Zida laughed quietly at herself. "They were all asleep and can be a real pain to wake up...and I figured that since I was traveling light and I didn't want to be caught flying off aimlessly, I might as well leave without one."

"We'll get you a friend in Earth and Fire bending...and I'll help with Air, unless you would prefer a 'master'." She put air quotes around master and rolled her eyes. I may not be a master, but I'm close...ish...

Zida stood up, placing her hands on her hips near where her fans were. "Don't make me blow you overboard. Avatar or not, I'll treat you the same as everyone else I've met." She smiled.

Zida rolled her eyes, wishing she had a different family. "Tell me about it...I don't know what exactly they have against you, and I know that I have nothing against you, but they just.... They're the reason I left the way I did. I was tired of being pushed that far."
