Nah dude you're doing pretty good, you could always try to improve. You could always try checking out some tutorials if you need to or use some refrence pics to help. Some people actually use some wooden manequins from art shops/ikea to help
3nodding You did an awesome colouring job with Issac btw
biggrin Thanks, but yeah tutorials pretty much are good for coloring techniques.
As far as anatomy goes, I have one of those mannequins the male version and it really doesn't work for me. :p
Eheheheh...a person's skeleton and a dissected dead cat helped me with anatomy. If you know where each muscle attaches and how skeletons are generally situated (Key parts like the pectoral girdle and origin & insertions of key muscles), then anatomy will be easier to understand and maybe draw. I uhh...tried to make the cat's limbs move to see how the muscle looked. Maybe you can sneak into a science class with a skeleton and anatomical model to see how everything's attached if you want to avoid dissection.
Just letting you all know, I don't normally slaughter things for the sake of art. lol. It's part of anatomy lab and such. There's also the option of taking figure drawing class. It really helps to read several art anatomy books sometimes. This one bargain anatomy for the artist book was pretty helpful.
Hmm...there's some castlevania art I never finished from a few years ago.... I think I'll post when I'm not lazy. Inking...blarrrgh.
