I was indifferent about storm, but Halley Barry ruined the character for me. I was always a fan of gambit and wolverine though. 3nodding

I don't like the Halle Berry Storm much either. Wolverine is HOT. I may not fantasize about men, but Wolverine is definately sexy.

I think I will want to cause Halle Berry pain until the DAY I DIE for what she did to Storm. I didn't like the way they portrayed Rogue, either, but that was mostly an issue with the script. Storm was utterly Berry dropping the ball. Or the casting director. Seriously. Who thinks she can act? HOW DOES SHE HAVE AN OSCAR? I don't get it!
My favorite male X-Man is Wolvie, followed by Gambit. As far as the women, I liked Storm the best when I was a kid, but now I prefer Rogue. I was also a sucker for Joseph, Magneto's clone. I have a thing for clones.
Also, totally obscure X-character? Shatterstar. Slightly less obscure: Longshot. Soon to be in a movie: Deadpool.
And... what ever happened to Shadowcat's pet dragon?

Lockheed. I'm not exactly sure, though I think that's mostly because... no one is. Being that Kitty Pryde herself is my personal pick for favorite female X-man, the story on what's up with the both of them is something I'm looking forward to finding out. Even though I'm not much of a comic reader these days. :T (Though I do try to keep up with both 'Runaways' and 'Angel: After the Fall'.)
As for male X-man... well duh. (Old picture is old.)

Who thinks she can act? HOW DOES SHE HAVE AN OSCAR? I don't get it! She got an oscar for having sex with Billy Bob Thorton in Monster's Ball. In fact, she didn't even act well in that movie either--it was just the sex scene. Thorton should have gotten the Oscar because he was the -only- actor in it that was actually -believable-. The movie was just....so awful. ugh. Quote: My favorite male X-Man is Wolvie, followed by Gambit. As far as the women, I liked Storm the best when I was a kid, but now I prefer Rogue. I was also a sucker for Joseph, Magneto's clone. I have a thing for clones. OMG, ME TOO. Stop copying me, arg! D; I don't remember if Storm was my fav. but I did like Rogue, I think. I just remember WOLVERINE smashing everything and having those ultra-cool claws. I wanted those! I want to claw out doors easily and snap them in two! wtfman And Hugh Jackson is aaaaaaawesome but I like him in everything that he does. <3 And uneth blog=LOVE! heart

Lockheed recently turned out, during Joss Whedon's run, to be a spy for the Sentient Worlds Observation, Research and Defense (S.W.O.R.D.) organization, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s space-faring sister. In exchange for reporting upon any interaction between the X-Men and any aliens, S.W.O.R.D. would help reunite him with his race.
Kitty has bigger concerns, as she is comatose inside a planet-sized alien bullet that she phased through Earth. She's cruising around space, intangible, and out cold. Colossus is a Goddamn wreck, and Lockheed's not exactly welcome around the X-Men anymore.
I wish I was making this up. ******** Whedon.

Astonishing, aside from being chronically overdue, was not a bad run. It's worst issues besides tardiness was a slight reversion of all the cast back to Claremontian characterizations. And Colossus isn't a wreck. If Pete's a wreck it's because of the s**t they're doing with his sister in Limbo right now, not Kitty. He got over that when Fraction had him save some little girl's kitty from a tree.

Sweet. There's some info I somehow wasn't aware of. See what happens when you fall out of reading something unless a favorite character features prominently?
As for Whedon's various involvements here and there, well... I'm still not sure how I feel about his take on Runaways. The plot was decent, but compared to the way BKV set it all up... I don't know. It felt like a good story, but not right story.

How is Kitty floating around intangible? I mean... I thought she couldn't breathe when she ghosted or something...
Oh man! I just remembered all of those little mini-Nightcrawlers. What the hell were those things called, again? So cute, so evil.
And just After the Fall? Not Buffy Season 8? Volume 3 was awesome. God, I love Dracula.

Well, honestly, I lost track of what was going on in anything Buffy around... I think season 3. I'd catch a few episodes here and there (and a few major arcs), but for some reason it wasn't holding me as much as Angel did. I've always said I'd try to get back into it some day, but who knows however long that will take.

And Kitty can only not breathe when she's phased inside a solid object. The planet breaker is sorta hollow, and she more or less fused with it on a level when phasing it through Earth. She'll be back eventually. It was more or less none of the X-writers wanted to play with her right now, so they took her out of the toybox. And you're thinking of Bamfs.

That's par for the course. kissmekillme And you're thinking of Bamfs. I thought that's what they were called, but it just sounded too simple and obvious. God, I loved those things. I remember this huge splash page in one of the old Excalibur comics with hundreds of teeny tiny evil Nightcrawlers teleporting all over the place. whee

But not so much since 2000 or so. Of course, sometimes it's better she be out of reach. Otherwise you get things like senile Claremont deciding Kitty should still be 16, a virgin, and never ever anywhere near that nasty Pete Wisdom chap.
