Natsuki was now sleeping peacfully. Although the pain kilers hadn't exactly kicked in so she some how could feel the small pain in her body. She couldn't stay asleep any longer. Her eyes opened and she smiled noticing the mask over her face. "So he didn't kill me," she thought. She didn't motion to mvoe up. She just layed there. She new after moving around after something like that was going to be something bad happening so she layed there thinking of something that she could do.

brandon stopped at the room leaning aginst the doorway, though his body ached slightly from seeing it. He shook his head and walked over to the bed. And started setting things up he hated doing blood transplants and anything like that, mainly because it wasn't one of his better areas, he smiled seeing that she was awake "Well I'm not your killer yet." he said with a halfhearted laugh. He felt his forehead knowing now that he was getting to the point where he was about to start zoneing out or screwing up. He took a deep breath happy that he had at least kept her alive for this long, becuase she had a pretty good chance of surviveing now.

She smiled slightly. "Don't jinx it now," she said. she looked up to him. "You should get some rest..... but that would mean breakig another door down," she said closing ehr eyes. "you pulled an all nighter, saw a surgery being performed, performed one of the most difficult. You diserve to rest," she said to him. "I need to sleep anyways," she added.

Brandon slumpped aginst the wall and slid down it sitting down next to the bed. "I couldn't break another door down if I tired. I still ache from the one I had to knock down." he laughed "I didn't even do as good a job as Redgrave did on the recovery room door, and I wasn't even trying to be careful about how I knocked it down." he rubbed his temples "Anyways I can't leave you alone, I know I need rest and all but I feel better if I can keep an eye on you." he said in a quiet tone, he was still afriad he was going to lose his best friend.

Natsuki blushed slightly. "I won't allow you to see Karin if you're sick mister big shot."['b] she said in a slightly thretning tone. but then she thought. What could I do, I can barely even move from the bed, she said to her self. She started to move in the bed slightly, she was feeling uncomfortable. Shes sat her self up against the back f the beds railiing. "Well in any case. The should be an extra sheet of blankets and a futon thingy in the there that you can use," she said to him. She smiled knowing fully well that breakinf another door could probably be a bit fatel. "There is also varios mediines in that cabinet that you can use. You're a doctor, and I'm preaty sure you know which one you should probably take," she said to him.

Brandon had fallen asleep leaning upaginst the wall. he had been wiped out before natsuki had had problems, and after everything else he couldn't manage to keep his eyes open for a moment more. He drifted through memorys in his sleep. Though nothing really stuck in place long enough to trigger a real dream.

Natsuki sighed slightly. She had to manedge to get up spmewhere. He was going to get sicker then he already was if he didn't have any sort of blankets. She manedge to some how walk over to te cabinet with the blnkets, draggin the IV along wither her. She pulled the blanket out from the cabinet and ragged it towards Brandon, throwing it on him. She muttered something about silly fool under her breath and went to go lay back down on her bed, to soon fall asleep. She drifted into her own sleep.

Brandon managed to laydown while still asleep. He had found memorys of his and natsuki's first meetings. And from there gone on to things they had done. He half woke up remembering that he still owed her twenty dollars from a bet. He sat up, looking at the blanket still half asleep, then siled as it dawned on him that she had mangaed to get up and give it to him. HE would have to remember to thank her and then chew her out for that later. He laid back down with his hand on his forehead, his fever was almost all the way gone and he wasn't really sick, just worn down.

Natsuki was still asleep. the pain killers had kicked in and was now easiar for her to sleep. She new she should have sstayed down, moving around after the stitches were put in was probably the worst idea imanigible. She groaned slightly in her sleep. The fever had not really left her, and it was starting make her feell a bit sicker then she was before.

Brandon sat up and yawned as he slowly stood up and put a hand on natsiki's forehead to take her temp. He sighed she was still hot, he sat down next to the bed and kept an eye on her. He still felt a little worn out but better than he had. He wanted to let her rest in peace but still he knew she probably needed another doctor

"Brandon?" she asked in a tired and wispered tone. "Thank you for saving me," she said out of the blue. She looked up to him. "Brandon.... could you come closer for a seconed?" she asked him.

Brandon smiled happy that she was alright for the moment,even if there was a fever still. He leaned closer to her and smiled plesantly "It was my pleasure to be able to help for once." he said in a gentle tone,

As soon as he leaned in close enough. Natsuki pulled him close enough to plant a kiss on is lips. Un aware of what she was doing. "I love you," she said. Although she didn't know what she was thinking. it was sort of the truth in away.

Brandon turned bright red. He hadn't expected that at all, he smiled "I feel the same for you. Though for now we need to get you a better doctor to take a look at my work. After all don't want you haveing complications.

Natsuki shook her head. "That's not nesicarry. You did a fine job. I wouldn't see why you can't get your deggree," she said. She wasn't sure if she was talking from teh fever. allthough that was probably. No matter what you would have to take the final test to become a real surgon. "Don't worry. You did a great job,' she said.
