ray simply got up and left in the confusion. nodding at liam he explained " i was faking, thought we could get the meal free that way. but flooding the place also works"
he then went and sat on the back of the vehicle eating onion rings out of his pocket

"was that really necessary? I understand getting a free meal but I would have tried to without all the wanton destruction. also weren't you saying less than half an hour ago that we didn't need to steal anything?"

Emily figured that there was enough of a distraction already, so she casually strolled out in to the open, trying to look natural, heading for the vehicle. People looking might just assume that what she was carrying was hers. She climbed in to the back of the truck and sat down.
"If anyone sees Chuck Norris around then let me know. I have a reason to fear him now cuz I am a freaking ninja."
She began to whistle nonchalantly.

Sean had managed to yoink one of the plastic cartons for leftovers, and he carried his rather proudly (his first actual meal since he'd escaped!).
"Where's the ninja? Chuck Norris was in the mens' room--need me to go tell him there's a ninja?" he asked, tossing the carton into the back of the truck before hopping in himself.

Liam grabbed her hand and pulled towards the truck "we'll get you ice cream later i promise... But now we need to get going okay?" he didn't want to look at her, seeing girls sad always made him fold.

He hopped in the truck started it up and whole group sped off into the mountainous distance. Leaving destruction in their wake... Yep things where starting out great! "Y'know we cant keep doing this.... We're going to have to make some money somehow... Once we get to a town we're going to need to busk properly... So ray you're going to need to behave and stop thinking about your damn stomach. Aina can dance for us... We'll make some money that way I'm sure."

"no one is knocking me out" ray said flatly. " and any more talk about it will result in me sitting on the person who makes the comment" he said with a small smirk. "any way i borrowed enough food now that it should last me a few days ." he begin to rummage around his pockets and pulled out a ice cream sandwich , which he proceeded to devour .

The truck was traveling through a deep forest now the dense brush sealed out the sun leaving the road a dark and unappealing ride....
The trees rustled as Merick hoped from branch to branch at mock speeds following along the path watching the truck intently.

Liam smiled "Things are going well aren't they?" considering that they where far from home and had lost all theirs friends meer hours ago the path ahead looked like it would be smooth from now on....
