Aranya let one eye open when she felt Blui leave her grasp and she watched him tend to the eggs. Once she heard his stomach grumble, she decided to get up.
Standing upright and stretching her wings, she moved over to her mate and kissed him lightly on the cheek.
"Good morning. I guess we should get some food huh?

Blui hadn't been expecting the kiss, or for Aranya to get up yet, so he jumped slightly in surprise.
"Aranya!" He exclaimed and then sighed when he realised that it wasn't some weird trying to get the eggs. "Yeah....some food would be good right now!" He laughed and pooped his head out of the nest to see if any other phoenii were awake yet.

"I'm sorry if I scared you Blui. It was just so nice waking to see you."
She wasched him look out of the nest before continuing. "Chances are that my mother is awake if we want food from there. We can go berry picking at some point today so we have food in here for tomorrow."

"That would be great! It's lovely to wake up and see you too." Blui retorted and glanced over at the 3 eggs. "But what about Sachi, Kamin and Larak. Will we leave them here while we go out?" He asked nervously and shuffled his feet. He didn't like the idea of leaving their 3 precious children unattended in the nest.

Aranya hadn't thought of that..
"We could either take them with us, or I just quickly fly over and grab food from my families nest. I think my mum used to have a basket she used to carry her eggs around while she went out. I could also see if we can borrow that. It means we're not stuck in the nest until the hatch."

Blui was still looking over at the eggs with a concerned look but he trsuted Aranya.
"Okay, the basket sounds like a good idea. Then we can take them wherever we go!....But this is one problem, you'll have to tell them what you need the basket for our eggs. So now is a good time to tell our families, well atleast yours anyway!" He explained wisely and nodded his head.

"Yea, that's what I was thinking.. I've decided I'm going to tell mum and dad first, then they can tell the others."
Aranya looked in the direction of her families nest before turning back to Blui. "I'll go now if you want."

Blui was a little reluctant to let Aranya go as he wasn't sure how her family would react, but he eventually nodded to her and waved his wing.
"Okay but return safely. I don't anything to happen to my very pretty mate!" He laughed and blew a kiss to her. He would be fine by himself for a little bit, and he needed to think about what he would say to his familiy when the time came to tell them. Would they be delighted or sad, happy or angry?

Aranya hugged her mate tenderly. "I will be carefull, and knowing my mother, she'll be thrilled more than anything."

Blui settles himself down next to the 3 offspring and sighed. "What should I say to them? Guess what everyone, I just got a mate yesterday and had 3 eggs! I'm now living in a nest with them so see you around?!" He suggested to himself sarcastically and rolled his eyes. This wasnt going to be as easy as he thought it was going to be.
"Maybe I should add in some humour. Or make it sound like a soap opera? Or maybe I should just tell them exactly what happened and hope for the best? I think i'll go with the last one!" Blui laughed to himself and grinned.

Aranya landed back in the nest and placed a basket full of berries in front of the eggs before turning to blui.
"Mum and Dad are happy for us. I think they gave us enough berries to last a few days knowing them." She laughed softly.

Blui was still muttering to himself when Aranya arrived so he immedietly glomped onto her and nuzzled her. "This is going to be great, we've got enough food. A basket to carry the eggs in, your parents are okay with it. Now it's my turn!" He cheered and then his face dropped. "My family......Oh My GAWD!" He sweatdropped and shuffled over to the exit of the nest. "Wish me luck!" Blui demanded and took off in the direction of his old nest.

Aranya watched him leave before moving the twigs and feathers off the eggs. I'f I'm their mother, I'm going to sit on them

Blui heavily landed back in the nest with a loud 'THUMP' and sighed. He had been weighed down by all of the fruit and the photo that his familiy had giving him.
"Hey Aranya, i'm back!" He announced breathlessly and placed the 10 pieces of fruit into the basket of berries. Blui then placed the photo of him and Missie next to the basket and sat down next to his mate.
"Well that was emotional. Sashica and Missie cried all over me, Midna wished me goodluck and gave me some fruit and the others wished me luck." He whispered and kissed her affectionately.

Aranya kissed her mate tenderly. "I'm so glad our families took that so well. My parents said they would visit us later. The refuse to miss out on seeing their grandchicks." Aranya grinned. Her mother was such a protective phoenii.
