"Yes, very well for your first time, as was Thibaut's. Koumuru, it's no big deal really. But remember that when you're out in the field, a simple mistake could screw up a whole mission. Just work on those hand seals." she smiled.
"May I try?" Colette asked meekly, feeling slightly overwhelmed by the boys' techniques.
"Knock yourself out." Adlan said, lighting the tree with her fire jutsu again, just enough to burn the tree and not set it ablaze.
"Here goes..." she took a deep breath and placed her palms on the dead bark, still able to feel the heat. Please work... she thought, Concentrate! A few seconds later her hands began to glow a pale green that was slowly moving up the base of the tree. When she opened her eyes, the scorch marks that covered the tree were half way gone.
"Hmm...Not bad..." she said, getting interested. Walking up to the tree she broke off one of the higher branches and examined the inside. "It's alive." she held out the light green wood for them all to see. "You are a pretty good healer for your first time. I noticed your other jutsu were lacking but you might have good enough chakra control to become a Medic Nin. That goes for all of you. Sukauto, you have excellent tracking and hunting skills. Koumuru and Thibaut, very strong jutsu. It's important to figure out what you are good at so you can shape your career as a shinobi."

Koumuru looked up at the teacher and sighed, sort of dissappointed in himself that he was actually the only one that messed up. "Hmmm..." He pulled out the knife he still had after the fight with the tiger, its blade completely covered in blood and slightly dull. He smiled and shook his head. "Yeah...maybe your right...can I show you something else I picked up on while still at home?"
Sukauto stuck his head in between his legs and covered it up with his arms. "Darn...I wanted to learn ninjutsu too..." He fell back on the ground and started breathing heavily again, still trying to gain back up some strength so he could be his usual peppy self.

"Doesn't mean you can't. I was just pointing out what you excel at. You can combine ninjutsu with hunting." she nodded at Koumuru. "Sure. I'm interested to see what you can really do."

"Heh...okey dokey then." He performed a series of hand symbols and then chanted the jutsu under his breath. Quickly, a deep mist circled around everyone, rendering the vision of each person in the area. A few seconds after, a voice came from behind Adlan. "So...how do you like it? I have some assassination techniques that work well with it too...but I don't really want to show those right now...for safety's sake."

"I can't see!" says thibaut. He makes a few handsigns, and sends a huge gust of wind in all directions, clearing the mist. "much better."

The mist fills back in immediately after Thibaut made it go away, only giving him a split second to see everything. Then the voice came back, this time on Thibaut's left. "Getting rid of the mist isn't that easy...I can control its magnitude as much as I want, so as long as one droplet remains, you'll be blind." Suddenly, the blood-stained knife that Koumuru had been holding was wrapped around the throat of Colette, the mist seeming to be so thick that not even the hilt of it could be seen.
((i love the hidden mist jutsu ^^))

"Don't...touch...me...you a**!" Colette growled, closing her eyes and homing in on the boy, tossing the rock she had been holding directly at his forehead.
"Very interesting." Adlan smiled, putting down her book. She walked out to the center of the field and made a few signs. "Release!"
The mist started to disperse once again.

Koumuru dodged to the left and removed the cloak of mist he had been wearing as his jutsu started to dissipate. He started laughing as everyone started to become visible again, the knife still in his hand. "Don't be so quick to yell. What if that was simply a clone and I was actually just waiting for you to make a sound so I could find you and kill you? Oh yes...and I never touched you..."

Colette grew silent, but quickly stuck her tongue out at the two.
"Okay then." Adlan smiled sweetly, "Raidou, would you like to add anything to this before I go back to my music and completely forget that I'm in the middle of a lesson?"

Koumuru crossed his arms and stuck his tongue back out at her.
Sukauto jumped up in the air and started cheering. "Yay!!!! There's more! What else are we going to learn? Huh? Huh? Huh?"
