I kept my mouth shut, refusing to say anything. "Oh, tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk, and I was hoping we could get something out of you about him," he chuckled under his breath, "Ah well, I guess you will just have no choice but to yell me about the others, you know, Alphonse, Lillith, Franky, Mallory, Lance, oh and Alexia, of course," he smiled at the sound of Miss Alexia's name. "You never know what could happen if you don't tell me, and why take that risk?" I straightened in the chair, glaring at him. "They are all safe and sound." I said. I didn't know for sure, but I hoped this was true. He popped an almond into his mouth and smiled, "Are you sure?"

Alex smiled widely showing the first real emotion since the ordeal had started. She climbed to the top of the shaft and unlocked the trap door. She had to push hard for it to ground open. The shaft led into what use to be an old well but had since compassed leaving only a roundish pile of stones. Her head peeked over the pile and she could see Frankie not far away. "Frank!" She called in hushed tones. She held tightly to the latter feeling as if she would fall.

Franky heard the call and ran forward towards the pile. "Well hello. Sorry I took so long. May I tell you the story once inside? It is quite interesting." He caught his breath and attempted at climbing the stones.

Alexia gave a quite laugh and climbed down the latter. “Lock the door behind you.” She said and jumped the rest of the way to the dirt floor. Even if she was still in her night gown she seemed very confident now and gave no worry towards her appearance. Her skin seemed it give off a new glow from her sudden happiness. “Whisper please. “ She reminded everyone gently.

Franky opened the door and walked in. He shut the door and locked it. He whispered to Alexia. "Someone could of followed me here." Franky whispered.

"It is a terrible situation. But you are not among the dead. That is something to be glad of, non? Perhaps you will reunite with your parents and leave this place, find somewhere you can live in peace." It was not a bad idea. Often he wondered why he had not taken Mallory and gotten out years ago. There had to be safer places to raise a child. Alphonse shelved that thought; for the moment he just hoped to keep Lillith from spiraling down the dark path of despair.
Mallory rose from the cot and stepped forward, waiting for Franky to appear. It was troubling him to look around and notice how many were not with them. He wanted to see a face added, not taken away. He gave a small smile when Franky did enter and continued to smile even though Franky's words were not at all encouraging.

Al shuttered and stepped closer to him. "Do you know where she is?" She asked her voice showing a hint of the worry that ravaged her mind. Alexia put her hands against his shoulders. "Please say yes." She put her arms around her neck and hugged him tightly. "Please?" Al only held him so close so that they would not be too loud in the small room. But having him there was also a small comfort.

Lillith shook her head as her face went serious. "No, I can't leave." she whispered, her voice stronger and stubborn sounding. "I made a promise and I have to keep it. This is my city... my home. I can't let those... those monsters to continue to tear it up."

Alphonse smiles and moves to sit beside Lillith rather than kneeling in front of her. "Good. Very good. Your expression just now, it is much more fitting for you. It shows they have yet to defeat your spirit. There is nothing more important than that." He chose not to ask about Lillith's promise; it sounded like a rather personal matter. Instead he found his eyes on Mallory again. The boy's smile looked strained, now that he thought about it. But what could he really expect? It was a stressful spot to be in. Still, he would speak with Mallory later.

I looked into his eyes, trying hard to dig into that soal of his. "You can't know where they are, I don't even know where they are." I said this holding up my head, but there was no confidence in my voice. The man took a phone-like device from his pocket and held it to his lips. "Send him in," he said. Moments later Asher was in the room, saluting to my kidnapper. "We have a location, sir." he said, paying no mind at all to me. "Ash...?" I whispered.
"Sir, I will be ready to go as soon as necessary. No back-up, some of these people have the wisdom of a hard criminal." I looked over at Dawn, who had the expression of a lost bat flying without it's eyes. I nodded toward her, as if that made any difference. "Good. No information from the girl, she's not the talkative type, you know. I will have a cab for you in fifteen minutes, no later." General Semare instructed. I walked out of the room and felt something wet trickle down my cheek.

"At least someone gave me a smile. Ms. Alexia, do you want to hear the story? It is important. Mallory!" Franky hugged him and patted the boy on the back and stepped away. "Wonderful to see you!"

Lexi nodded. "Johnny, Get Lance." She said and one of the men nodded to her, He closed his eyes and put his hands to his temples. After a minute, there was a knock on the wall and she opened it to allow Lance in.
He looked out of breath but glade to be back. He closed the door tightly behind him and looked around. His eyes landed on Mallory and he practically jumped the boy. "Sweetheart, How I have missed you!" He used a loud whisper and kissed the top of his head.
Lexi Looked back to Frankie and Bit her lip. "Alright, but make it quick we need to move on. Even If you weren’t followed it's only a matter of time.” She looked at Lance and chuckled he had always been the most affectionate of the boy and he never ceased to stop his intrusions of other's personal space.

"You as well, my friend." Mallory replies to Franky with a hug of his own. Alexia's words had not even registered in his mind yet when Lance walked into the room. Mallory barely had time to even look before Lance was upon him. Sweetheart, was it? This made Mallory's cheeks pink as a flamingo. "Was there trouble? Are you alright? You look tired." Mallory spoke all at once though he did at least remember to whisper.

Lance put a lone finger to Mallory's lips, keeping him quite. "Shhh, I am fine and so are you, that is all that matters, unless you care to take a nap with me?" He snickered. His eyes dancing with joy and excitement. He had completely overlooked the fact that Mallory’s father was in the same room.
"There shall be no napping for you Lance, we will be moving again soon." Alexia smiled happy that her friend was reunited one more time with his most resent love.
Lance Sighed "As you wish." He rolled his eyes then looked back down at Mallory, "My apologies cutie." He hugged him tighter and plunked him up to hold him like a small child against his chest.

Mallory was simply never going to get used to being plucked off his own two feet as though he were full of feathers. The surprise and sudden disorientation made him cling to Lance. "You are completely impossible. And utterly shameless." Mallory, of course, had not forgotten his father's presence. He glances toward Alphonse, hoping his attention was elsewhere but fully expecting he was watching the show.
Alphonse softly chuckled as he continued to watch Mallory and his new friends. A nap, indeed. Not that Mallory couldn't use a good... 'nap'. But it was hardly the time and place for that.
