Wow, I didn't realize that my comments sparked such discussion! ^^
I've bought one thing at Hot Topic my entire life, despite the costume-loving drama geek in me screaming about how COOL it would be to have a dress with a corset that I would never wear. It was a very pretty shirt with long, flowy sleeves. Maybe I'll take a picture and show you guys--I LOVE this shirt. AND it was on clearance. 3nodding
I'm definitely a "buy as I see it" kind of shopper (with a preference for Kohls because my mom gets me a discount there! ^^). If it looks good on me, I'll buy it. If it looks good on my and it's CUTE, goddammit I'm sold for life. ^^ I couldn't care less about brands and s**t--actually, like Snookums, I find the GINORMOUS branding on certain clothing to be... well, tacky. Was never a fan of it.
Oh, Gracie--I'm totally not surprised that Hot Topic is owned by A&F (or Gap, or whomever). It's a packaged product.
Still funny, though. ^^

Was never a fan of it. I only have one shirt with a big logo on it, it's Nike. I'm really not a Nike fan....it just beckoned me with two very powerful forces at once: neon pink and neon orange. crying Really, though, companies should be paying US for advertising space, not the other way around. It seems like it's often the bigger the logo, the higher it costs. sweatdrop Sometimes I am attracted to brands if I see that the price is really low for it compared to normal-but still not things with logos. sweatdrop One time I was so shocked to find a Liz Claiborne skirt that was originally $80 marked down to $14 at a store that was going out of business. surprised Just the other day I found a cool shirt at Value Village, and when I looked for the price tag on the rack, I thought it said ".99", but that must've been the shirt next to it, because when I got up to the register, it was $4.99. I was upset at first, but then I noticed it was from cache, which is normally such an expensive store that I only drool in the window. xd

Last night I had like, a huge temporary boost in self esteem XD
I think all the mirrors hate me but before I went to bed I saw my reflection in the sliding glass door and I stopped cuz I was like "...<3..." I was im my boxors and my silk, black, button up PJ top and I held the back of it together a little to have it tight against my torso. I was all <3333333333 cuz I looked so damn good D": So know I am positive that mirrors make me look fat cuz they hate me :"D
