PLOTEvery idea creates a reality. Some realities are stronger than others... most fade... But a few survive... If an Idea has many followers it will flourish and grow its reality remaining strong and UN weltered. The Final Fantasy realms are much like that. An Idea embraced by millions and they themselves have there own stable reality. Until now... The Realities being based on games are filled with the same glitches, or rather unanswered questions... If the reality itself took that into account then it would begin to destabilize. But being as powerful as the reality was it would take its own survival into account. The reality would then search for a more stable reality to leech into. Slowly merging with that reality and creating a supposedly symbiotic world in which both realities would coexist. Video Game realms have come undone slowly unraveling into a nothing. But have begun to merge with a much more stable reality... Everything is merging slowly... Monsters with Animals, Plants with Plants and People with people. But to merge with a person they must have a window into the reality the character comes from... Meaning they must know of the reality. The reality the realms have chosen is, our world... The events of this RP follow 20 years after the beginning of the phenomenon, come to be known as convergence. The beginning of this convergence was played out in the original Shadowed Reality which can be found here . RULES All participants in this game are matched with a Gheist. In the original 'SR' people where limited to Final Fantasy Characters, 'SRC' players will be able to play with ghiests from all sorts of different games. When a person and a Gheist merge they share the body. But the original person in our cases will still remain in full control having only the Gheist as guides, Our Characters will remain silent about there Gheist and keep a secret, No ones wants to know you hear voices in your head right? All Hosts are marked with a swirling black tattoo these tattoos are hidden by the host; these are proof marks of their condition known as -The Gheist effect-. No one can hear your Gheist speak but you, Your Gheist is given a color to designate it in your post you may choose the color. All Gheist and Character conversations must be posted. To all mages in play... Area mana is limited, meaning spells cannot be casted to an infinite amount. Also When casting spell a wear and tear is done on the body of the caster, this is know as mana burn, if summoning mana burn is heavy and the caster may have a hard time even moving afterwards, In some cases Mana Burn is deadly. When casting spells not within your bodies limit for example. STORY 20 years has passed since the Convergence began, since then shiest users have been discovered by the public and are treated like freaks or outcasts, the government plans on capturing an isolating all Gheist users. The cause of the effect has been found and for 15 years now most forms of entertainment have been outlawed. This world is one devoid of creativity and starved for originality. This of course have cause children of all ages to rebel and try to find other ways to entertain themselves... Secret groups began forming, where people would meet and play Games and read comics. This practice became common enough for several new generations of ghiest users to come forth. These children where out casted upon discovery and most are now in concentration camps with other ghiests users. These camps are also being used to to secretly create a rebel army to oppose the government and take back the rights and freedoms taken from the world. All new characters will play as one of these children. *Characters can be no older than 19*Characters Sheets Character sheets are formed as followed Player Name: Character: Age: Country: Weapon: Skills: Tattoo: Gheist: Background: Gheist: Name: Age: Game: Skills: Magic: Special: Background:

Player Name: Decronite Character: Osrick Age:18 Country:Canada Weapon:b*****d Sword Skills:Cooking, First Aid, bilingual English/French Tattoo:Around left eye. Gheist:Frog! (Glenn) Background:A young man, rather insecure... He wears an Eye patch to cover his tattoo to avoid being identified as a gheist user on site. He was beat severely by his father prior to being exiled to one of the concentration camps to kept and monitored with the other users.
Gheist Name: Frog Age: Unknown Game: Chrono Trigger Skills: Various Offensive Sword techniques Magic: Water Magic/healing magic Special: Especially Strong VS Mages Background: Frog is a knight from 600 A.D., whose real name is Glenn. He was a squire under Cyrus, a "Knight of the Square Table." Glenn had a notably close, although platonic, friendship with Queen Leene. He later witnessed Cyrus's death at the hands of Magus, and shortly afterwards, was transformed into an anthropomorphic frog by the dark wizard. Frog dedicates his life to protecting Queen Leene and vows to avenge Cyrus by killing Magus. Blaming himself for failing to be strong, Frog is depicted as chivalric but mired in regret over the past. He is the true bearer of the Masamune, an ancient sword whose offensive capabilities against magic users is Magus's major weakness. Frog can later put Cyrus' ghost to rest, regaining his courage and clearing his conscience, and he has the opportunity to either defeat or ally himself with Magus. Frog wields a broadsword and can learn "Water" magic once he meets Spekkio; like Marle, he also features a few healing techs, but most of his are offensive. Frog is also a physically strong character. Frog's water element makes him weak against fire damage.

Name: Nani Character: Gabriel Kearns Age: 18 Country: United States Weapon: Sword, gun, hand-to-hand Skills: above-average strength/speed/healing rate, Nero's 'Buster' moves*, Manifest-Yamato*, Psuedo Devil Trigger*, and pretty much whatever else Nero decides to teach him. Tattoo: All of his right forearm Gheist: Nero Background: Gabe had a normal life--albeit really boring, considering the lack of media entertainment. But he and his two siblings managed not to kill eachother and his family existed peacefully in it's little Midwestern home. Though he knew of the groups that got together for gaming and such, he never had any reason to join--he didn't want to get caught, rather, so he just helped out around home (his family owned a stable, so there was always work to do). He did, however, have friends within those circles. Thanks to his fangirl friend Kaylee, Gabe soon learned of the Devil May Cry series and played a little on a dare. Little did he know that one day he'd be bearing the same mark that got so many people carted away. Upon realizing what that strange tattoo on his arm meant, Gabe took no time in running away from home--specifically not telling his family why to save them some trouble. He eventually started drifting between said rebel groups of kids, eventually learning about his gheist, and others', along the way. As for his relationship with Nero...it's rather complicated. Neither one likes to be the little mental voice, which leads to an almost constant fight for control. Thankfully for Gabe, Nero's beginning to settle down (which makes it easier for him to sneak around) but something like him is hard to keep secret.
*These abilities are learned and he won't have them at the beginning.
Gheist: Name: Nero Age: Late teens/early twenties? Game: Devil May Cry 4 Skills: Speed/strength, regeneration, and everything I put for Gabe only in their original context. Magic: None, technically Special: Devil Trigger. Background: Headstrong and with just as big an ego as Dante, Nero is yet another one of those demon-slaying warriors...with an added perk. Seems he has some demon blood in him as well. Not that such a thing gets in the way of his duty...or his crush.

Player Name: Pilotslover Character: Jane Holland Age: 18 Country: England Weapon: Rapier Skills: Presently none, eventually she will be able to summon a spiritual sword of various elements, use glyph magic and ‘die’ without dying (Needless to say she won’t want to test that one!) Tattoo: On her throat, covered by a choker with a rather strange looking symbol on it Gheist: Raziel Background: Jane was born in England and has always been a very quiet person; her parents were always a little wary of their eldest child as she tended to like her own company. Jane has two younger sisters but seems more satisfied on her own. She discovered her Geist whilst replaying the original Soul Reaver, something which has amused her to this day. Much like her gheist, Jane likes to have answers and has a fascination with how things work. Gheist: Name: Raziel Age: At least 2000 Game: Soul Reaver - The Legacy of Kain Series Skills: As the weilder of the Reaver, Raziel can summon the sword of many elements at will. In the original Game, Raziel could use glyph magic and in all the games he is in, he is a shifter of plains (Spectral and material realms) Magic: various glyphs. Special: The ability to plain shift using planar portals (SR and SR2) and later corpses (Defiance) Background: Formally a man, then a Vampire, Raziel’s sire Kain cast him into the Abyss to grant himself a new hand against fate; Raziel would prove to be both Kain’s destroyer and his salvation as it is Raziel’s soul that inhabits Kain’s sword - The Soul Reaver.

Dawn rose on the peaceful little settlement of Green lake PoP. 90
Tents and Makeshift cabins littered the grounds of the barren gravel covered field adjacent too the lake. The only 'Green' surrounding Green Lake Where the tall trees which where beginning to loose their leaves, winter was but a breath away and villagers of Green Lake where busy formulating plans to survive the harsh cold that awaited them...
A rumbling came down the only dirt road into town, the loud engine woke anyone who wasn't already awake. A man withe a crazy beard and eyes the size of saucers came burrowing down the roads at top speeds, a side car attached to his motorcycle. In the side car a rather meek form sat hunched covered in a blue woolen blanket. Which by this point was caked in dirt.
The Motorcycle stopped in town, to meet a rather large group of villagers who mostly showed up to meet the new recruit.
Elwood got off his hog, his teeth bared wide he was relieved to be back home, dodging the feds was a bit of a pain but he seemed to pull it off every time and at least save one prisoner in convoy. "Ladies and germs! I present to you our new little lifemate!" he motioned his hands rather Vana White-ly towards the sidecar.
Osrick shuffled under his blanket as he crawled out of the sidecar, he looked up at the people surrounding him and Elwood and felt faint his wasn't used to seeing soo many people at once, especially when they where all starring at him, he rose his hand meekly as he bunched up the blanket and threw it in the sidecar he gave a little wave "Hi... My name is Oz." he said in a ethereal tone. The eyepatch was apparent from the get go, it seemed to overshadow everything else. Infact it made it almost impossible to look at him directly, he was like a ghost.

And he probably would have gotten more of a reaction if everyone was conscious!
Leaned against the side of someone's cabin, watching the said 'Oz' with a sort of bored curiousity. He'd get around to him when he felt like it...

Jane was usually up with the dawn.
Presently, the young Brit was sitting under a tree with a book, looking through the pages whilst half watching everything else. 'Turn the page,' A voice told her.
Jane blinked a few times, 'Hmm? I'm not reading it, Raziel, I'm just pretending,'
'And pretence is pointless if you do not maintain it,'
He was right of course, Jane turned the page in her book without a word, listening out all the same.

Considering all the people, this place was pretty lonely, well truthfully none of these people where ever really 'alone' but most everyone seemed to share the same vacant expressions, I guess they where all outcasts like him. That made Osrick feel a little at ease, which was a nice feeling considering the hell he'd just been through. Eventually the people surrounding him dispersed even Elwood walked with some other guy, now he really was alone!
"I do believe you should get hopping..." "To do what? I'm like shell shocked here there's nothing for me to do! Why the hell would Elwood just leave me to my own devices like that without even saying goodbye, I don't even know anybody here! He never gave me any instructions either.... Where am i supposed to sleep!?!" "I always find it soo amusing that you talk to openly to me but on the outside people are lucky if you say two words...." "Seriously what should I do? I'm like panicking!"

'He appears to be lost,'
Jane looked up again, snapping the book shut. 'One could argue we're all that Raziel,'
She wandered up to him, "It's nothing personal, he does that to everyone," She offered. She held out a hand to him, "Jane Holland, a pleasure to meet you,"

Osrick quickly shook her hand try not to make eye contact, as that would of made him too nervous too. He smiled faintly "Nice to meet you..." he said softly "I'm Osrick... You can call me Oz I dont have a last name..."

"Well, I thought I knew a lot about him before he was sitting in my brain ..." Jane offered with a chuckle.
She did a small curtsey, which was hard as she was wearing trousers, "A pleasure to meet you, Sir Glenn,"
