Much fun as that would be, I think I'd have just gotten myself kicked out of the gym class for that. mrgreen Now, while getting out of gym would have been fun, the things that came with it would not have been.

And everyone assumed I sucked at sports so they never gave me the ball.

Nobody needed to "assume" I sucked at sports. I did. And I proved it. There were only a couple things I was mediocre at and when we got to them everybody was so used to me being little more than a space filler nobody would bother much with me even on those things. Yeah, I'd get picked last for gym class usually even after the physically and mentally handicapped kids. sweatdrop

If I ever get married, it's going to be a VERY weird wedding. First off, there's a very high chance I won't be wearing a dress (if I feel like being a good girl I'll wear a kimono), second off...the "real" reception will be short (if I have one), the real party starts after that XP

But the only way I would ever get married is if it was for a green card. And then I would make the person pay DEARLY to get me to marry them.

my mother knows that if in any way she badger me into an arranged marriage (not that uncommon, my family is traditional), I'm gonna make the guy's life a living hell.
got proposed few times, ran away, they were creepy... or rather, the thought of marrying them was creepy, almost eloped with married a girl, didn't work out, somewhat glad in the end, maybe just commitment-phobic,
quite certain I'll end up with my first ex, eventually. ninja

I don't recall hearing that one myself, no. Though the idea of commitment does not confuse me, the purpose of it does. I really seriously don't get what it does that you didn't/couldn't have before(legal benefits not counting, those things are a separate issue that people stuck onto it that never should have been inseparably bound up like this in the first place) other than offer you more problems to deal with if anything goes wrong. With that in mind, I just don't get why so much of society wants it. confused (*pokes Psycho's nano word count* Looks like I'm not the only one behind on that here. Darn my schedule being insanely busy every November.) xp

The reason society wants it so much is so that that irresponsible people do not bounce from mate to mate spawning. That does not work out too well for the government.
