"You know him/her?" Yumi sounded surprised, even though she really wasn't.

"What the hell is he doing up here in the mountains alone?" She studied the white moving dot.

"So I just knock him out right?"

Himura Sakura nods just enough for her to notice. "Hai...I've seen him multiple times and gotten to know him by spying on him...instead of the other way around. He's probably no older than 10 years of age. He had been trained for a long time by one of the masters of ninjitsu, his father mind you, but that man died during the war. Him, his wife, and the whole village except for that boy...He's very excellent...just not against the best of bushido, or ninjas.

"Assasains, what have you. He simply lives up here to train himself and work his body farther...knocking him out will keep him training to get better than a person knocking him out in a movement..." Within the next minute of silence that dot was gone. The boy was moving and headed toward Yumi and Sakura. It wasn't obvious, and in fact it almost seemed he wasn't there. Yumi would be able to see him when he reached about 100 feet away. He was excellent as Himura had said, but not the best and would be easy to take down. His request though was for him to be knocked unconscious. In full it was her choice...

((cricktes! stressed ))

She was walking again, out of town, or rather out the other side of the town, heading for the highlands. She was not looking forward to the climb, climbs took a long time. She sighed and the patience that had been hammered into her set in, she started humming.

"Doesn't seem very fun training up here in the mountains." Yumi mumbled...

"I don't quite get it... does he try attacking everyone who passes by and why? And how does he survive? I mean, where does he get food from? And where does he sleep? And you know, stuff like that." Yumi almost sounded shocked, hearing about the small boy made her remember things she didn't want to remeber.

Sakura shakes his head a bit as the boy leapt up in the air, a few kunai's and other weapons being shot from his arms. Sakura looks up. "No...he just doesn't like you from the looks of it. I would defend and hit him over the head in about 2 seconds."

He continued walking to let her take care of it. He didn't feel the need to involve himself. He would continue speaking to her after she had taken care of the young boy. There were good reasons to train in the mountains as well as not to train up there...all kinds of reasons.

Yumi just looked at the boy as he was some kind of irritating distraction. With one hand she moved her sword to block some kunais and weapons, while she moved slightly so that the rest missed her.

"Oy kiddo, why do you attack innocent people?" She moved past him following Sakura.

"He doesn't like me? Ah... how horrible." She said theatrically. Her sword she kept ready to defend herself from other very possible attacks from the boy.

The boy landed but never made a sound after. He was in the air over her, his shadow cast back so she wouldn't see it out in front of her. His double short blades pulled and ready to attack her with accuracy power and speed he had trained himself in.

Yumi bounced forwards so that she was just out of reach. Then looked back at him and gave the boy a cold glare.

"Scram..."

She then turned her attention back to Chaos.

"You always have to deal with this guy? What an annoyance!" Yumi pouted.

Humming had become a burden so she trekked up the hill silently, her head was down, she watched the road, thinking about nothign in particular. At one point, she wondered where she was going. In the next instant she laughed a bit, she knew where she was going! She looked up and sighed, it was getting colder and she could see patches of snow. She decided to run a bit.

Sakura keeps walking not speaking as the boy throws three well-aimed kunais at Yumi's back. He would then charge in without breaking the silence with snow crackling under him. He wasn't going to give up it seemed. Sakura simple stepped a bit seeming to be off as the kunai's neared letting it fly by if she moved correctly.

"I don't deal with him everytime Yumi...but you will if you ignore him." Sakura pulled his straw hat down in that stepping movement that seemed natural. "I told you already...he has to be knocked out or killed...but I asked that you didn't kill him. If you don't even have that ability then what's the point?...besides didn't you train in the mountains? Maybe not as extremely but still..."

((I'm assuming you guys are past the summit so...))

She reached the summit in teh afternoon(?) huffing and puffing. It took her a few minutes to catch her breath. Her stomach protested loudly and she growled right back, "We shoudl be over this stupid thing by the evening so shut up!" She took a deep breath, of the air and started downwards. She was quite interested adn excited to see tracks. She made a squealing noise adn continuted.

((Actually they reached the summit at about 3 PM, and then it will take another 3 hours, making it sunset, to reach the bottom...if they walk of course. They are at about 4 PM right now so that's about when she would have gotten there... ehhe))

Sakura's eyes flashed and his blade cut down every kunai. Then flashed out smashing the boy's face. It threw him through the air and into the woods. He landed and became invisible. He was knocked out. Fortunately he would regain consciousness before anything...serious happened. Such as frostbite or worse.

Himura then turned sheathed the sakabatou that was too fast too see what it really was. He then leapt up from the ground onto the side of the trail in the brush and began running. His voice broke back to Yumi. "Start running on the ground and then jump into the brush on the right...we have company that forgets her voice.

Sakura fled down the side approaching the ending of the snow quickly. The person behind him, unless she ran, wouldn't reach the bottom till well after sundown. She had just passed the summit from the sound of it, and they were leaving that large expansive area. She wouldn't be able to tell anything had changed except when she got halfway through with the snow.

Then there would be another person, and about halfway between that point and the end of the snow Himura's tracks would disappear. Soon after Yumi's would hopefully. She would loose track of them for a while and by the time she could figure it out, they would be off the mountain and heading away as the sun was reaching it's final hours.

She had decided not to change her name. It was too much of a hassle, Lotus suited her just fine and she really didnt' think she'd done anythign of significant notice for someone to come after her. A few towns saved, no biggy. She sighed, oblivious to the scheming ahead. Some time later she was aware of the disturbance in the bushes off to her right. She turned and looked, then watched the tracks, and her eyes narrowed; somethi gwas very off.
She tensed whens he heard groaning. She dropped down and approaced at a crouch, slowly, silently utnil she was able to see what was makign the racket.

It was a boy!

Lotus frowned adn looked around, she needed to see something. She trotted, following the tracks until they disappeared. She smiled, Aw, okay. So he did know she was following. She sighed, she had hoped to drop in unannounced, he was probably irritated. She went back to the boy, the possiblity of him being on Chaos' bad side ran through her head but he was much to woozy to do anything to her. She grabbed him adn slung him over her shoulder and started down, passing the point where Chaos adn his companion's tracks vanish.
She wasn't as carefree now, however, every fiber in her body was tense, her ears listening carefully as she walked. She knew Chaos couldn't have flown but he could have jumped. Her eyes occasionally flitted along the trees.
