Adenine neared the boy with the red coat as he was ordering around other people older then him, two of them feeling like alchemists as the nerves in her wings tingled, but the other two just military of the State probably. Running up, she quickly stopped, pausing for a moment to breathe as he spoke. Her sister had always told her she was a very sick little girl, one that could not get well easily, and that was part of why so many years ago her wings had been applied, like life-support for a failing body. She nodded quickly as the boy confirmed what she had just said, and she looked the way he did, squinting her aquamarine eyes slightly. Over many other buildings, there looked like white tops of buildings, maybe a walk of ten minutes away, not including the time it took to get through the crowd and around a few of the buildings in the way, her estimate as the falcon flies, getting a unique way of measuring distance from her sister. Nodding quickly as he pointed it out, because she actually was bubble-headed enough to have missed that originally, also out of the worry for her sister, her gaze came back to the boy.
Smiling as the boy in the red coat smiled, she was actually happy to have other people around, smiling to the four supposed "guard dogs" and bowing softly, her long, wavy white hair falling over her shoulders like cascading water, she herself looking abnormally frail in her loose white dress with white streamers around it, as well as the big, thick gray leather glove that came all the way up to her shoulder on her left arm.
"Thank you very much Sir! I really appreciate this!"
Her voice was as soft and light as it always was, a child's voice, the way she spoke suggested she was from the northern mountains with the slightly graceful, slurred accent. Listening to his name, she still smiled, having read about him under his State name in a few recent history books that were available in her small town. She really did not know much, but he supposedly had helped calm some rather dangerous situations and was renowned to be a good alchemist for any age. She had imagined him to be older, but being the trusting person she was, she never doubted what people said.
At getting asked her name, she looked a little surprised she had forgotten her manners in the rush of this, still having trouble adjusting to the big city as it was. Gesturing to herself, she smiled as brightly as the sun as normal, a people person at heart, not even thinking of the possible consequences of her words.
"Oh! I am sorry, I must have forgotten myself. I'm Adenine Marintill from the Frostforn region. I don't mean to be a burden, but I lost my escort Ty last night and I know she will be waiting at the State's headquarters for me, so I have to get back...even if they have delayed the exams for a few days..."
She was still disappointed about not being able to take the State Alchemist exams immediately, but she got over little things like that, all over her words coming out as they walked towards the white buildings further on. One person, a girl in the group, caught her attention though, getting a distinct hurt feeling from the person, a bit worried but not commenting on it, her pale face still with the soft smile characteristic to her, keeping pace with Edward to stay at his side.

A Suprized Look Came to Ed's Face As The Girl was Real Apprecitive,Most People would Just Sit there Mocking him for His shortness or for him being a child and didnt know any better."Oh Heh heh,Dont Mention It,Its nothing Really."Ed Said to The Girl."I finally got someone here I can talk to."As they Were all walking towards Headquarters They both Introduced Each other.
"Adenine Marintill huh,Such a lovely Name for Such a Cute Girl such as Yourself."Ed Complemented to Adenine, It took him a bit but Finally Dropping His jaw As He just Realized what He said to her and Shy'ed off just abit."So,Your Heading to Headquarters to Take the Exam huh"Ed then Puts his hands in his pockets Smiling up towards the Sky."I remember when I took the State Exam,You'll Pass,I have a feeling you will"Ed then smiled at Adenine."As long as you've studied real hard for the written part and as for the Physical,Just think of something that Will "WoW" the Examiners and You'll be a State Alchemist In no Time."Ed Trying to give Adenine some Usefull Advice before they finally reached the front Door."Well,We finally Arrived"Ed sounded just a bit Dissapointed Wanting to talk to Adenine a bit more,But if Anyone saw him now,they'd just bug him about Mustang waiting That Report of his...."Pleasure meeting you Adenine,See you around When You become a State Alchemist."Ed told Adenine confident that she would indeed Pass the State Exam As Both He and the Four other Alchemists Disbanded He saluted off both The female officer and Adenine,Then made His way down the hall towards Mustangs office and Knocked on the Door.

As Envy was Walking Behind the Two small Fries he was getting sick to his stomach as he had to listen to the Two of them Blabbering on and on about Silly pointless Garbage."....If only I was alone with Elric.....Then I'd show him no Mercy..."Envy Grubled to himself,Then he just remembered something that Lust had told him about Two days ago saying that he needed to go see Vanity about something."Damn,DAMn ,DAMN!!!,I almost Forgot we needed that little runt For our mission,Damn you Lust...If she Didnt need the Runt for our Mission....*sigh*awell...damn stupid stealth missions."As Envy Pouts about abit."Wonder what Vanity wants me for..I'm not a damn Babysitter!!!.....Damn this!!..."Envy thought as they finally made it to the front Door."Ok sir and Mam,We have made it to Headquarters Safely.Now I must Go report to the Fuhrer".Envy said Saluting and then Walking away grumbling abit not getting his hands on Ed.

As Hawkeye Was thinking of all the Possible people That Michiko could take In Her mission to Track Scar down,Roy slumped down seeing that Riza had very much took over and Sat back in his chair clicking his pen up and down.Looking at the dwindling Tack of Paperwork,He then Yawns out of Sheer boredom."Where the hell his Fullmetal,That shrimp is now 3 days late,I'm gonna get it If the Fuhrer ever finds out about this.."Roy thought as he looked at the Clock.It was currently 4:44pm.Then there was a Knock at the Door..

Adenine watched Edward for a moment, since he looked befuddled and confused for a moment, but then it appeared he regained himself out of thoughts and just told her that what he was doing was nothing. He must be a very nice person to think nothing of helping another, she thought to herself, getting strongly reminded of her elder sister. Smiling back to him however as he spoke again, she nodded in agreement, not minding having someone her age around, since she assumed they were about the same age.
"I am glad I can be of some service."
At the comment on her name however her cheeks turned a pale tone of pink, not being used to people complementing her or using flattery even near her, a strange feeling washing over her. Normally she was just ordered around, not that she minded, or spoken to softly, or congratulated on having a large amount of power, but never on her odd looks. Aquamarine eyes glanced over to him as he stared off in some random direction looking shocked, her eyes shooting off in the same direction, but she did not find what had caused that reaction in her escort, so once more she disregarded it.
Nodding once more as he confirmed what she had said, for she was taking the exams, and of course with Edward's history and fame, she had known from his name he was an alchemist, as well as his powerful feel, from the few moments before and at when he spoke his name. But, somehow having someone say she would pass helped her out, making the anxiety inside of her melt away a bit, her smile becoming even warmer as a result. The problem was, her sister and she had not known what to do for the exams, not even knowing how they worked, so when he mentioned written exams, she was not very happy, her eyes going to the ground in passive thought, her face still wearing a soft smile, but she was worried. It was not like her to worry, for while any information on the exams she could do, she would never be able to pass the physical exams with her wings, she would fail them for sure. Making careful note however that she had to have something that would amaze and captivate the people testing her, she started pondering on what she could do.
Walking up the great white marble steps with Edward, she bowed softly again to him, her thanks shinning through on her expression.
"Yes, I certainly would like to see you again Edward, it was nice meeting you!"
Watching the other's start walking away, and waving back to Edward as he saluted her, she heard the female officer saying she was going to the Fuhrer, so little Adenine quickly ran the tiny distance to catch up, still detecting what seemed like pain and upset from the bored looking woman, but she called out.
"Ma'mm? May I accompany you to the Fuhrer? I was supposed to check in with her this morning, so may we travel together?...I don't want to get lost in these big buildings..."
Her terrible sense of direction got her into so much trouble, but her sister was obviously not here, probably out hunting for some pet cat to eat, since the bird instincts had given her sister a rather keen taste for real animal flesh, just slaughtered preferably.

Gringing at the thought or Escorting the Little girl to the fuhrer,Envy griped both hands in annoyance.Stoping to recompose himself turned around to look at Adenine Smileing warmly at her and said to her as kindly as he could."Why Yes mam,Just follow me and we'll both head to the Fuhrer's office together."In Envy's mind he thought of this as just another thorn in his butt,Never the less He didnt want to upright be rude to the girl,Even though it discusted the hell out of him,Escorting yet again another useless Human to a destination he himself didnt give a damn about.
Walking down the hallway there was complete silence as both walked to the Fuhrer's office."Here we are my Dear".Envy told Adenine,Not even looking at her,for his Eyes were more focused on Ed banging on the Colonel's Door."I still dont understand why we need to Keep Elric alive...Vanity better have a good reason..."Envy thought,Then looking at Adenine."Like Fullmetal said before,I'm quite sure you'll pass the Exam.Just dont stress yourself out on all of the Questions on the Written part."Shocked at what he just Came out of his mouth to Adenine, He knocked on the Door louder."Mam, you In?".

Adenine was right behind the female officer now, the deep blue uniform so vibrant in the morning, once more a sharp contrast with the white that clothed her own tiny form. The other seemed to shiver slightly, like it was cold, but instantly Adenine was happy again, the warm smile lighting up her day, even if she did detect something strange behind it. This person could not be very happy, she had the feeling, because it seemed as if they were not there at all, but she guessed it was just her instincts being off again, like so many things about her were odd or out of place. Following behind the female officer without making a sound, only a few occasional metal sounds from the clasps on her gray leather sandals, she bowed once more as they got to the Fuhrer's office, recognizing where they were now. She hated being a burden, but she would wander the same building and never see the same place twice without another person with her.
"Thank you for your help, I can't thank you enough..."
Still with her bright, sunny smile and voice she said this, the tones light like a spring morning breeze.
As the officer woman tapped on the door however, one of Adenine's small hands simply reached up to the brass handle and let herself in, being a small town girl so some formalities like not opening doors until given permission to were unheard of, the words of the door being unlocked a little late. There were stacks of paper work everywhere, and to her it seemed overwhelmingly much. The puppy was still in the room however, gaining another warm smile coming from Adenine at this. Waving to the Fuhrer, she went off to the far side of the room to sit on the arm of an easy chair, out of the way, and now looking to a rather startled looking female officer at the door. She would let the lady go first, since she herself only had a few words she needed to speak, but it was better not to get between the other two, hence why she had so quickly gotten out of the line of the conversation, her sea green eyes falling down to the floor, now looking nearly like a child's doll sitting there. There was something odd in the air, but she was not really paying attention to it at the moment.

Adenine's eyes did not wander from the floor and from the arm of the chair that she sat on, looking small in comparison, but she could feel the Fuhrer's eyes on her for a few moments, the feeling of ever common confusion back. Sighing silently, she nearly jumped out of her skin as the barking started, noticeably jerking with the first moment of the noise. Why would the small puppy bark at the kind, but sick feeling woman at the door? Well, dogs were just dogs, sometimes smart, but many of them would bark at a wall at times, so she guessed it was nothing. Birds on the other hand, her eyes rising to the bright window, were different. That had not been her thought, that had been her sister's who was now perched on the ledge outside the window a bit up and off to the side. There was no hostility in her sister's feelings and expression, but she was a little miffed with Adenine for getting lost, conveying that through the alchemy that connected them together. The falcon outside on the ledge started preening, keeping those sharp eyes on the white colored girl within.
Her blue-green eyes went back to the Fuhrer however as she was spoken to, making a soft, vague gesture at the woman officer to go before she did, partially because the woman had been so kind, and of course embarrassed to be talking to people. The day before she had talked to a few State alchemists, and they said very few people were taking the exams that year, quite few in fact because of the sudden panic in the military over mass alchemist murders. The information had scared her, but she would take and pass the test by any means necessary, still pushing to get to the library and to be able to help her sister. She had also been told by her sister about a week before, that maybe after a while she could let one she knew human alchemy, few people surviving using it, so she could be of great service to the military, being able to obtain funding for research like elder people did. That had been her sister's plans before the accident at least, and now until she was able to fix what had been broken, it was up to her to try and fulfill the void created.
