  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Seeing Shira like this, Sanctum would have a devilish grin on his face, "You are on the verge of death and yet you still speak to me in such a way?" he asked as he snapped his fingers once more, causing the pain to cease. Kneeling down before her, Sanctum took her by the hair, "Atticus is unaware of anything I say or do when I am in control, sadly he can't stop me." Sanctum told her as he sighed and let go of her hair, "But I can not stay out this long. My time is nearly up, but don't fret, I will be back soon enough. The more Atticus fights, the more he is on the verge of death, the stronger I become, so please continue letting him do this, it will only benefit me further." As he uttered those last words, Sanctum's presence faded, leaving behind only Atticus, standing above her nearly out of it. However, after a few seconds, Atticus would realize where he was and what he was doing, "Shira!" he shouted as he leaned down and picked her up, "What happened? Are you okay?"▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Fleet Admiral Alex Admiral Alex looked back and forth between Sanctum and Shira, having no idea what was happening. Though it was clear to her that Sanctum was hurting Shira. She turned her right arm into a blade again, glaring at Atticus. "What in the hell is going on!?" she asked angrily as Atticus seemed to be completely confused and act the exact opposite from what he had done before.

◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• "Say whatever... I am not your toy. I do not belong to you or anyone else... even Atticus." she muttered as her vision blurred and she gagged a few more times, the taste of blood flooding into her mouth. She felt Atticus' presence return as everything continued to blur "I am not doing too well... at this rate I won't even make the trip back..." she managed to say as the room spun. It turns out, that her sickness was the cause of most of this. It began to effect her while she was on the shark but she continued to ignore it until now. Mixed with her fatigue, lack of energy, and blood loss, this was the worse her illness had ever been and now she was definitely not doing very well. She felt and control over her body just stop so now she was limp and couldn't move a muscle, the only thing now functioning was the fact that she was conscious. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Hearing her words, Atticus would place Shira gently on the floor as the room they were in began to fall apart around them. Looking over at the other girl, Atticus had a sad expression on his face. "Please leave this place immediately, there is no telling how long this ship is going to last." Atticus told Alex as he focused on Shira, "Shira, I won't let you die. No, I will not allow you to die not here, not in this place." Atticus said as he would lean in and kiss her, resonating his soul with hers, hoping that it would help her to survive. As he did, Atticus would, unbeknownst to Shira, use whatever life energy he had in order to sustain and replenish hers. If she was going to die, he would die as well.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Fleet Admiral Alex Admiral Alex was still confused but Shira and Atticus seemed to have made up. She nodded her head in a direction down one of the corridors as the ship shook again and there was a sudden drop that could be felt in their stomachs. "The quickest way to the top deck is down here," she said, looking back at them. "If we want to live, we have to move now."

◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira didn't react as Atticus kissed her for a few moments, then she managed to turn her head, spitting out some blood "Get moving." she said as she looked over at him "The Shadow Skirter may be able to help me... so quit being all dramatic and lets get out of here. I don't want to die here and the last thing I need is for you to make it sound like I would." she told him with a serious expression on her face as she looked up at him. Obviously she was still doing her best to fight on her own in staying alive. She looked at Alex then back at Atticus. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Don't say those things around me, it makes me feel like I failed you, Shira." Atticus said as he stood up, with Shira in his arms. Looking over at the girl, Atticus would nod and then run towards the direction of the ship.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Her vision got worse then, things began clouding over so it was difficult to see. Different parts of her body began going numb as she tried to stay awake despite her eyes getting heavy. I'm scared... It has never been this bad before. she heard a voice in her head say as she felt herself getting worse by the minute. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Due to having used Sanctum's powers so many times, Atticus' own energy would be completely gone, right now the only thing that is allowing him to move, let alone run, was his will and determination not to let Shira die on him. Not looking down at her, Atticus would be able to tell that she was getting sicker by the second. "Hey, Shira..." he stated, "I know that you might not want me saying this, especially at a time like this, but I figured that I may go for it, encase it is too late." Passing through a door, Shira would see the look of happiness, yet sorrow on Atticus' face as he spoke. "From the moment I met you, you began changing me. I am no longer the cold and emotionless weapon that you first met. I have become gentle and kind. I owe it all to you. Your love changed me, but I'm sorry if I have not shown you any type of love or treated you the way you deserved to be treated. I hope you can forgive me for that." Atticus then looked down at Shira and smiled, "Even still, thank you for putting up with my selfish demands. Thank you for loving me." the way he spoke and acted, Atticus seemed to have been planning on dieing or not seeing Shira again. At that moment, the three would finally reach the upper deck.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She looked up at him, or at least tried to when he finished talking. "I am glad I could help... I have to thank you as well. Without you I would probably still be the spoiled brat I was then. Thank you for putting up with that. No. Thanks for everything..." she said as she rested her head against his chest and closed her eyes "I won't die if you won't die..." she muttered as she ended up slipping into unconsciousness. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Not knowing whether she was just unconscious or that she had died, something within Atticus' soul would spark, "Shira!" he roared out loud. Placing her gently on the ground, Atticus' body underwent an demonic transformation. Black wings sprouted out of his back while his hair turned even blacker and grew longer. His body became as pale as a the moon, and his eyes were cold and lifeless. Letting out a mournful howl, this Demon Atticus would look towards the Steam Crow and dash towards him with tremendous speed, attempting to crush its head with his bare hands, not even noticing the other three that were attacking him as well.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Fleet Admiral Alex The Shadow Skirter Captain Rachel T. Cathy The Steam Crow All four of the combatants were still engaged in their fight when Atticus tore into it. When he howled they all saw him coming a split second before he reached them. "Woah!" Yelled Admiral Alex as she launched herself backwards and out of his way. "Ahh!" Cried Cathy, diving to the ground and narrowly avoiding one of his demonic wings. "The Hell!?" Said Captain Rachel as she used both heavily armored arms to brace herself as the force of his attack pushed her backwards across the deck. The Steam Crow was only able to widen its eyes in surprise as it saw the massive hand grip his face. When Atticus squeezed the massive pressure caused the Steam Crow's head to practically explode, sending sparks of electricity, gouts of steam and splashes of black liquid in every direction. The Steam Crow's lifeless body fell to the ground without a sound as everyone looked on.
