umaeril _G`O_______ noname4u ^ Communism - It's a party! Quote: Music genres expressing ones personality. If that was how it worked, then I'd be sort of a robot programmed with a constant happy-go-oh-lucky attitude who takes great pleasure in wearing 10ft high platform shoes, about 10kg of various religious and anti-religious symbols, a fashionable handbag, pink frilly clothes, a slovenian coal miners' hat and a clown nose. I listen to the most unrelated stuff I listen to whatever has a cool beat and voice. ^^I am kinda with you on this one. I like a good beat, something melodic, generally and they have to have a decent voice. I am not into screaming, in general. Then house music is for you! =P Some of the best voice comes from there aswell. As for screaming, screaming can be nice, as long as it in Finnish. Finnish metal! Thats the only kind of metal I listen to.

Well I have never heard Finnish metal, so that could be good...or not. smile
Ok, what do I like that has some bite to it? I like Korn well enough, and some Metallica, SOAD, stuff like that.
I dislike stuff like Good Charlotte (sorry Liz if you read this), or Green Day, stuff in that genre, though I can listen to Linkin Park and Incubus, Chevelle, those are ok to me.
And I love Indian music and middle eastern music. I like exotic sounds.

The Skullmaster In Soviet Russia, party finds YOU! (had to be done) ROTF! That's great, Skully. "In Soviet Russia, road forks you!" I still like that skit with Peter/Lois were in Cuba. "Geez, you guys are nothing like the communists I see on TV!" "Quit STALIN and tell us your MARX!" bahahaha...but I digress.

But it's a lot better than most other heavy metal type of music Eww Korn sad That is probably the name I hate the most, not even the music.. just the damn name. Though I don't listen to the music either =P Used to listen to some Metallica and SOAD, but I lost interest to that stuff Hmm dislike, now that I could go on about for years. I don't even know the names to all the genres I hate! I love music in some specific languages! Russian for example is a nice one, it just sounds so cool when in a song. German is another one. House music too, disco never gets old.. neither does synthpop!

_G`O_______ *updates discussion after vacation from gaia* You might want to put the topic in the subject line. ^^ So you don't want to talk about communism and music, huh? Being in love is such a biological imperative that I disagree with it entirely.

Yes but some would say it is the ultimate strength. Where do people get these ideas from?

It's only a temporary boost in strenght as you get the feeling that you are not alone, but you will ultimately get crushed by your enemies when you suddenly lose the feeling and are overcome with weakness like never before!
My commissar told me that feelings like compassion and love are a weakness only suitable for the enemy. For the imperium of man!

Suitable for the enemy huh? Well that has merit. Love is rather a deception I think. One thinks one is in love, but in general, this is just infatuation. I can tell because it wears off.

Love is a great feeling and makes you realize a lot about the world. I think love is compatibility that you hunt for which makes you think you need it and when you finally find it you get infatuated with the person you are most alike. Love is infatuation uma. Well at least thats what I think. wink
