"Did I say acting?" Terasu feigned innocence while ignoring her snort. Of course the other was strong, and he was quite aware thanks to past events. With a shrug of his shoulders,he waved his paw lazily. "Well of course. I mean, you are a girl after all." Attempts to hidehis chuckle were difficult.
He furrowed his brows as Charity was replaced with Ed beside him. "So long as you give fair warning." That'd be just.....awkward to talk to someone who was not the real person. "Don't you have to know what one looks like to become them?" Since when did she see Ed?

'Edward' wrinkled his nose at the girl comment. She might be a girl.. yes... but she wasn't exactly the most girly type. More like a tomboy, Charity is.
"Fair enough" she said to his wishes of being warned in advance when she shifted. She could deal with that... after all.. she had no reason to trick him, and hopefully that wouldn't change. "Yeah, and some form are easier than others." The coatless version of Edward atesting to the fact that Ed hadn't been wearing it when she'd seen him and she didn't know the details of his automail either, which had been covered by his pants and overshirt. Thus if one was to look.. it would be a metalless, Fullmetal.

"That's good to hear.Gives meless reason to bite." Terasu sat back and curled his tails around his feet to analyze the skill. Not all details were aquired for, be it because of view or skill. Either way, the result made Ed look like any other kitsu. All limbs flesh. Such ability made Terasu eager to ask her to clone his form, but his mind was nagging him some more. "Did you happen to come across Ed recently? I haven't seen him in sometime." Hopefully, nothing happened to distraught the 'brother'. He was already in quite the tight spot between his own beliefs and those of what his friends may think.

Charity's form shifted back to her own, and brows raised inquisitively. "You mean the pipsqueak?" she asked with little emotion. That being the name her father usually refered to Ed as... her father was somewhat obsessive in his pursuit to make that teen's life miserable. She didn't really care either way. "You know him?" Huh.. who would have thought.
"We had an encounter, yes." However, if Terasu knew him, perhaps going into details wouldn't be all that wise... atleast voluntarily. If he asked, she would tell him like it is.

"Well yeah, since we were kits." Pipsqueak could be anyone, but her shifting had narrowed the nickname to Ed. Though, Terasu prefered Et instead. "You could call us brothers, somewhat." Times had shifted though, and Terasu wasn't too sure if that bond still held. At least as strongly. Especially now with what he knew of the feelings broken with Lily. Too many things going on to feel much else.
"The last time there was an encounter, it was quite unenjoyable." He gave her a look speaking of that time, but shook his head all the same. Bringing it up still bothered him. Green eyes went to the floor hesitantly. "Just tell me, is he alright?"

Charity stopped in her tracks and gave Terasu a hard look, although not angry. Her muzzle turned downward in a sharp frown. "If you know them, then I'm sure you're aware of how my father feels about him." Surely he had to understand that she had a certain loyalty to her father.
"It was my father's idea to approach him, and he allowed me to come along." Her look became one of scrutiny, "Do you really want to know?" She knew he probably wouldn't like it, and she was giving him fair warning. It wasn't that she was entirely opposed to what happened, nor agreed with it... Charity was rather indifferent.

His breath paused in his throat at her hard gaze, not all too pleased. A stiff nod. "I'm aware of his hate; no need to repeat it." All cheer fell from his face at the topic. As far as he was concerned, Envy was someone he'd wish would just dissappear. End of story.
Ears pinnedback knowing thatsaid sinwas presentwhen they saw Ed. Notgood. He refused to lookup, conflict burning his thoughts. Too many events had happened that he had just now heard of; too many to order up and understand the timing. Just where was Ed? "Don't....give me details. Just yes or no. Is he alright?"And he hoped his terms of being alright were the same as Charities'.

Charity was stonefaced again, although there was a slight falter at seeing Terasu's own turmoil over the subject. Green tails flicked, "Physically... probably." As far as emotionally... well... she had no idea, but the guy seemed in rough shape when they got there.. and even moreso when they left. Charity hadn't really batted an eye. A paw lifted to her lower lip... and while it might seem like she was thinking about something... which she was... it was also where Edward had bit her. Although it had long since healed, her frown deepened.

Her answer at least left him the comfort that Ed was alive. His head remained bowed and he closed his eyes, looking as if resting, if not for his ears being perked. He didn't know what he'd achieve in this location, but he could try. They were already deep in the woods, so no sound could be heard. And his sensitive nose found nothing either. "Damn." His maw etched in a frown and he kept his eyes shut, determined for anything. One ear teetered as he heard Charity shift. "What's up?" His voice stayed flat in his efforts, brows still knit. It was a small sound, too short to be that of lounging or standing.

Charity blinked and looked back at Terasu with a smirk, "Nothing... that brother of yours is a stubborn little runt." She would probably say a few more things, but she had enough tact not to voice all her thoughts. After all.. she liked Terasu, she wouldn't be here if she didn't.. and well... no sense in getting into bad relations if she could avoid it.
"I wouldn't worry about it... I'm sure he can handle himself." ... Maybe.

Hmmm, that was true. Stubborn and small were Ed's specialty. Terasu heaved a sigh, not finding any information through his nose or ears. Perhaps that was why his mom was late to meet him. At least....he hoped that was the case. One eye winked open. "I suppose." For now, he'd have to be content knowing he was alive. "Thanks. For being honest, that is." The other eye opened, and he turned his head to the direction of the lake. He'd need a good drink for his worries.

Charity shrugged at his words and thanks, not really being sure how to respond... so she didn't. Instead, she turned and padded towards the lake, able to smell the water from where they were. It wasn't long before she broke the clearing and was standing by the shore... and actually not far from the incident that they'd just spoken of.

Following behind,he soon caught full sight of the lake. Not the same, but might as well have been with the similiar size. He crouched down and lapped up some cool water, savoring the taste. With a wipe to his maw,he stood and moved back near Charity. An expressionless glance here, a blank look there. "Well, learn to swim already." And without time or warning, he butted her shoulder and sent her in the water with a grin.

Huh? And then it happened... Charity was pushed into the lake without warning. At first there was shock and rapid flailing in the somewhat shallow water she had stumbled and fallen into. Its damn COLD... and then... OMG... she's WET. Then with a burst of speed, Charity started back out and past Terasu to crouch nearby.. wide and teeth clenched, her fur sopping wet. Once she realized she was fine, a glare was shot in Terasu's direction.
"What the hell kind of swimming lesson is THAT?!" Oh.. she would get back at him for that, be sure of it... but likely when he least expected it.

Terasu barely had time to blink before Charity blurred passed him. But that flailing hadn't escaped his eye, and he bust into laughter. He turned and attempted to stifle his chuckles at the sight of the soaked kitsu. Really now, the tough and too cool Charity in such a state? Priceless. Paws lifted up to defend himself, despite his wide grin. "It's called survival, duh.You gotta be on your toes for things." Sage-like nod.
