Before he could react, Seth found his hand grabbed and he was pulled to the rocks to avoid the legendary that likely weighed several tons. Raion leaping out of the way, but Pele taking a blow and staggering back.
Like a fish out of water, Kyogre's destiny seemed uncertain as it wiggled about. One of its large fins slapping the shore and causing the ground to shake even more, before it slid back into the water. However, a Metagross was tossed onto its back. Komashi, still perched atop the large legend, wheeled around with a snarl and shot a blast of powerful flame at the steel type. Just before a surge of water from Surf slammed into Kyogre and washed over it. With a howl, the puppy Pokemon slid off the slick back of the whale and fell into the water. The beam from the pokeball missing her. She thrashed around in the water for a few moments and then slipped under.
More electricty and other attacks wracked Kyogre's form. The water beast suddenly dove to escape the onslaught, and for a moment all was still. Until Kyogre suddenly surfaced again, and with a sweep of its tail, sent a massive wave of water towards the shore in an Aqua Tail that would likely hit all.
Seth's eyes went wide as he saw the wave coming and quickly enveloped his Pokemon. Sweeping the Typhlosion off her feet and in his direction. "Pele!" He shouted, before a wall of water and a large fire Pokemon slammed into him... pinning the elite against a jagged rock. He felt bones snap, and his cry of pain was muffled by water that threatened to choke him.

Liam didn't know Alexander and at the moment he wasn't in the mood to get to know him, righteous as his intentions were. "What? No! THOSE ARE MY POKEMON OUT THERE! JUST BECAUSE YO-" His tirade was cut short by the sight of the Kyogre being enveloped in a wave that likely only tickled it but brought the Growlithe on its back into the water. "NO!" he cried, practically leaping towards the water, but his progress was quickly stopped by a wall of water, slamming him back against the rocks he had been leaning against. He was the furthest from the legendary at the time, so the force of the water was't much more than a strong wave, but he could still feel small stone on the cave's wall digging into his back. His breath held in his throat as he surveyed the large wave for any sign of the Growlithe. After it subsided, he leaped into the water, oblivious to the raging whale that was getting closer and closer to him now. He wasn't about to let another Pokemon get hurt on his watch and if asked he could always say he was trying to 'retrieve the orb.'

Mau raised his arms as the massive pokemon lurched onto the shore. The wash of water that came with it sent him stumbling back as rocks and debris rained down, shaken loose from the cave's ceiling. Aki had safely avoided the attack, having been in the water, but Mai wasn't as lucky. Though the ivysaur was running as fast as her stumpy legs could carry her, the Kyogre still managed to shove her down. The Ivysaur slid across the ground. The water hadn't done so much as made the ground slick and mushy. Shaking it off she reared back for another volley of attacks.
Having done what he was ordered, Aki watched as the puppy slipped into the water. And soon, the funny little human he remembered from ages ago dove in too. SWIMMING PARTY! Aki happily paddled over to where they were, swimming under to retrieve them. Humans couldn't breath under water, that was silly. And the puppy was a fire type, so that had to hurt, being in water like this.
Spotting the human, his arms around the fire type, Aki grabbed the back of the boy's uniform in his mouth and rocketed back to the surface of the water.

The beam missed Komashi, and Faleen let out a noise of surprise watching the pup fall into the water. "Sharpedo!" She called to her Pokemon to get his attention. the brute quite steamed over this battle, wanting to take a chunk out of that Kyogre. She pointed to the water where the Growlithe vanished.
She couldn't get her order out though, before the large legendary suddenly used an attack that threw a wall of water that swept over the entire team. the dark blond grunt staggered back a couple of steps as the water hit the ledge they were on and sprayed forcefully upward and over them. the force of the water stung, Faleen threw her hands up to try and shield her face from it, but in her moment of distraction she found her boot slipping on the wet rock, and she fell, hitting the ground and sliding to the ledge "s**t s**t s**t!" she gasped, trying to grab onto wet rock before she fell off.

As if in one fluid motion, a large Aqua Tail attack rushed out from the Kyogre, shooting out towards everyone in a large cascade. It hit Isadora like a bag of bricks and violently pushed her back against the rocky cave wall. She coughed and sputtered as she gasped for air against the onslaught of water. Her Pokemon were swept back as well, and both Basil and Iditarod struggled against the wave. Iditarod quickly found her master and, with her powerful jaws, lifted Isa up onto her back and doggy-paddled up to the surface. Isadora gasped for air as Basil slowly swam up next to them.
"Dohn't worry about me, Iditarod, get to dry land! An' for Arceus's sake, keep attahcking!" Isa released her grip on the Arcanine and let her get to higher ground while she fought to stay upright with Basil.

Omega was still dazed from the shock of landing on the Kyogre. He didn't recover in time to dodge the flames of the crazed Growlithe. Squealing in pain, the burn was soothed by the Surf that washed over him, but it also washed him off the already slippery surface. The heavy Metagross was knocked into the lake, and weighing several tons, sank to the bottom.
"Omega!" Leonard cried out. He forgot about the Kyogre and the fighting around him. He ran forward towards his Pokemon, managing to get close to the edge of the lake before another wave of water rose up from the surface.
Fortunetly, his Metagross was flung onto land by the Aqua Tail. Unfortunetly, Leonard was flung across the room, water filling his lungs and the sheer force nearly ripping his body apart. He didn't land into the wall, but into the massive bulk of his Snorlax. The fat Pokemon cushioned the impact some but Leonard was too dazed to move or speak. Almost unconcious?
Besides him, a dark blue rag flopped onto the ground.

Merry, by and large unthreatened from her place in the air, continued to launch her assault. Her trainer stood near Claire, keeping an eye on Isadora as well and making a mental note to ensure her safe conveyance to the outside when they departed. It was really a mess, fighting a legendary pokemon... Lucas was momentarily immensely relieved that he had never been sent on any legendary collection missions during his time in Galactic, a relief that was was shoved aside and smashed to pieces as debris tumbled from the upper walls of the cavern and a massive wave encroached upon the Rockets.
"s**t."
His protective nature seized him, and Lucas grabbed Claire, placing himself between her and the crashing onslaught of water. He wrapped an arm over her head to protect it from any of the falling debris and braced himself for the water's impact. He surrendered to the Aqua Tail's influence, allowing himself to be swept away in its currents while keeping Claire firmly in his grasp. He was tossed in the water, barely managing to turn himself and his smaller charge around in time to slam himself against a jutting rock in place of her.
On the bright side, they were no longer subjected to the wave's whims. On the down side, "Shhiiiiiiiit." Headache couldn't begin to describe it.

Alexander did understand what Liam meant but he also knew it was dangerous to bee too close to the fight. He was proven right not a heart beat later when Kyogre released an Aqua Tail that sent him tumbling head over heels, having had not been prepared for it. He was slammed into a wall that left him breathless but what really got him was a broken piece of stalagmite was force by the water into his left leg. Once the water reseeded he was left gasping, coughing and grabbing at his pierced leg. "Son of a-!"

Maxwell didn't have time to get off another electric attack before the wave crashed into her. This time the Aggron's hulking form lay limp among the rocks and did not get up.
Nyx didn't have time to react, let alone stand up, before the aqua tail's tidal wave crashed into her and swept her further along the rocky floor. A long string of coughing and gasping sounded out from the tiny Agent's prone form when the wave receded. What was worse was that Nyx was now out of pokemon...

Having found and grasped the Growlithe, Liam found himself underwater with a raging beast and quickly running out of oxygen. Fortunately, the water itself seemed to be helping him as he was pulled out of the water by... Aki! Liam remembered th bubbly Vaporeon playing with one of his Apricorns in the kitchen and smiled. There was a good reason for making friends, after all! "Viral!" he coughed as he reached the surface and the Metagross was hovering above him at once. "Take..." he stopped, breathing heavily, "Take this Growlithe. Don't let go of it..." Viral swooped down, clamping all four legs around the Growlithe as Liam clambered onto his back and simply fell into a prostrate position.

Ugh, she hadn't felt so completely and utterly useless in so long. It really was a horrible feeling, but she had grudgingly admitted the fact - inwardly, of course - that with all of her pokemon fainted and no way to revive them, battling a legendary pokemon... There was literally practically nothing she could do. At all. That didn't stop her from wanting to help, of course, but...
...oh, s**t. Shii.. what?
One minute the floor was shaking mildly, debris starting to fall from the ceiling as a giant wave of water came rushing outward in all directions from the Kyogre's attack, and the next minute she was in someone's arms right before the wave crashed into them. A small squeak of surprise escaped her as she instinctively clung to Lucas - who else would it be? - and buried her face into his chest. The abrupt stop as Lucas slammed into the rock sent a slight shudder through her, and she ignored the fact she was absolutely soaked. She reached up to move his arm away from her head, peering up at him anxiously after his exclamation. s**t, this couldn't be good. "Lucas, are you okay?" Obviously not, but everything happened so fast, she had no idea just what exactly happened to him. Was it the wave? The rocks? Something else entirely?

One down, two - a muddied figure there, a shambling form there - Nadja tried to keep a count in her head as she scrambled nimbly but less than gracefully over the rock shelf sloping up toward the ledge, feeling for handholds in the darkness.
She heard the wall of water before she saw it, a roaring sound like the oceans of the world draining away as she made it to the rocky outcropping. The elite paused, looking back, and barely caught a yell and the dull sound of bodies scraping stone as Pele's light flickered, submerged and died.
"Regroup! Ready your Pokeballs!" Nadja shouted as the water began to die. It had to be tiring. She turned her attention back to the wavering shapes under the water. Keeping three points to the rock, the elite began to edge her way back down.
Thunder cracked and two globes of lightning, tiny by comparison, slammed into the Kyogre again as Keres continued her attack, wrapping waterlogged and drooping from the Aqua Tail.

Komashi thrashed around as she sank into the inky depths... only to have an unexpected savior. Liam's arm going around the now weakened Growlithe who barely put up a struggle. The glowing markings flickering. When they were pulled out by the Vaporeon and Komashi handed off to a Metagross.. she sputtered and coughed then slumped over in unconsciousness. The glow faded and then the blue orb reappeared... falling to the ground with a light clinking sound.
At the same moment, the red glow from Kyogre faded and a low rumble eminated it. Just before electric attacks from Seth and Nadja's Pokemon struck it, eliciting a pained roar.
Water showered down on those upon the ledge, Lance included. His vision fading as he tried to watch what was going on. However... shock, pain, and fatigue were overcoming him. He couldn't hold out any longer and he fell to his side, slipping into unconsciousness.
There was no answer from Seth though. Pele having passed out and her weight pinning him against a rock. He struggled, trying to free himself but to no avail. He was submerged as well... unable to breath and choking on water until after several moments it finally subsided. Still, the Typhlosion was crushing his chest... and a piece of sharp rock having jabbed into his back. Making it hard for him to breathe. The man gasped for breath, unable to make any other sound.

Ground level again, completely drenched with the water she hit, wind knocked from her lungs when she hit rock. completely incapable of using her body to keep her from being swept away from the wild water. It wasn't long though when something bumped against her back, and she was pushed up into the surface.
Rolling onto her side, she gasped, gagging for air and spitting up water, It took a moment to gather herself, but when she finally pushed herself to her knees, her hand reaching out to find the long dark fin of Sharpedo. her pokemon having plucked her up from the water and onto his head.
Breathing heavily, Faleen looked to the battle. "okay" she managed to speak through an exhale, a hand moving up to her stinging side, responding to Nadja's command, directing her Sharpedo to regroup, readying a ball as she had instructed.

Words. Someone was speaking words to him, but he couldn't comprehend their meaning. He replied with a groan, attempting to get a handle on his own words but failing to do so. "Ah..." He removed a trembling arm from Claire's shoulders and raised it to his head, clamping his fingers across the back of his skull. "You're... You're all right." It was meant to be a question, but he gave up attempting to right the intonation.
Merry, elsewhere in the cavern, noted her human's condition and stared aghast. A distressed chiming rang out as the little Chimecho moved herself to Lucas's side, fussing over him in a series of jingles. The noise only irritated him further, though, and he shut his eyes tightly, leaning heavily against the offending rock and compressing his posture.
Claire was okay, right? Claire had to be okay. He couldn't have failed to protect her, not now. Such thoughts were all that he could manage to keep cohesive as the world all rushed at him simultaneously. His frustration at his inability to do anything else manifested itself in the form of another pained groan.
