The gargoyle fell to the ground as the ice shattered, squealing angrily. He managed to get back in the air with a few determined pumps of his wings. But he was drained from the Dark spell. He would have to rely on his claws now. Darting forward at the cold woman, he laid into into her with his claws, intent on wreaking as much damage as possible. His small brain was filled with the urge to kill these stupid things that had caged him and put him in the bright light.

It had been almost 13 years since this boy had stepped foot in Agartha.
Strangely though, he was back to fight in a small tournament.
Since the latest hunt was a small one to Virgil and he had no interest in it at all.
So, he figured this little tournament would help spread his name once again.
His cloak trailing behind him, he found his way into the owner's office.
It felt small to him since he lived in the desert for a while.
Knocking on the open door, he leaned against the doorway.
"I'm here to enter the tournament."
A drop of poison dropped from his sword as he stood there.
His face was covered, but his eyes definately said not to give him a wrong answer.

Esildo looked up in slight irritation as the man interrupted him. His irritation was slightly put on hold at the intimidating aura the man was exuding. Still...Esildo had not risen to this rank without a lot of guts. So while he would watch most of his words, there was nothing but sarcasm in his tone. "Well, aren't you in luck? We seem to have some spots open." His tone changed to a brisk, business like snap, "Name." The balding man noted something dripping from the sword. His brows furrowed at the bother of having to clean it later. He had no respect for these warriors, all brawn and no brain. They were mere pawns in the whole scheme of things. And they would always be fodder for whatever cause those in charge happened to be pushing.

Virgil's hand was set upon the hilt of his sword just in case.
He was taught to expect a lot of things in the world.
Vigil didn't want to deal with any smart-a** like him right now.
At least he was able to still sign up for the tournament.
Loosening the grip on his sword, Virgil stood up straight.
" 'Scorpion', from Gaaj'Dior."
Looking down at the poison that hit the ground, it sizzled a bit.
Smiling to himself, Virgil stepped out of the door.
"May not want to touch it."
Suddenly, a small hole burned through the floor, about the size of a quarter.
"Or you'll lose your finger."
Walking back up some steps, he overlooked the battle currently going on.
A summoner would be fun to fight.

Esildo sneered, though he didn't particularly feel brave. Stupid guy. Writing down the name he was told, he motioned towards the dome. "You're welcome to go watch the battle. The summoner is in the middle of Round One." His smile turned a little nasty. "You may want to take notes. I personally oversaw the capture and transportation of these monsters. We lost three men just so that the crowd can have a little sport." His eyes gleamed as he leaned closer. "I suspect you're going to need all the luck you can get, poisoned blade or not." He waved absently with an inkstained hand. "Now shoo. I've got things to do without your damn blade ruining my floor."

(Let' just say that he freshly dipped it in poison just for this. ^^)
Virgil stopped and narrowed his eyes at the man.
Each word he spit out of his mouth was becoming more and more annoying.
Crossing his arms underneath his cloak, Virgil glared at the man.
"You lost three men, huh? Were you too much of a coward to do it yourself?"
Drawing his sword and whipping out to have it a few inches from the man's face, Virgil's expression didn't change.
"What do you think I rely on? Luck and using my head. Unlke some idiots around here."
He sheathed his sword and walked away from the man.
Finding his way to the stands, Virgil leaned over the railing.
Maybe the summoner would entertain him until his turn.

shiva looked weakened and dythnix stared down the beast thinking of what to do........he came to the concusion that beating it with more ice would weaken it drastically. "Shiva take aim and drop another heavenly strike."once again saying this without expression and apparently no feelings whatsoever......

A figure in sturdy leather clothes riding a hovering magitek bike, stops at the long road leading to the stadium. he's long bike crossed in the middle of those empty streets so he can stare at the monument. Long time since the first time he first fought here, he takes his helmet as memories came back quickly as he stared at the gargantuan structure of Agartha's stadium, Gaia's biggest and best equipped stadium ever created.
Putting his helmet back on he dashes with blinding speed through the streets to reach the front gates.
Arriving at the stadium he hops the bike and walks the tall stairs to the front doors, heroes of the past and present immortalized as godly figures of steel adorning the stadium's entrance and hallway. His foot steps echoing as he walks his way into the inner area of the stadium, seeing that a fight is already taking place, he took off his helmet, shook his long hair and let the long ears stretch a bit as he looked around, spotting a dear old friend.
"Esildo!" he shout from across the seats to a chubby little man. He smiled while resting the helmet under his arm at the waist. "Long time no see, you crystal ball!" he said laughing loosely. "How's Angela and the kids?"

The gargoyle began squealing again as the stupid woman made it cold again. He was starting to feel the effects of this battle. Beginning to become enraged, he charged again. Claws bared, he ripped into Shiva with a malicious glee, pulling flesh from muscle and muscle from bone. Granted, his claws were only so big. And the most he did was shred. But it still had to hurt. And when he finally zipped away -- wings heaving with the effort -- he was satisfied with the damage he'd done.

shiva was too badly injured to continue......so dythnix dismissed her.Still no expression he withdrew his katana and began attacking with it....

miss.....even in it's weakened state it still dodged him with excelence.......dythnix's swings cut through the air with no effect whatsoever.......
