MaDMiDgEt DC Talks best albums was Free At Last, no contest. Ah, the good ol' days of good contemporary Christian music.... Yeah, Relient K is pretty popular...what i hate about them is all the screaming, obsessive little girls who love em to death and don't understand what half the songs are about xp . They have a song about Thundercats and I heard a girl singing it, then she said "I love this song! But who or what are Thundercats?" I wanted to hurt her..... If you don't I will. I mean really.... who's never heard of the Thundercats. Besides that I hate screamy obsessive girls. They bug me. Maybe I'm a bit of tomboy but I don't understand how a few guys playing instruments could get someone that excited. Not to say that I don't like Relient K, they have great lyrics, it's the fanatics that annoy me.

MaDMiDgEt faceheaD my favorite christian bands are "burn the priest" and "burn the crucifix" I hope you have better things to do with your time. If you have a problem with Christian music, you can go ahead and say so. This thread is open to discussion of Christian music, be it positive or negative. Just don't be a jerk about it. they are actual bands

Whether or not they are Christian seems subjective, as they describe themselves as "or what?" Given the use the vulgarity in one of their songs, and that none of their songs are edifying, I would lean towards not, but who am I to judge? However, I found nothing on Burn the Crucifix. Maybe if you have something on them you can send it to me. Either way, I apologize for making a rash response, but considering your first post in there about "Iron Maiden" and that other band, I got the impression you were mocking us. But I still get that idea considering your choice of band's names and that I find nothing on them that supports the fact that they belong here.

"I'm Lion-O" was the song that got me into the band in the first place! It's still one of my favorites....
"Hangin' out at the lair, Snarf and me and the twins. My favorite feline is the one who wore cheetah skins. Fighting evil, We drink milk and we purr a lot. Ask me to cross them And I would say, 'I'd rather not. I'd rather not.....' Thundercats! Ho-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Thundercats! Ho-oh-oh! I'm Lion-o! I'm Lion-o!" etcetera.
Facehead, no one was questioning the validity of the bands in question. Merely pointing out the intent in which they mentioned herein.

But as I mentioned above, it upsets that so many fans obsess over it, yet don't understand it xp The song that got me into Relient K was "Marylin Manson Ate My Girlfriend" from their debut album blaugh

Lately I've been listening to a lot of hair metal from the 1980s. Stuff like Betrayal, Contagious, Dreamer, Joshua, Neon Cross, White Metal Warriors, and (one my favorite bands ever smile Stryper. Bang your head for Jesus, all. (But what hand gesture are you supposed to make? Dio devil horns hardly seems appropriate...)

P.O.D Skillet Superchick
Has anybody ever heard of Superchick's song called 'Hero'? It's a really awesome song and if you have heard it, do you remember when Matt starts to rap? Have you ever really listened to it? You should because when you do it'll make you cry but it has a really good message to it too.

Hah, hey JoJo, I was raised on Christian metal and i havent heard of any of those bands you mentioned, except for Stryper of course. I was just rocking out to their greatest hits album earlier whee . I was into stuff like White Cross, White Heart, Petra, Deliverance, and Die Happy when I was real little.
Who hasn't heard Superchic[k]'s Hero? xp Superchic[k] is a good band, but I always had a hard time getting into them because the vocalist is so...monotone? There seems to be no passion, enthusiasm, or energy in how she sings...and she has no dept, no range. Though they did a great job on the Regeneration version of "Stand." Yeah, actually, Regeneration was an all arounnd decent album. 3nodding

The only christian band I listen to is P.O.D. One of my favorites. I saw them play at a club with Blindside. Simply an incredible show. I prefer their older songs, like what was on the Fundamental Elements of Southtown. The latest album, Payable On Death, doesn't suit me as well as FEoS or Satellite did. Currently they are working on a new record. I hope it's better than the last one, even though the album P.O.D did have a few good songs.

But I still like to go further back to the days of Snuff the Punk (1994) and Brown (1996) 3nodding The new self-titled record wasn't nearly as hard as the other stuff, but the instrumental track, with Phil Keaggy, is really nice

I think my favorite P.O.D. song has got to be "Punks Rock", off of Brown. Just for the entertainment value of what the lyrics are...
"I want my french fries! Give me some french fries! I need some french fries! Give me my french fries! I need my french fries! My french fries! French fries! Well, I need some ketchup! For my french fries! give me some ketchup! For my french fries! French fries! Ketchup! French fries!" Etcetera.
