neither one of us has done any of these things, and why not? There's been no reason, as neither of us has been provoked. Kinda significant, wouldn't you say?"

Entreri leaped infront of her from his place and looked her in the face. " Conjecture and Hypotethical situatiosn can be fun but can hold no meaning but at the topic at hand i see them as being more use. and surely since we are both fighters, we would have logicaly taken certain actions in certain situations yes." he shrugged a bit and noticed her pause and gave a sly smirk. " and correct nether of us have provoked the other and so thats is why we have yet to get into a fight and i truely hate unneeded fights. significant maybe but in what way would you say Ladius?"

At that, the mare simply smiled once again, her faintly amused smirk. "Significant, in that each of us knew where to back down."
Having said that, the mare suddenly turned and started off in the direction she'd come. It was time she found Liz, after all. "Until next time, Artemis Entreri." And with that, she was gone.

Entreri shook his head. " maybe." he then nodded to her and let her go off. " untill next time indeed." turning around, he went on his own way as he took to the skys.
