That stopped the lioness in her tracks. "You want me to what?" A chilly tone entered Kun Yi's voice. There was no way that she would. It was against her personality and her views.

"I think you heard me Kun Yi." He stopped and turned to face the lioness. "It would save your new love from a fight. A fight that he could very well lose. You may think me to be a weak king, Kun Yi, But I will not hold back. I will beat Shaitani and keep you here." He Did not make it sound like a threat, it was a fact, if Shaitani lost she would stay. At this point Shaitani had a home to remain at if he lost, should any bad blood come btween the males, Ling would see him casted out of his territory.

Nola sat and looked at Akira. "Do you know other games? I don't know any but I want to learn what you can teach me." She grinned at the other cubs while her tail bobbed back and forth.

Kun Yi growled, the fur on the back of her neck rising. "You never did anything to earn my respect, so why should I?" The amethyst eyes narrowed. "I'm not going to pretend something I don't feel." With her last words the teen ran back to the cave.
"Shaitani! Shaitani!"
The dragon lioness stopped when she saw the adult form of her mate. "Oh..."

He stood, towering over her now, in terms of lions. He nuzzled her, his soft red mane shifting gently against her darker red fur, "What's wrong?" His voice was deeper, yet still had the same caressing, silky tone that it had always had. He was not a soft baritone, though, careful with his words more than ever. His body looked powerful, built well and proportioned perfectly. Gleaming white teeth that seemed to form the bars of a cage, closing out his now ferocious roar, adorned his mouth.
He was an adult - strong, powerful, and intelligent.

"He...he asked me..." The anger she had temporarily lost when she saw Shaitani returned full force. "Respect him? Why?" She buried her head in his red mane, needing some comfort. "I want out of here!"

He raised a huge paw, wrapping his foreleg around her back, "We will leave her soon... I promise." He hugged her into his mane and chest, nuzzling her. To anyone else, this would have been an 'I told you so' moment, but not now, and definantly not to Kun Yi. While he was not angry at Ling, he was also not happy with him. There was no choice: He would have to fight Ling, and he would have to win.

Ling's eyes narrowed as the red female ran away from him. Her little spat had angered him. Angered and confirmed everything he had thought about this female. As the watched her run to the cave he slowly stalked after her. He entered the cave just in time to hear the female speak of leaving.
The large black and white male starred down the black and red male. He then looked to the red and black female. "Your little spat will cost you both dearly. As will this display of disrespect for the pride. You are not free yet, I will not tolerate it." He moved forward, his whole body eminating power, his throat rumbling with a deep growl. "You may still be a teen little Kun-Yi, but I will hit you were it hurts you the most. Shaitani..prepare yourself, when the sun rises, we will fight...and I will not hold back...I promise you." The king stared down the new adult male. "Should I win, you will be cast out of the pride, and Kun Yi will stay till you are able to win her from me."

Shaitani looked to the bleck and white male, eyes hardening immediately, "I do not plan on losing, Ling," he said slowly, voice hard.
As much as he disliked hte idea, they were going to fight, and he would have ot give it everything he had to win Kun Yi free from this pride.

Akira paused in thought for a moment "hmm..i know, would you like to play hide and seek?" akira asked "in this game, well..you pretty much do as the name suggests. one of us would be the seeker the others hide. then the seeker counts to 30 and go's to find the others" he said nodding "wanna play that?"
((congrats -TS- Alex! Shaitani looks really cool! ^.^ *pets akira* i just wonder how he grew so fast..*looks at akira again* they were kittens at the same time but akira is stuck as a cub.. confused i hope he grows soon.. X3))

Xia, returning from the stream wandered off to go and try to find her King, she hoped he was allright and she wondered why she was thinking that way. Running around as she saw Kun yi run into the cave sobbing which made her eyebrow raise. 'What a drama queen' Xia thought as the now adult lioness watched the teen that the other pride members whispered about her being really mean and prone to be selfish.
Her tail flicked from side to side as she watched what looked like a grown Shaitani?! That couldn't be! The pink lioness felt hurt that he'd grown up the same time she did and she clenched her teeth in an effort to keep herself from growling, her sharp claws out and the grassy ground underneath the pink lion got tore up. Making a face to herself at them, she felt happy when Ling appeared.
Her heart stilled and she felt happy that he was still alive. She rolled her eyes at Kun yi's drama, "It's not bad here at all, look at all of the other lions that've joined. You need to stop thinking about your self, Kun yi." It was a fact and therefore the new queen said it to the teenager in a fact like tone.

Ling's eyes darted once toward the pink lioness. He flashed her a stare that told her that this was his fight to wage. She was a new queen, there was no point in dirtying her paws so soon.
The panda lion looked back at Shaitani. "Nor do I..." He growled low in his chest, it was obvious that the king was far less than thrilled. He waited for Xia to stand at his side before moving to sit at the enterance of the cave. He would remain awake for now, watching the pair, guarding them. They would not be leaving the cave tonight.
"I will take the first watch tonight, Leanna will take second and Nuri third. I will not have anyone leaving the cave tongiht, if that understood?" He made certain his voice hit the ear of every lion in the cave.

her father, Illius, had ruled the pride with a renound kindness, and respect for the members of his pride. Everyone had thier place, and out of deep respect and love for her father, everyone was more than happy to do thier job. Her mother, Atlanta, had been the newly elected den mother, and that is what brought the lioness into her father's covetted eyes.
The romantic tale had been one that her mother loved to tell her and her brothers and sisters, before the natives came, and destroyed thier beautiful serene life.
Meribelle distraced herself with those memories as she made friends with the other cubs. This was her home now, and even if there were some spats, Meribelle knew this place was the best for her.

At the mention of Ling's command, she nodded toward the King acknowleding it. Deep down inside, it pained her. Slowly getting up as not to disturb Blaze, she came over to the pair and looked at them fondly. Though they were distant to her as cubs, she still loved each of them dearly. Leanna would not bother talking to Ling, it would be futile. Sighing softly, she stepped back over to her corner with Blaze and curled up around the baby. Her head faced the front of the cave so they could wake her quietly without disturbing the cub. Leanna closed her eyes wanting to get a few moments rest before her turn to watch.
