Endless chuckled to himself and saw Lily off with a smile, though there was his own hint of sadness behind the joy in his eyes. He may never have really gotten to be friends with Ed, but he liked the kid, and he was important to more than one person he cared about. Ah well... he had his own bodily functions flashing warning signals at him so he went to take care of himself while Lily was gone, scrawling a note on a piece of paper and setting it on his "hat" just in case she came back before he did.

He bumped into Atae as he exited his room - almost literally - and when she saw the shine in his eyes and the silly grin on his face it wasn't hard to guess what had transpired; though now she too worried about Ed. She didn't need to be told he'd probably up and left... again. "Good for you," she said, giving him a playful shove on the shoulder.

His grin only widened as he headed to the bathroom after seeing that Atae was simply headed to the kitchen for a glass of water. She looked tired... had she been up all night? Though she was more quiet about it the small femme seemed to have picked up some of his restlessness as a child, too. Or... that could be a family trait. Dante seemed the type to be prone to restlessness.

After spending a little extra time after relieving himself to wash up a bit and groom his fur he trotted back toward his room to find Atae cooking breakfast, Bryna cheerfully darting back and forth in mid-air to the fridge to get things for her. What was it with these kids and waking up before everyone else? "What are you two doing?"

"I thought a special day deserved something better than cereal," Atae said, making shifty eyes around the room. Something about her was changing since the incident with Terasu and Chastity... she was letting her out more, bit by little bit. He couldn't help but smile to himself.

Then Bryna chimed in, "And if you and cousin don't feel like bacon and eggs and toast we get to eat it all." He rolled his eyes in mock exasperation at Bryna's far more practiced shifty look and smiled at the girls before heading back to his room. He suddenly had an urge to straighten up his bed and set to work on it.

Endless wasn't at all opposed to being breakfast. He twined his tails with hers and turned his head to nibble playfully at one of her forelegs. "Actually I bumped into Atae on my to the bathroom, and she seems both to have guessed what's going on and taken it upon herself to make breakfast for us..."

And of course, Bryna chose that moment to pop into the room. "Food's done! Hi cousin!" She turned around and floated back out, chirping to Atae on her way back into the kitchen, "Cousin's back!"

Endless made a face at the retreating teen's back. "...and Bryna decided to help. Nobody else seems to be awake yet." For which he was glad, really... not that he didn't want everyone to know, or anything, but he didn't want a crowd around trying to distract him from Lily... Atae wouldn't do that, and for all that Bryna was... Bryna, she tended to follow Atae's lead when they were together.

For all that breakfast had been anounced, along with Lily's return, he wasn't ready to dislodge his love or even exit the room and returned to nibbling at her playfully, tails twining around and stroking hers.

Endless was pulled along slightly when Lily made her ungainly landing and chuckled, turning to pin her gently. He licked her cheek, behind her ear, and then along her neck before kissing her again. Then he gently disentangled their tails. "As you say, beloved. Something was said about bacon and eggs and toast. We have some milk and a couple of juices, I think..." He trailed off, just looking down at her with a soft smile and loving eyes.

He continued to look into her eyes for several moments before answering slowly, "I... forgot to think for a moment there... what was I saying?"

Endless kissed Lily back just as passionately and then fall back on his haunches at her playful shove, grinning as he stood and followed her toward the kitchen.

Atae had four plates set out waiting for them, with an equal shair each of bacon, eggs, and two pieces of toast. And she'd cooked quite a bit of bacon and eggs. Seems like there was never enough to go around...

"G'morning Lily. How are you?" Her question was asked hafl in jest... judging from the look of the two they were both doing wonderfully.

Bryna flopped down on the floor by a plate. "My spot!" She peered over at Lily curiously for a moment before asking, "...Can I have your bacon if you don't want it?"

Atae's empathy was being quiet this morning, but she didn't need it to see what Lily was feeling and why. She flashed her own happy/sad smile back at her friend. "Me? ... Better. Had a hard time sleeping last night for some reason."

Bryna looked mildly confused for a moment. "May I have your bacon?" It was spoken after the fact, and it was obvious she was saying it for the sake of testing it out. Having been given permission she concentrated on the bacon and floated it over to her plate a piece at a time. Yay! She could float stuff like her dad, too! Just... not anything big yet. She smiled ear to ear, obviously proud of her accomplishment.

Endless sorted out some of his bacon and handed it over to Atae who grinned sheepishly. "I saw you lookin' at it, squirt. Go ahead." Still sheepish, she took it and murmured a thank you. Endless then got up and trotted over to the fridge to look at what they had to drink. "Orange juice, apple juice... pineapple juice, and milk. What do you girls want?"

Seeing as the two younger females also voted for pineapple, he got out four bowls and set one next to each plate before pouring them all some juice. "I think we're gonna need more pineapple juice tomorrow." Atae laughed softly as he put the remainder of the juice away and settled next to Lily again and nibbled at his own meal.

"Daaaaaaaaaddy doesn't have proper grammar." That was Bryna's only comment on the matter, though oddly enough she almost conspicuously attempted to keep using said proper grammar herself.

When they were all done eating and Atae put the dishes away before Bryna could try to float them to the sink and break them, the belted femme asked, "So do you two have any plans today? ...Besides stuff I probably don't want to know about?" She stuck her tongue out at them while Bryna gave a blank look, obviously not knowing what Atae was talking about but not asking about it for once.
