I don't like Sasuke/Sakura, but not because I happen like Gaara/Sakura. I don't like it, simply because of Sakura's character development. If she ended up with Sasuke in the end, then it was like she didn't do anything important for HERSELF, but so Sasuke would love her back.
I'd be so mad. 'Angry letter' mad.
I'd be even angrier if she ended up with Naruto. Again, not because I ship the hell out of Gaara/Sakura, but because of Hinata. She's loved Naruto since the beginning, and I think she deserves to be happy with him if he'd get his head out of his ramen and notice her.
And Gaara deserves to not be tossed to that filler-sue, Matsuri to be with someone that can not only help him become more human, but can appreciate how he has changed, and how hard he had to work to change.

I pretty much like both SasuSaku & GaaSaku.
I started off as a SasuSaku fan though.
And yeah, I agree that most GaaSaku fans probably see a little bit of Gaara's personality in their own character, thus they become attracted to GaaSaku as a pairing.
I suppose I like just about every pairing with Sakura though, like a few of you do.
As far as "hybrid" or "crack" pairings go, I enjoy ShikaSaku, KibaSaku, SaiSaku, and, of course, GaaSaku. Most of you might not consider SaiSaku a crack pairing...

Honestly I don't mind sasusaku but I just really and I mean REALLY can't see them together maybe that's just me. I think Gaara and Sakura seem more for each other than Sasuke and Sakura but then again who knows. sweatdrop
