((ok im backing up a bit))
The lights went out in the main hall wile Zirino was up to his old trick. Well by tricks he means lying sideways across his seat not really trying to stay awake but kinda forced to by the incessant sounds of the band. When the lights shut off Zerino smiled. finally I can sleep. and with that he closed his eyes and started to sleep that's when a guard nudged him. "Do you have any idea what you just did?" Zireno said sitting up to look at the guard. When he heard that Grant wanted him at the main door to the hall he rolled his eyes. "Gosh, I was just getting to enjoy this a bit." Zi said getting up from his chair and making his way thought the crowd. "Will you move already. Guards do your job and make a path." The guards did so. "Finally, guards can be such idiots." Now that there was a path Zi walked more freely. That was until the floor began to glow. "What the?" He exclaimed stepping back a bit. Fascinated by the glow he looked to the guards and smirked. There was just enough light to see the guards so with a quick push and a leg out the guards went down and Zi disappeared into the crowd. What could make such a glow and how could I posses such a power? What other powers mite it grant too? Zi made his way thought the crowd to one of the stairways to the balcony. Searching the doors for one that opened Zi was unsuccessful. "Damb it."

As the brothers sought another means of escape, they spotted their middle brother apparently doing the same, "Do not waste your time Zireno, we have tried them all already," Ric informed him from behind."You look dead Zi, not enough sleep?" Cyrith teased avoiding the stern look by his eldest brother.

"...Yeah...." Zireno said to his older brother with a small sarcastic snicker before walking past him and bumping shoulders. As he reached his younger brother he looked down at him. "And its Zi, pipsqueak." Zi walked to the stairs and sat down. In a loud voice Zi shouted. "CALM DOWN EVERYONE. We're not getting out of here anytime soon." With that Zi slumped his head into his hand.

(I believe that's what he said XD and yes he's hurting my feelings crying )
"I am only half an inch shorter than you!" Cyrith spat back at his brother quietly enough so that others would not overhear, then turned to Ric, "He is always so moody when he doesn't get his nap."
"Yes, I am sure he will calm down... eventually," Ric sighed and he rubbed his shoulder then followed in suit, "Zireno, this is serious, whoever is doing this, they may be after father!"

"Maybe we should find him since everyone is distracted? Rumor is he's here and I would like to find him today."
The red head girl stepped forward and tried opening the door herself, but it didn't budge one bit. There was a plan being though and from her experiences it usually worked.
"Grog, bash down the door."
The big chunky kid in the brown robe was obviously named now and his name was short and simple; Grog. For a moment Grog stopped picking his nose and spoke with a slow tone, as if he didn't know what he was saying even.
"I don't think I can break this one; you know me and magic don't go good together."
The red head girl only pouted from Grog's lack of determination and the servant guy wasn't going to help either since he seemed to be the delicate type; most snobby servants were.
"Fine, let’s look around; if the King dies in there and we aren't there to document, we'll have to beg for the council's forgiveness and find some other work."
Grog displayed a little bit of emotion for just a second, before turning back to neutral and this time letting out a belch before picking his nose again; it was a really nasty habit.
"Shame, they had the easiest jobs with good pay, but we'll find work; maybe the new King will have a job for-"
The red head immediately interrupted Grog, quickly aiming to correct his stupidity or at least she mistaken his encouragement for stupidity. The red headed child was probably prone to thing Grog was a idiot despite how wise he actually was.
"You know royalty doesn't hire mercenaries Grog, they got those guys in armor to do their dirty work; no need for mercenary works unless it’s for the dirty jobs those sissy Knights don't want to get their hands stained with blood."
Grog started to scratch his head, trying to think of a way this could work out; if who they were looking for was really here, they wouldn't have to worry about jobs from the council for a good long time.
"If he really is here though like the reports say, we would be set for a long time, no need to watch the old guy die and we get paid! No more mercenary work, right Sylvan?"
The red headed girl was now named and she had the name Sylvan. By now it was obvious these two were mercenaries and they appeared to be hired by some sort of council to document the King's death and report back to said council. The person they were speaking of was unknown to the servant, but any royalty in the castle could very well be in danger or at least that was what the servant man thought.
"For once I agree, but he is probably in there with the others; we still got to wait...Don't you say a word either mumbo or I'll slit your throat."
The servant very well knew that term and respectfully nodded yes to the child named Sylvan and didn't really want to get involved with mercenary squabbles; as long as the people he served were paying good money.

Grant felt a strange sensation run thought his body. This made Grant pull his hand back and as he did some of the light was stuck to his hand though it faded after a few moment. Grant studied it for a moment and watched it disappear from his hand. This is no ordinary magic trick. And who would do such a thing. Just then Grant thought of the king. His eyes grew wide as he turned to the next closest door to the castle. Grant's ears shot back as he darted for the door. "All available men follow!!!" Grant shouted to the guards. He had not joined everyone at the hall due to his declining condition. Running through the castle pushing anyone and everyone out of his way with his sword ready Grant quickly made his way towards the king's chamber. On the way finding two uncontentious guards on the ground. ((thought i had forgot about that incident, Minron, maybe xd )) This made Grant Worry "Four guards here!!" Grant ordered wile still in full run.

"Well why don't you two use your powers to open the doors ehh?" Zi said rolling his eyes. "What am I the brains of the three of us? Face it if you two can't open them then we're stuck in here and there's nothing we can do about it." Zi leaned back against the stairs. "Besides I'm sure the council's pet will take care of the king so why don't you two relax, pull up a stare." Zi kept the glowing floor in the corner of his eye. I'f I could find out how to obtain that power I would finally not be the oddball of the family. It was true that out of the three brothers Zi was the one who lacked any powers. He was always jealous of that but he made up for it by training on every weapon he could to try and master every one. All the standard ones around the castle where easy enough to master. The hard ones to master where the one's like Grant's Sword staff that were less common. He always found those uncommon weapons to be fascinating though Grant never let anyone near his and other weapons usually were not around here long enough to get his hands on for long let alone master.

"For the brains, you certainly are not very observant," Cyrith teased as he sat down besides his powerless brother. "There's no one here for me to deceive and no one for Ric to protect, our powers are as useless as yours without the proper spell."
"Cy you do not have to be so rude," Ric lectured as he sat down on the other side of his brother Zireno had always been jealous of Ric as they grew up for his powers, and this jealousy merely shifted once Cyrith's powers came in at the age of twelve. Father was always saying that Zireno would one day develop some of his own, but at the age of twenty six,the middle prince was still bitterly waiting.
"How was I being rude? He knows he has no powers," Cyrith leaned forward to meet his brother's gaze.
"I am certain they shall come in eventually, and if they do not, perhaps he'll be better off. It's not as though magic has made you any more responsible," referring to the report he heard of his brother's earlier escape.

((OOC: Ooh, I reckon you almost did. Alexander is kind of absent till Henna gets back since he is still trying to wake her up; apparently she sleeps like a log.))
Sylvan could hear movement, coming from outside of the Great Hall and so did Grog. The servant didn't bother to listen unless it was important and it seemed to be unimportant in concerns to a servant, he would just let the mercenaries do whatever they were sent to do.
"Come on Grog, we better at least get looting..."
Grog nodded in agreement; at the bar in town they managed to pile up a lot of I.O.U.s in drinks and soon the law would be on their butts if they didn't get something to trade. The Ball seemed to be inaccessible, but there was footsteps coming from upstairs in the castle. The two mercenaries would need an alternate entrance. Sylvan took a quick look around and spotted a window leading to the second floor which was perfect.
"All right lard-o, the window is our best bet; try not to miss it."
Sylvan jumped up towards the window and slowly floated towards it as if she was gliding on air. She opened it with ease and went inside, now it was her hopes Grog wouldn't miss this time. Grog wasn't as elegant as Sylvan: he made one leap and came tumbling into the window, causing little harm to the castle itself, but hitting his head against the hall when he rolled forward.
"See? When ya call me names I can’t do it right, why do you have to be such a-"
Sylvan just placed her left hand over Grog’s mouth so he would be quite. Sylvan took another listen to find out what was going on. They were on the second floor -not sure what room- and noise was still going on upstairs. Grog got up and followed Sylvan as they both made their way to the stairs; it was mostly likely the best loot would be upstairs and it was certain the King wouldn't miss any of it.

Jewlet stood up when she heard foot steps. Then she looked up. 'This is just a distraction.' She started to walk heading to the second level to see if she could find anything thing. Once on the second level she headed for one of the balony. She looked acrossed the area to see if she could find anything out of place. Bitting her lower lip, she looked up at the edge of the roof. Then she looked back down and saw the glowing. She frowned and shook her head.

Grog and Sylvan reached the top of the stairs and were greeted by the third floor at the very top. Sylvan was itching for a fight; it had been quite awhile since she had seen blood. Grog on the other hand liked it when the two didn't have to fight; he was a bit of a softy. Despite their appearances, both Grog and Sylvan were quite experienced in the ways of combat.
"I don't like this Sylvan; all the lights are out and I don't think we will be at good terms with the Dir-"
Sylvan immediately cut him off when she could sense some activity down below on the second floor and just ahead of them was much more activity then below. Sylvan's style of combat involved stealth and what better way to help stealth then to sense your opponents?
"Shut up! There three downstairs and a whole bunch up here, just ahead. The ones downstairs are probably servants, at least three and the ones ahead according to the weight they have are probably Knights sent to guard the goods in the King's room."
Grog was beginning to think Sylvan was going over her head again, but thieves’ usually did. Grog was a peaceful guy but his primary way of fighting was sheer strength, though he didn't like using the strength.
"Sylvan, I just don't think this will work out; we can't fight so many at once, our best bet is to just wait this all out and wait for the King to die like planned; your schemes rarely go anywhere!"
Sylvan knew this routine by heart and she had to go through it every time she wanted something like treasure or loot. First should would force out a few tears and then stare at Grog with her eyes so wide and a quivering lower lip.
"But-But-I want it!"
Seeming like a child was a big advantage in getting what Sylvan wanted and it even worked on Grog despite the fact he knew it was an act; he just couldn't say no to Sylvan due to what his mother taught him. Grog sighed and nodded yes.
"Fine..."
They both started walking forward, wary to what things or people they would encounter on the third floor of the castle. It was in Sylvan's hope and Grog's that they would also find some kind of records around here; they were looking for someone and most likely that person was worth a lot.

"Like I care." Zi said standing up. "relying on those parlor tricks is foolish anyways." Zi went downstairs and into the crowd. Seeing as there was nothing else to do around here he was going to grab a bite to eat and then find a nice comfortable place to lay down for a wile. A nap would do him well and with all the commotion he wouldn't be bothered with the prince's responsibilities. Sit up straight, your using the wrong fork, it will be your duty some day to look over this place the sound of his mother rang though his head. He hated this life, no freedom at all, at least now he could have the freedom to do what he wanted until the doors where open.

In the mist of the princes scrobble, Niro was busy think of a way out. Taking in the chain of events and what has been done to excape. So far, nothing helped. He took his right hand and massase the back of his head. This was a habit of his since he was a kid. It helped him think and it was something to calm himself after an embarrasing momment. Looking around the room, he took note to what they could do. "Alright. The doors are locked tight, there's no use in trying the balcony, the windows are up too high, and the room is glowing." Tapping his foot on the ground he pondered on the meaning of this. Looking up at the clock, he notice that it was after one o'clock. s**t I almost forgot! Niro quickly, but calmly took a small vile from within his sleave. Slowly turning is back to the princes, he pulled out the cork and chuck back the blueish-purple contain. Then he return the empty vile back in his sleave. Phew, that was close.
