"I... Suppose." His nose wrinkled slightly as he glanced down at the ground beneath his hooves. He couldn't exactly explain the way he felt about Crowley's actions beyond being completely against them on principle. The rest had quickly become a matter of wondering if he would ever see the other stallion again should he find some mare to settle with (not that he could ever imagine Crowley settling for one mare...).
He liked the idea of never seeing the dark stallion again far less than he liked the idea of seeing him... Even if seeing him meant arguing with him.

"See. There's a reason the two of you are friends" She couldn't fathom what it was having never met this Crowley and with how little Az said about him but there had to be a reason. Just as there was a reason she was with Remy and a reason Dodger and Tony were friends and a reason that Wadi had made a friend of that winged stallion.
She nudged his nose with hers and smiled. "Think of it this way. If he were not around to get on your nerves you life wouldn't be nearly as eventful."

"I am certain that I could find something other than arguments to occupy my time. I have, afterall, found a rather good conversation here, haven't I?" His brow lofted slightly. Nevermind that his life had been dull lately without the dark stallion in it.
Great Spirits, had he actually thought that?
He gave his head a light toss. "Enough of that though... Tell me more of yourself. Your family sounds most interesting."

"I'm sure you two don't argue constantly." Just like against appearances she knew Nuka and Atsila couldn't' argue constantly either. She doubted the tan stallions convictions could have held up against a daughter of Remy's if that were the case.
"What would you like to know? I'm afraid i've never thought highly enough of myself to do anything resembling boasting." She wouldn't know where to start with that sort of conversation.

"I am... A collector of tales and stories, so to speak. A boast rarely makes a good story." He nickered softly as he smiled. Had boasts made good stories he would have filled his memory with some of the many obnoxious tales he'd heard over time rather than the ones that seemed more like fables. "How did you come to be with this stallion of yours?"

"Boats make wonderful stories as long as you know them to be nothing more than that." She liked hearing Remy's overblown stories just as much as their children had when they were foals. It was all silly nonsense but it was entertaining.
"That is a ... long story." She smiled softly. "And slightly complicated but i guess i could tell you if you have the time?"

He paused for a good, long moment before turning to her with a smile, "... Madame, I have all the time in the world."

"Well then i suppose i can give you the story." She made herself comfortable and began to tell the story of how she'd met Remy and eventually found herself the mother of his second set of children and his mate.

He listened attentively, asking small questions and making comments along the way. When she was finished he smiled. "It sounds as if, despite the bridges you crossed to get there, you have a fine mate and a fine family... And a wonderful story."

"I'd have to agree." Remy had his downsides but she loved him anyway. At least she was confident that his tail chasing days were done and that even if he did flirt occasionally he would stay with her.
"I should introduce you to some of my boys. They could use a bit of culture that isn't their father"

"That would be delightful." He nodded as he smiled. It would be good to meet a family from these parts and possibly gather stories from all of them. "... I would offer to introduce you to Crowley in return but I'm not all that certain how wise that would be... Or, in truth, where I could even find him to do so. He only seems to appear when least wanted or expected."

"Rather useful isn't he then." She laughed and shook her head. "That seems to be how most stallions are until you tie them down. Always wandering around and never where you want them to be when you want them"
Turning she nodded her head in the direction of her home. "If you would like, i am sure at least a few of my boys are around somewhere."

"I'm afraid not... Wonderfully unuseful though." He snorted softly, trying not to laugh although his smile was bright enough that he may as well have been chuckling. "I would like that very much, Rogue. It would be a pleasure."
