You have no idea, beautiful lady. No idea. And he hoped she did not. "No. It's okay. Really. Startle away." Vana chuckled lightly, that coming closer to what he really wanted but dare not even let known on sooo many levels.
His embarrassment shifted and he had to look away briefly as he sat beside her. Was it his imagination or were they very close to each other? They were not touching, which was both good and bad. But he was happy, and soon enough his tails were wagging again, sweeping across the ground in wide arcs behind him.

Thankfully or unfortunately, Lucia didn't quite know why he dunked his head, she was just.....happy to be close to him. She laid herself down on her belly, fluffing up her peach colored wings a bit as she dipped the tips of her paws into the water, letting out a happy sigh. "I wish everyday could be like this...." she said wistfully, her tails moving about slowly on the grass.

He watched her softly a moment longer perhaps than he dared and still seem casual. Did every move she make have to be so exquisite? Even the way she fluffed her wings. And the sound of her sigh made Vanafindon feel comfortably warm inside as he carefully shifted his gaze across the lake. Everyday... like this? Did she mean with him, or simply the beauty of the day and how it was warm but cooled with a light breeze or something else entirely? The male could hope he figured in there somehow, and not wanting to have those hopes dashed did not ask. "Yeah. Me too."
Although eventually he would miss his twin. Maybe. Beside Lucia that could take a while.
Sinking to the ground beside her, Vana played with the water, shifting his gaze seemingly to watch the ripples he made while actually watching her white tipped paws and his black tipped ones in the water. Then their sweeping tails crossed upon the ground and he froze happily at the sensation.

Lucia stayed quiet, enjoying the comfortable moment with Vana. Was it wrong to wish for him to stay with her for probably the rest of the afternoon....and evening? She blushed lightly at that thought, so glad her father wasn't a mind reader. Her father! Oh dear, what would she do about her daddy? She had never before show any interest in any male, all her love and affection going to the males in her family and to her 'big' brother Spike.
Never before had she thought she would meet a male outside of her family, not really adding to the fact he was part of Trel's family, because the Audio's Keme and Naruto were happily together with the Audio's Relm and Rikku who were in Trel's family, so that possibility was there. No, it was just the fact that he was a male, one she was very much attracted to, that would probably send her daddy into some type of big, blubbering fit that his daughters were growing up so fast. Oh yes, she could see it now and she mentally rolled her eyes at the image.
She was taken out of her thoughts when she felt her tail brush against his spotted ones and she blushed again, the red showing on her light colored fur. She let out a breath and looked down into the water, finally noticing that the tips of her paws and the tips of his were opposite in color! Who knew! Taking a breath, she turned her head to give him a smile, "So, have you made any other friends around here?" she asked.

Vana visibly released a breath he had held since freezing when their tails touched. He had not crossed some unseen line... and Lucia was still there. And maybe his growing secret was still that. He looked at her when she spoke, breath catching at the tinge of color still visible through her beautifully light fur. His right paw lifted a fraction, but Vana caught himself before getting any closer to touching that tempting blush of hers. Then with a grin he breathed again, shaking his head with a grin. "Just you and Seer. Outside the family anyway."
Blue eyes sparkled, just drinking her in. "Pure luck."

Oh yes, she remembered the female Seer! But inside, she couldn't help but deflate. She never thought herself as beautiful, especially that incident about a month ago when she accidently watched as her father went into a huge tirade over something she still didn't quite understand. She had never seen her daddy yell or lose his temper, he was always cool and collected. But there he was, yelling at his human about something and Moochi was actually yelling right back at him. She knew she heard her name and Iulie's name from the arguing and something about not being pretty enough, and it didn't end until the Morgana Angelic and Faye had intervened. But her father was tense and snappy for days after that and she figured it was her fault for not being pretty enough, not like her sister.
She looked down into the water and sighed to herself, laying her head on her paws. She tried to get rid of those bad thoughts, but she couldn't. Now that she thought about it, what would someone like Vana see in someone like her? All her siblings had either gotten dark or some type of bold colors, something they got from both their parents. Her? She was light in color, sometimes thought as quite fragile, so it was hard to see how she could even be related to them. But someone like Seer? She had lightness to her, but she also had dark, bold colors, which made her look incredibly exotic. 'Something I'll never be....that's why no one will ever want me...' she thought to herself, closing her eyes.

Vanafindon of course knew nothing about of the thoughts were going through the female's head. Less on the matter itself. But he could see when her smile of moments before faded... could see that she now looked sad... and dejected? Something within him broke and the paw that had been reaching out to touch her off and on since they had met today moved through the water until it was beside hers, lightly brushing the white tip with an infinite tenderness & concern. This was echoed in his voice & eyes no longer dancing, but soft with unfeigned interest. "Lucia? Lucia... what's wrong?"

She was startled when she felt his paw touch hers, and her head shot up off her paws, the red back on her cheeks, but an involuntary tear rolling down her face. She immediately brushed it away, forcing a smile onto her face, "Nothing Vana! Nothing is wrong!" she said, trying to force the cheer back into her voice, but it was hard when she felt so rejected all of a sudden. Well...at least he was her friend.

Vana knew a bit about acting. He had been doing so around his twin since meeting the beautiful female beside him. Now he found himself slightly jealous of her paw, having wanted to wipe that errant tear of hers away himself. Maidhfinden was not here... there would have been no one but the two of them to know...
He sighed softly. "Okay... I guess, well, we've not been friends very long, have we? But, well, Lucia... if you ever need someone, just to talk or anything else... I'm here for you." Forever. the male gave her a sweetly silly grin, forced through his concern & worry -and the pain that they were not closer so that she might have been comfortable enough with him to tell the truth. It was not nothing... that he knew. One only got like that over something. But he would not press her.

Lucia gave him a small, genuine smile, his words making her feel warm and...well, cared for. "Thank you Vana, I really appreciate that." she said softly, her tail flicking about and brushing against his.

Now that was a smile. Soft & sweet & lovely. Like her. Of course that made him start wondering how soft Lucia would be to touch...
Vana did not let his thoughts dwell there. Though it was difficult, as their tails resumed their touches as they overlapped the small space between them. on one paw, he knew it was probably folly to let it continue. On the other, he liked it. Not only that, but to suddenly stop would draw attention to the fact that he was perhaps giving more attention to their tails & the contact than he should if he suddenly pulled his tails away. So it won out that his tails continued to sway, brushing lightly with Lucia's whenever possible.
The male smiled with a warm glance. He could stay here all day and into the night, just like this. And maybe... maybe someday he could tell her exactly how she was warming his heart.
"So... you've grown up around here, right? Parents, siblings, big family? What was it like? Tell me about yourself." I want to know everything, Lucia. Absolutely everything.

Lucia smiled at that when he asked her to tell him about herself, "Well, like I said before, I come from one of the biggest Angelic familes so far, but there is my other family! I've lived in the Realm all my life, and I love it here! I already mentioned my Auntie Morgana, but we just call her Morgy cause it is shorter! She also has a daughter, Morticia, she is so very shy and doesn't talk much, but I think she has a crush on my big brother Spike!" she said, giggling and covering her mouth with her paw to get her mirth under control.
"Then there is my Auntie Helen, she is what they call a super hero, she can stretch like rubber, it's amazing! There is also a Seraphim in my family, Faye, she is so very sweet, I hope you can meet her one day. She talks about the other Seraphim she met a few days ago, a male I think. We also have Nitemares in my family, but they aren't mean or anything, especially Adjo, I really think you would like him! In fact, I think you and your brother might like the 'Bachelor Buddies!' It's what we call the single males in our family, that and they are all best friends! Oh, and you should meet my Auntie Gypsy! She is a winged Kitsu, but sometimes she gets mistaken for an Angelic. Her son is one of the 'Bachelor Buddies' and he can be quite loud! We have regular Kitsu's as well, Aegis, Miki, Balen, Pika and Mami. Mami is pregnant right now, and everyone is helping to take care of her!" She didn't realize she was going on and on about her family, but she just loved them so.
"But I guess I am saving the best for last, my siblings. There is my big brother Spike, if you ever meet my daddy, Nunzio, you will understand why he is so big, both my daddy and my brother are big. In fact, they are bigger then you and your brother! Then there is my sister, Cera, she is the tomboy of the group and so stubborn and bossy, but I love her to bits! Then there is my sister, Iulie! She's very small and she can't talk, but I love her the most because we would play under our daddy's wings when we were babies!" she said, smiling at the thought of her large family.

The male smiled, resting his cheek on his forelegs as he watched her speak of her family with such beautiful emotion. One paw still dipped in the water, one paw taking advantage of having moved to continue to lightly touch the tip of her paw as long as she would let them remain that way. Family was clearly part of her. "They sound wonderful." His tails swished, reveling in the feeling each time they touched hers. "Can't wait for you to introduce me to them."
There was a word hanging in the air. A preposition so often heralding uncomfortable things, yet oh so very useful. "But... Lucia..." beautiful beautiful Lucia! "I'd like to know your place in your family. What you like to do. Like playing with your sister under your dad's wings."
Vana smiled, vaguely remembering playing like that with his twin. Maybe not like that like that, but playing in their parents wings. They had long since lost their folks, but some memories remained.

Lucia blushed a bit, amazed that he wanted to know about her and not her family. "Well, I don't really have a place really. I sometimes have to knock my sister Cera down a few pegs when her head gets too big, or find ways to get back at the buddies when they team together to prank everyone. I love taking care of any new little ones that join in our family, whether if it's because someone was lucky enough to breed or because our human was lucky enough to find a way to bring them to our family. But I love to fly, especially on days like this. I just like the feeling of being so free, like nothing can hold me back!" she said, turning to look up at the sky, a spark going into her green eyes as she described it, her heart starting to pump fast.

That was what he wanted. To learn about her so when he dreamed of her she would be that much more real to him. Of course, there was the added bonus of Lucia's charming blush. And the shiver that went through him when she said that certain word again. Vana just adored how she said it. And how it made him feel, even though she was not talking about him, and likely never would. She was too good for playful flirts like he & his brother. Not to mention her father and brother would likely kil him. Aear nearly had taken the twins apart in 'paternal?' protectiveness upon hearing they'd met Seer -and the sailor was only a little bigger than the twins. Nunzio & Spike sounded much larger. But he could take her words spoken and in his dreams rearrange them and hear them said to him in her sweet voice.
Maidhfinden would never have to know. And neither would she.
He chuckled softly, maw curling into a wide grin, blue eyes sparkling again to see her so happy. "There's a girl. Much better. Keep thinking happy things. When you smile your beauty just shines."
