I don't think any of you will have to wait very long for get a new HP-style fix... I think she'll write another series right off the bat. Just vbecause she wrote an epilogue, doesn't mean she won't write what happened between things- or that she won't go back and write either more about Hogwarts (then in the past or 'now' post DH) in the future...
...maybe instead of re-hashing the HP series, she'll write about the other schools... notice how much time she's spent in the northern parts of europe? I suspect you'll see a book out, about another magical school. wink
Or maybe another house, instead of just the HP plotline... who knows?
I just hope they don't go for the 'from another point of view' thing. ugh.

I just wish they didn't die... Lupin and Tonks... Those were my two fave charries, apart from the awesome little Dobby... Too bad he died... [Talking about the movies] Oh damn, Did you see what Lupin looks like... He has a frigging moustache...! -tackles him to the ground and rips off his moustache- And short hair...! Ewwww! I think Snape would of looked better if he looked like what he was supposed to... With facial hair... -tackles him to the ground and tapes Lupin's moustache to Snape- And Sirius, he wasn't supposed to have facial hair either. And Voldymort has like greyish eyes, what happened to the red eyes thing??

What I really <3'd was Ron's path through the book. It satisfied me in a lot of ways.
What I hate, however, was how much satisfaction the book gave. It tied up everything, it closed all doors, and not only that, it tried to give every frick'n fanbase something to digest nicely. It was like a cigarette after sex; no matter how satisfying, it's still terrible for you!!
JK never had too much of my respect, but watching her bow to the wants of the fans kinda makes it worse. I wish she had been strong enough to take the book out of people's expectations. I can count the things in that book that I didn't expect: 1. Luna's father being an assface. 2. The George's ear loss. 3. Harry Resurrecting from the dead like Jesus Christ. 4. Dobby's death. 5. Tonk's death. Out of all the plot points in the book, I think five suprises is a pretty sad number, don't you?
arrow to clarify, yes I did believe that the dursleys would forgive harry, and I did suspect fred's death. sad but true.
P.S. Someone back there called Remus Lupin "John Lupin". @_@?

I was greatly please with DH. It made me cry(I mean WHY did Fred and Dobby have to die?!) but it also made me laugh(GO MRS. WEASLEY!). Kreacher also surprised me, but I'm glad that he is nice. Never trust a house-elf with a butcher knife.
I did suspect Fred's death right when I read that George's ear was blown off. I always knew something would happen to the Weasley family, but I had always anticipated Percy's death, after he apoligized of course, but never one of the twins. George's ear being blown off revealed to me that something major would happen to Fred, I just didn't expect death.
Maybe Fred could have lost his ear as well!

Okay, when I go to see the sixth one in theaters, I better see exactly what happens in the book. Because, if I don't, I'm going to stand up and Scream 'LIES!' at the screen.. Or.. I'd sit up front, and whnever something that didn't happen, or was changed in anyway, I'd throw a handful of popcorn and say 'Pyww' every time I throw some..

--Spoiler--
arrow I found the deathly Hallows as a let down. Exspecially compared to the sixth book. I wish what happend was that Harry really died and Fred came back to life, it just would have been a better ending! I felt that this book was just a slap on the face for me following the serise! heart

What was with the Epilouge? Albus Severus?
Did you here JKR is considering writing a novel to continue on the Harry Potter series? He wouldn't be the main charachter, but still. Can you believe that? After her current adult novel, of course.

My thoughts on the Hallows was that it seemed like every time Harry got into trouble, he passed out, and Hermione saved him/them. I read it somewhere close to 8 or nine times, but I got bored with it after a while.
