And hey, it was about time someone didn't want to solve stuff by fighting.

Which is not to say Nagato won't have someone Naruto cares about killed just so Naruto gets into a fighty mood again.

Let it be Sasuke. Please? He's past his usefulness to the plot anyhow.

As for Sasuke they are never going to kill off the main character/ And they will always find away to make him useful again, at the cost of someone else's life.
