A Very Long Engagement, I saw that last night! heart
Typical Jeunet, but still very good. Big age diff between the two leads, too.
Well, that was going to be my next movie so I'll look for something else.

I knew what the outcome would be, although I WISH it was the opposite. I didn't take to Manech. Plus the age difference was just so obvious, I need to see more Tautou films, hopefully she has better mates in those.

Dirty Pretty Things was good in terms of a believable romance. I thought the love story in A Very Long Engagement was really shallow and immature. Was the kid supposed to be retarted? He kind of seemed like it.

I thought he was naive, but not retarded. The romance was simple and fairytale. I liked it better than The Life Aquatic, at least.
