Irix fidgited. He played with his hands behind his back nervously, and watched Andel with mild curiosity, and a little anguish. He was still adament about teh other hating him. oh boy. "...Um.." what to do? nothing really. So he pointed off to his corner of the room. "Im going over here now. uh.. poke me if you need.. anything?" and he did just that. flopped onto his bed and curled up, to pout. emo emo emo

Andel watched him walk off... and finding nothing else to do for himself, pulled a book out and began to read on the other bed in the room.

Irix emo'ed on his bed, trying to figure out a way to redeem himself in teh eyes of his new room mate, but nothing was comming to mind. He felt his companion sigh in teh back of his mind, but that was all teh impute the horse was going to give. So he pouted some more. Thats what he did best, after all.

(Any gift is fine... probably want to stick to heraldic though... since that's what Andel's got... and it would be strange sharing a room with a herald trainee when you aren't. I still need his character bio though)
Andel continued his reading, not even noticing his room mate's troubled movements.

Irix figited a little. He could take it anymore. He had to make good with ANdel. Now. So he sat up with a quiet sigh and looked over at his room mate, trying to quickly think of something to talk about.
How did you talk to a mute?
"So... What are you reading?"

He calmly looked up and showed the title of the book. He used his fingers as his temporary book mark.

Irix nodded, and fell into silence again. This was awkward.
So he sat in silence, and watched Andel. trying not to be a bother.

Irix kept quiet for as long as he could, which was a good few minutes! THen he had to open his mouth again, because the silence was ebbing away at him "Is ... it a good book?"
How he ever managed to live here alone? He held conversations with himself when Kyril, his companion, was busy. It was a great way to study!

He'll shrug... and motion that he's only a few pages into the book. He'll then look back down at it and try to continue reading.

Irix figited. he was figity when he was nervouse, and he was having a hard time grasping teh fact that Andel was Mute; meaning he didn't talk. His mind kept comming to teh conclusion of 'he hates you' over and over. Even though he knew it wasn't exactly true. He tried to amuse himself with twidling his thumbs, but that only lasted a minute or two. "right.."
He gave up. he didn't care anymore, or so he told himself. He dropped down, hanging half upside down off the side of his bed, and started looking underneith the bed frame for a sac of books that he'd been using as history refrences. "Come here, little books..."

Andel couldn't halp but smile at Irix's actions. His eyes followed the boy as he continued to move around trying to find his "little books."

Irix stretched out his arm ad far as it would go; he'd spotted teh bag but it was jsut out of his reach. he tried to stretch a little more, trying to keep his balance so he didn't fall like a fool, and the tips of his fingers brushed against the bag. "Come on..." He planted one hand firmly on teh ground above his head, to make sure he didn't fall, and reached, grabbing with his hands blindly until he actually grabbed cloth, then he dragged the load out.
He hauled the book bag up onto his bed and sighed. That was actually alot of work. And now he didn't feel like studying anymore.. Oh well. what else could he do aside from watch his mute room-mate? He was in teh process of digging through the bag when he sideglanced and stopped. Andel was watching him. "..huh?"

Andel smiled again, blushing lightly. He hadn't intended his rahter obnoxious room mate to figure out he was being watched. He quickly looked back down at his book... trying to read, but couldn't find his place. He silently sighed and closed the book and placed it in a small carrying satchel next to his bed.

Irix blinked a couple times before Andel got up and put his book away, then blinked a few more times after that. He was completly caught up in his whole 'Oh crap i did something wrong again' mindset that he missed His roomies blush, and now was agonising internaly over 'how am i EVER going to make this better??'
Yes. Irix was a spazz.
