I'm terribly sorry about my mood earlier. I was just a little distraught. You two are being awfully silent. Is something wrong? *She looked at them with little innocent eyes.*

Ben shook his head. "Are you ok?"
Chesna smiled. "Yes, I just don't have the stomach to deal with Haines right now." She sat on the bed. Ben joined her and she layed her head on his shoulder.

*She laughed inside as the boys snapped out of it.
"Oh no, nothing at all. We were just wondering about your health. I was telling Nikkos here that it would probably best not to disturb you.
Yes, I wanted to go up and check on you, but Haines spent quite some time talking me out of it.
*Layra winked at Nikkos.* You did the right thing my dear Haines. I just need a moment to collect myself is all. *She put his hand between hers.* You are ever so perceptive.

Chesna was out of it in seconds flat. She dozed a dreamless sleep.
Ben looked down at Chesna and sighed. He put an arm around her and watched her sleep.

*Layra, still holding Haines hands drew herself a little bit closer to him.* I think that tea would be very nice about now.
What? Oh, of course! *Haines scurried off to the kitchen completely forgetting that he had people who did this sort of thing.*

its all in good fun. Besides, you know you're enjoying it too. *She gave him a small kiss on the cheek.* We're leaving tonight and I needed some way to survive the afternoon.

I am enjoying it. You have such pale feet, it makes me laugh.
*Layra smacked his arm and than gave him another kiss.*

Chesna snored.
Ben laughed and layed Chesna down on the bed which was more comfotable than his arm. He thought for a moment then layed down next to her staring at the ceiling.

*Haines was being chased into the room by one of his house keepers who shouted something about staying out of the kitchen and tea coming later.* The tea is on its way. *Said this with a bit more dignified tone than usual in an attempt to gain some composure.*
that's wonderful. Perhaps we could sit down?

*Haines quickly led Layra to the sofa and helped her to sit down. Layra laughed inside and he made sure she was completely comfortable. He sat next to her and began talking about various amounts of things. She wasn't really paying attention. She just nodded or giggled when it seemed appropriate all the time inching slightly closer to Haines. He didn't seem to notice however, until Layra's hand ended up on his knee.

*Haines became rather flustered.* Miss...if you please.
Hmmm? *She looked down at her hand and pulled it off quickly as though she just realized it was there.* Oh, I'm sorry..I...I didn't realize...your story was just so intreaging...I just lost myself....I'm so sorry.
Please don't be so upset, I understand what you mean. *He wasn't quite sure what to do. He was to flustered and those were the only words he could think of.*

Chesna was silent. She agreed with Ben but knew it would never be this way. She turned her head away for a moment then looked back at him. His eyes met hers. "Could I have a water?"
Ben got up slowly and kissed her on her forehead then searched around for a glass.
