Songstress smiles and nosed him gently. He was too sweet! This lion was very interesting, kind and outrageously sweet and honest. When he settled, she slid off his back, pacing around to face him. She laid down, crossing her forelegs and considering him for a few moments.
"You are most kind Halo, but I would not have you give up your wings for anything... They are part of you, and I very much like you as you are." She nosed his cheek. "I was all to glad to sing for you, and I would sing again. I enjoy your company, and I enjoy spending time with you... I would very much like to see you again...."
'Or never leave you...'

"Thank you kindly, Songstress. And it was my pleasure to fly for you. I enjoy spending these moments with you, and if I may, would love to see you again." And maybe never leave you... He stared into her eyes. Clearing his throat gently, he slowly spoke. "Forgive me for my lack of manners, but, does one such as yourself have a...beloved? If this is too personal, please feel free not to answer. I'm out of line with this question, but, I'm curious." He gave a slight smile, tired wings laid out on the grass as he tried to rest. Part of him battled whether to go home or not.

She laughed softly and ducked her head shyly... Well, she probably should has asked him that before he flew her around, and suddenly she wondered about a strange lioness showing up at Temple's Decorations... She shook her head, cleared her throat and spoke.
"No.. I am, alone in this land.. Aside from my family and the occassional friend I make..." She gave a shy smile. "I've never had anyone, like that..."

"Shame..." Halo breathed a slight sigh of relief. Atleast he didn't have to worry about any strange lion coming after him for messing with Songstress. His scent was mingled with hers, which might lead to questioning later, but oh well.
Flicking his tail he stared at her. "Well...if it isn't too soon, may this Desert Angel be in consideration for being...your beloved?" Halo's eyes held a slight pleading to them as he stared into her eyes. Stretching out one of his forepaws, he placed it on one of her forepaws. He seemed to be reaching out for more than her physical body...her heart.

At his initial remark, she shrugged. A shame? Not really. What if she had someone, and then she had met him? That would have been so much worse... He was unclaimed as well? How was that possible?
She smiled at his question and nodded, nuzzling his paw for a moment. "Of course, but it is a rather short list.. You are the only one on it..."
She giggled.

"Then, let me be the only one." He smiled gently and brushed her cheek with his paw. "Songstress, I must say you are quite the beauty. Gods strike me dead if I may say you are the Goddess herself in the flesh. And you have given me audience! I am truly blessed..." He murmured gently then settled his head back upon his paws, not taking his eyes off Songstress.

She laughed softly and shook her head, eyes dancing. Oh he was so charming... So amazingly charming... And so handsome... And when he flew her over the lands... Well, he'd helped her live her dream... She glanced up at the sky and sighed... She had been up there, if only for a short while. He had done that.
"I have no trouble with you being the only one." She sighed, ducking her head and gazing up at him through lowered lashes. "No trouble at all..."
'I think you already are the only one...'
"And I would never deny you an audience..." She grinned... 'I would never deny you anything...'

"Good..." Because I'm falling for you hard. "And I will fly for you anytime you wish..as long as I get to hear that wonderful voice of yours." For all eternity... Halo stared at her. She was so amazingly beautiful. Her voice was soft, yet it touched his very soul! To think, she would make a wonderful angelic lioness. If only he could give her the wings she deserved! That would be his only wish for her...
Reaching out with his paws again, he brushed her mane aside, staring into her eyes. "If I may say, Lady Songstress, you need to stop hiding your face. Such a lovely thing doesn't need to be hidden in the shadows." How would I ever find my way home? He gave her a comforting and gently smile, tail flicking. "If I may, I would love to fly you home..."If I may stay there with you.

Tessa grinned. "Alright... I'd very much like to fly again... It is most kind of you to offer Halo..."
She nuzzled him and blushed. She was shy, it was just habbit.. But if it pleased him, she'd try not to do it anymore. She tilted her head and smiled at him.
"Then I suppose I will... And that is very kind of you, I suppose I should be getting back.." She glanced at the skies, considering the stormy appearance.. "Perhaps you'll..."
She cleared her throat. "Perhaps you'd like to stay, at least, until the weather clears?"

Halo rose upon his feet and shook himself a little. His wings ruffled, then slowly went back toward his sides as the angelic stared upward. "Hmm...yes, I think I will stay. As long as you wish me to, Lady Songstress." He stared down at her and gave the lioness a gentle smile. "Shall I take you home now, or in a little while? Whenever you like is alright with me." He flicked his ears a little.

"Alright... Well.. A little rain never bothered me." She offered with a casual flick of her tail, trying to hide her smile of pleasure. He'd stay? Stay with her? As long as she wanted? What if it was forever? His eyes kept glinting at her, shining right at her heart... Why did she feel like it was too late? Like she loved this male?
She stood and ducked under his chin, rubbing her face against his chest, then pacing on so her whole side rubbed along the silken length of his mane. Turning around and smiling at him, she grinned. "I'd rather stay out here with you for awhile..."

The angelic purred deeply feeling his Goddess run the length of her body against him. Static pulled at his insides making him feel slightly hot in more places than one. He tried to keep a hold of himself as he ran his jaw along her tail nipping at the feathers softly. "Then stay here as long as you like M'Lady Songstress.." He purred gently and nuzzled against the top of her neck nipping at her ears gently, his tail exploring her body.

Songstress giggled when he nipped her feathers and batted at him playfully, sitting back on her haunches and rearing up to paw at his flakes, then standing. She nipped at his flakes, nuzzled his cheek and snuggled against his chest, purring softly. This was the kind of lion she never thought she'd meet... And always hoped she would...
"I think I'd stay anywhere you were..." She sighed, smiling and purring back at him. The play of his feathers down her back and side made her shiver and curl closer to him.

Halo gave a slight smile playing with her flakes and feathers using his muzzle. "Really?" He whispered gently into one of her ears. "I think that's good to know Songstress...for I would stay anywhere as long as you were by my side..." Using his left forepaw, he hugged her close to him, her head resting under his chin. Unfolding his wings, he wrapped them around her as he settled upon his haunches. "I would do anything you asked me to..."

She smiled and nuzzled his cheek, searching his eyes as he wrapped his wings around her. She could stay with this charming lion forever... Happily...
"Stay with me." She smiled and nuzzled him. "Forever, if you've got the time... My future looks pretty open so..."
She shrugged with a playful smile. "As long as you're in it, I'm set..."
