Sarah frowned slightly as the to spoke about her but paid them no mind. She reached into her bag and pulled out the large text book that they used in the class and opened the book to the page that they had left on yesterday.

Class crept by rather boringly, and it was all Desiree could do to not fall asleep. She already had read the material for the next three classes, so this was practically just review.
Jessica, on the other hand, had found her dear Peter and was currently standing back while she let him handle their mimbulus plant. She didn't want to get anything on her perfect skin.

"Right." She packed up her books and followed him out of the classroom.
"Finally, we're done with those horrid things." Of course, Jessica had refused to touch it, but she had no problem hanging on to Peter's arm as they left the greenhouses.

"There's hardly anyone in the library now...Pince is particularly aggrivated...I don't want to get attacked by Craig again...I guess that leaves the Hufflepuff Common Room to do homework in," said Ray, looking up after ticking off places on his fingers.

"Alright then." She made her way towards the Hufflepuff dormitories. "If it gets too crowded or something, we could always use the Room of Requirement...we never really got much use out of it before."

Ray followed her amiably, when they ran into (almost literally) Jess and Peter. He forced a smile at his friend and Jess. "Hi, guys," he said, taking Desiree's hand subconciously.

Desiree took one glance at Jess and her lecherous grin, and laced her fingers with Ray's as if saying "Back off."
"Hello." In response, Jess snaked her arm around Peter's waist and pulled herself close to him, her eyes fixed on Ray, half seductively, half looking as though she were giving him a warning.

Ray looked at Jess as evenly as he could. "Well, we'd love to stay and...talk, but we need to get going," he said, smiling at them both awkwardly and hurrying to the Common Room, dragging Desiree along with him.
Peter looked at Jess curiously. "What was that all about?" he asked, slipping his own arm around Jess protectively.

"Ummm...Ray, are you having fun ripping off my arm?" She had to speed up a little to finally get in step with him. "WHy'd you leave so suddenly? All nervous like..."
