"Yeah, you ladies should get away, before you're blinded by the awesome light that is...James Potter," James said in his fake suave voice. He blew on his fingernails and polished them on his sweater like he had seen on a Muggle movie he had seen over the summer.
Sunrise couldn't help but snort slightly at James's comment. He really was daft.
"Alright Lily, I'll have to see you after breakfast then," Sunrise said quietly, walking with her to the castle doors.

"You might want to get off your high horse Potter." Lily rolled her eyes. "Are you coming Ronny?"
"Hello Ladies, I hope you're not causing to much damage to my friend here." Sirius walked over and saw Sunrise. "How's it going beautiful?"

James looked at his friend with slight amusement.
"They're emotionally scarring me, Padfoot," James said, making his voice small as if he were a little kid. He put his best pout on his face and looked up at Lily with his biggest Hazel eyes.
"Don't you feel bad now, Evans?" he asked her.
Sunrise felt a high blush rise to her cheeks; she really really really liked to look at Sirius Black. She just hoped he didn't know that, or she would just about die.
"Hi...Sirius," Sunrise said hesitantly.

Remus walked out onto the grounds, looking for james and sirius. 'of course' he thought to himself 'bugging lily and her friends'. He walked over to them "hi you guys" he said

"No Potter, I don't feel bad at all." Lily gave him a cold smile. "Black, I'll cause all the damage I want when Potter starts it, and you had better leave Sunrise alone or there will be #e!! to pay. Nice to see you again Remus, now maybe you can exhort some control over your animals."
"But Evans, I'm just entranced by her beauty." He wrapped an arm around Sunrises shoulder. "How about the two of us go to dinner on Friday night in Hogsmeade?"

Sunrise didn't answer Sirius, she just stood there, feeling stupid having Remus Lupin (though he was sweet) 'protect' her. She could feel heat radiating off of her face.
((Seriously, having so much fun with this!))
"Padfoot...marry her," James said bluntly, looking at the blushing girl. That only seemed to mortify her. He clapped Sirius on the back briefly.
"Moony, old man, when did you get here?" James roared jovially, grabbing Remus in a headlock and yelling 'say uncle' repeatedly.

"First I have to get her to go out to dinner with me." Sirius stopped in rumination for a moment. "Even if she won't have dinner with me, she can eat breakfast with me. I don't care if she is in Ravenclaw. Today, she is an honorary Gryffindor, and I don't give a hoot what the teachers say. Got that Sun? You are as of this moment a Ravendor." He scooped her off the ground and into his arms. (Sorry for the godmodding, but it's an idea, and you said have fun.) "I'll lay off when I'm six feet under mooney."
"You guys are such jerks." Lily was positivley fuming.

Sunrise shrieked even though she felt perfectly safe, and quickly wrapped her arms around the older boy's neck to keep from falling.
"Umm...okay," she said uncertaintly, allowing him to carry her away.
((that was pleasant...oh and I don;t mind that kind of god-modding, so long as I'm not like, killing anyone it's ok))
James merely laughed, watching the odd pair walk away.
"Well...that was spontaneous even for Padfoot's standards. Eh, Moony?" he said, still holding Remus in a headlock.

"Okay, really...getting a bit dizzy up here," Sunrise called down faintly, but laughing all the same. "Lily, you've really gotta loosen up a bit, luv. I mean, look at me: I've been damn bloody depressed for about three years now, and all in one morning I'm laughing more than I have since--..." Sunrise's face tinged with pink. "Well...for a very long time now."
James suddenly dropped Remus, almost smelling a secret in the air."Well, how long IS a very long time? And, for that matter, why have you been bloody damn depressed for the past three years?" he asked, initating Sherlock Holmes and smoking an invisible pipe.
