Atae was looking to her friend and didn't see the blow in time. She was knocked off her feet and a few paces away, toppling to land heavily on her side. Her arm got pinned beneath her and she hissed in pain, not sure if she'd felt something snap or not.

The male darted to Atae's side, eyes nervous as she cringed painfully. "Atae?" He didn't dare to nudge her, fearful of injuring her further. He moved a paw up to his own wound, glancing at it with disgust before smearing the blood off and onto the dirt. He was still in control, if not shaken. Paws moved forward to place him between the two females and he narrowed his gaze at Charity. "I said enough. You know...I had actually hoped to befriend you. Let's not ruin it any further now, eh?" Especially if it would get his other friend hurt. Besides, Terasu wasn't a fighter thanks to his hinderance, and would have to stay on the defense.

Charity snorted loudly at Terasu's words, seemingly showing no remorse for having hurt Atae. She approached Terasu boldly, anger in her amber eyes. "Yeah right." How could she believe it after what he'd said? He should have thought about that before.. it was too late now. The damage had been done.
"I'm just a filthy homunculus.. isn't that right? We're all the same. All I know how to do is hurt other kitsu. Well... I'll just show you what can I do." Her voice laced with vemon as she snarled angrily, fur bristling as she then lunged for Terasu.

Atae tried to get up to help Terasu, or at least get out of the way so he wouldn't have to stand there and protect her like that, but as soon as she tried to put weight on the leg she'd landed on she collapsed back to the ground, tears of pain in her eyes. It hurt too much to even cry out. But even if it was broken, she had to get out of there. Terasu was free now, and hopefully he wouldn't get trapped again. Right now she was just a hinderance... so she tried to crawl back toward the tree she'd originally been hiding behind.

Terasu kept a poker face directed at Charity. "Heh, and here I thought you were better than that." Ears darted back, pained to hear his friend hurt. So long as he could keep her out of the boiling conflict, she had a chance. The boy blinked in surprise at the other's words. Then she darted forward, and he tensed and held his ground. "Homunculus or not, you're still a girl." He narrowed green eyes. "And I'll show you all I know; protecting others."

"Than you're just another idiot!" Charity yelled as she plowed into Terasu. Atae didn't matter at all to her... she'd just been in her way. Thus, the spawn of Envy didn't so much as bat an eye in her direction as she crawled off. Paws with wickedly sharp claws swinging at Terasu to rip and tear. Needle like teeth snapping at his face. His calm demeanor was maddening and she hoped to send him running away with his tail tucked between his legs... or worse.

Atae curled up behind the tree in a fetal position, fear and pain making her body shake. Someonehelpsomeonehelpsomeonehelp... was her repetitive and currently only thought. If Charity did manage to hurt Terasu, whether the sin-spawn came after her out of spite or not she wasn't going to be able to do anything like this. She'd hurt her ribs too, she knew, because it was getting hard to breathe without even more pain lancing through her system.

A grunt escaped as Charity crashed into Terasu. Sidestepping, he darted in another direction, glancing to make sure Atae was safe. Chaotic swipes were made at him, and with each one he tilted and dodged. "You may have your daddy's strength," he backed away from razor teeth, "but it's useless if you're slow." He smirked. "That temper doesn't help any. He may look very similiar to his own parent, but when it cam to temper, it was easily contained. Rearing, he thrust his own weight forward into Charity's side, hoping to set her off balance.

Charity had thought she was plenty fast.. but she didn't have the lightning quick and fluid movements that her father did. It frustrated her, but she seemed to shrug off Terasu's words and continued her assault upon him. His weight against her side caused her to lurch and stumble, "Oof!" However, she wheeled around to swipe her claws at his backend and tails.

"Haagh!" Damn her and her reflexes! The feathered tails flickered angrily at the slashes, red liquid inking off the tips. Heh, this would get nowhere fast, with him burning too much energy. Besides.... He peeked over to where Atae lay. He couldn't waste time. "I suppose a Sin is exception enough." Purple paw raised and he placed it in his maw, sinking teeth in flesh. His nerves rushed at the taste, and he gave Charity a devious and toothy smirk. Now.....was the challenge of control.

Charity only sneered and was about to continue her attack until things seemed to shift in a different direction. The 'sin' stopping to stare at Terasu as he bit into his own paw. What the hell? Quickly noticing the change that came over the feathered kitsu, and that ... smirk.
Nose twitched and lip lifted to expose fangs in a snarl, after the momentary surprise. Leaping into action, Charity was making a run towards him once more... quickly closing the short distance. A loud noise.. practicly a roar peeling from her throat as she lunged for him with intention to sink those wicked teeth of hers into the flesh of his shoulder.

Terasu sneered as well, the blue mingling in his mouth and dripping off his canines. He bristled and darted forward, concern tossed from his mind. The thrill of the blood...he wanted more! Eyes gleamed as Charity loomed over in her lunge and he met her attack head on. A shoulder for a shoulder was just fine for him. He dug his teeth into her ruff fiercely and grinned.

For a moment... it seemed like nothing significant had happened.. with the exception of two kitsu biting into each other's shoulders. There was silence, Charity's teeth sinking into Terasu with a firm grip. She held that grip for several moments, until it started to slacken. A pain like she hadn't known before seering through her own shoulder. Amber eyes slowly widened in confusion as her teeth released the feathered male.
It was poison... venom to be precise, that started to course through her veins. With every beat of her heart it seeped deeper still, eating away at everything it touched. A choked gasp and her legs suddenly gave out, causing Charity to crumple onto the ground with a thud. Eyes wide as she wildly sucked in air, her muscles spasming in a brief seizure as the venom took over. Slowly shutting down all her bodily functions.

Ah, already taking effect? His teeth held her in place, before dropping her slack weight. Smirk widened as he relished in the chokes and gasps. Sitting back on his haunches, he lifted his paw and began petting at her ruff in a cruelly kind manner. "Didn't I warn you?" Head lowered down to whisper in her ear. "It hurts less if you breath slower." Where was the dangerous Homunculus now?

With the bite wound being so close to her heart, the venom was pumped through her body a lot faster... and started to affect the organ itself as it thumped loudly in her chest. Charity lifted a paw... but it didn't last long as it fell to the ground once more as her body shuddered yet again.
Amber eyes turned to look at Terasu... still full of shock and horror at what was happening. However, her throat couldn't form any words to say... only strangled gasps escaped her. Within a few more moments her eyes started to glaze over, breathing slowing down and eventually stopping altogether. The sin's daughter staring blankly with lifeless eyes, maw opened slightly with tongue hanging out. She was dead.
