Lady Pyre
And I think every town has SOME restaurant run by a "d**k." If not "d**k," then "Richard" or "Ricardo" or something that people are just going to substitute "d**k" for and laugh.
The guy's birth name is d**k.

I never had the guts to order the d**k's Curlies. D: D: D:

I just thought of a New Mexico specific: d**k's cafe. Home of the 3 pound d**k's Burger. D: D: D:

LMFAO.

I lol'd hard.

I don't think Rally's is Michigan only...
~?!?!?!?!

I know.
It's called Checkers in the South.
But I just thought that it was weird that they don't have a Rally's in California.

In Rochester, NY we have a regional diner food called the Garbage Plate. It was started at one diner called Nick Tahou's though now most diners and delivery places have some kind of variation on it. They're 2 hamburger patties with melted cheese and hot sauce on top. It's served on top of a plate of mac salad, and some fries on the side. The patties sometimes are substituted with either hot dogs or sausage. People like eating them after a late night after a night out drinking.

One reason I love it is because it reminds me of being at Rutgers University in 'Jersey and eating at the Grease Trucks late at night. I still sometimes miss the Grease Trucks.

I've seen a Rally's around o_0

Though not since I moved, but if we're thinking of the same chain, it's the fast food place with the chef holding a thumbs up, right? It's predominant color is red too

So I just moved back down to where I'm going to school and was doing some grocery shopping the other day, when lo and behold, I looked up to see...the grocery store sells your Vernors shtuff. ;o

Almost bought some just for the hell of it, but no one in the house I'm in really likes ginger ale that much, and we're poor. So I bought Dr Pepper instead. *shrug*

I just thought I'd share that, though.

It's a checkered flag... red, white, black colors....

I've seen no chef, evar. There isn't a mascot I think, other than the flag...

Big white letters with a red background...

From my experience from eating at several Rally's over the years.
They're a patio only restaurant, and have two dive up windows on either side of the building.

It's sad because the Northwest lacks grease trucks, or any analogue of them. No pita truck, no burrito wagon, nothing. It really sucks when you're drunk/hungover/whatever at 2am and there is nothing to eat. I mean, there is Dennys and the like but nothing conveniently on a street corner or something like you would appreciate.

I keep thinking I need to get something like it. I feel a deep need for it to exist around here.
