Kaori's eyes widened. she leaned against the window sill for support.

((Hi~! I just joined the RP, so sorry if I don't really know any of you guys yet. sweatdrop ))
Sayuri walked through a forest humming a little to herself as though it was normal for her to be out in the middle of who-knows-where. She stopped and looked around at one point and put her hands up on both sides of her mouth. "Mo-chan~! Where are you Mo-chan~?" She waited to see her little monkey come t her, and sighed when he didn't. "Silly Mo-chan's probably out eating fruit. Oh well. He'll find me soon. He always does." She smiled and continued walking, hoping she'd come across some one soon or even find a village or camp.

Laura was whittling spare handles for her daggers while inside of her newest "home." ...Well, the word "home" was stretching things a bit, but it was her base of operations, for now. It looked like a decent-sized, moss-covered hill on the outside, except that on one small part near the bottom, there was a hole. Having been no stranger to hiding things with moss, Laura had covered it fairly quickly, and it looked no different than the rest of the hill. Inside, it was alright. A little damp, but she'd lived in worse. It wasn't even all that cramped, and, being a fire wielder, she had plenty of light. She'd have to head out soon to hunt, though... It seemed this forest was short on fruit trees, and the berries she'd found don't really make for a decent meal.

Mo-chan came back to Sayuri and chatted noisily in complaint about the lack of fruit and held out a hand of berries dissatifiedly. Sayuri giggled a little. "Well, if you don't like what you've got then I'll take them Mo-cahn~!" The little monkey stopped chattering and looking at the berries in his hand before cramming them all into his mouth at once. Sayuri laughed again. "Sill Mo-ch-" She felt her foot snic a little in the side of a hill and she hit her head on a rock. She was knocked out and the little monkey started screaching and looking around for some one who might be able to help.

Seeing a foot rip through her hidden hole, Laura was more than a bit startled. Then there sounded like some strange animal screeching, and she guessed it must be this person's pet. Nervous that this person wasn't moving at all, she crawled out, and looked from the human to the... thing. "Shush, small thing!" she warned, moving towards the girl. At the moment, Laura had no way of telling if this girl was of water tribe or not, and, since she really only had a one-fourth chance of being so, decided to check for a pulse. "She's alive, little thing, so she should be alright..." Laura told the pet. She had honestly never seen an animal like it before, so she had no idea what it was. There wouldn't be enough room inside the hill for them all to fit, so she had to risk staying outside. Laura moved the girl off the rock and on to more level ground, then went inside her little "house" for a moment to retrieve some bandages that she had stolen only just the day before.

Mo-chan stated jumping up and down and chattering something when the girl started moving Sayuri. Sayuri could feel herself being moved, and as soon as the girl had set her down, 4 large men of rock formed around her as though they were guarding her. Mo-chan hopped to her side and started chattering something to her as he started slapping her face. Sayuri just moaned and made a face at the monkey, not opening her eyes.
