Yamato left, hoping the child's silence was a show of him thinking, he didn't seem to fear him anymore. He walked to Ryanna's office, he wanted to know if the child's parents had arrived to pick him up. He knocked lightly on her door.

"Yes,Yes sure. Alright, We accept, I shall have a squad on the mission soon....here Kyle."
At the point in which Kyle shouted, the commander handed the phone off to him, in a dull manner as she turned to Forte with a light smile, vacant as usual.
"Do not worry, There is no punishment, I merely wish to tell you that I'm awarding you points for that mission even though it went awry. I'd like to see you go through another one though, before I completly rank you up. But you are halfway there now. Your new Squad is lead by Captain SunTzu, as you just saw. So it would be best if you go introduce yourself to her. She is most likley in her office."
At the sound of the knocking, she lifted her gaze once again to the oak doors. They had been opened quite a bit today.
"Feel free to enter."

Yamato walked in slowly. He was nervous, he had failed. It was his fault for the child's injuries. "Are...are the child's parents here yet?" He said, his voice shaking, then becoming more solid. He was still shaken from the ordeal, he felt a massive amount of guilt.

"Then they must have seen the state of their child when we came back through." Yamato said, following her eyes. "Can I just ask you a question?" Yamato said, he was a bit curious about something.

Kyle immediately hung the phone up. "A mission, my dad gave us... And I suspect he wants be to join some other squad during this mission? he wants me on this?" he asked Ryanna. His eyes were filled with fury. Kyle must have hated his father.

Ryanna's attention swayed tself back and forth between the two. Her brow raising itself slightly at the sigh of another angered person in her office.

"Ma'am, I mean no disrespect to anyone, but what would you have done in my situation, on my mission, I mean. I didn't want to hurt the captain, I didn't want to hurt anyone, but here it is, here is the truth. I need to know, you are the commander, you know best. What would you have done? Help me learn, please." Yamato asked, almost pleadingly.

Ryanna couldn't help but smile, wider at what he said. She closed her eyes, inhaling deeply in thought.
"To be as honest as I could be.....I would have assessed the situation, surroundings, et cetera. Find out what the boy's weakpoints were, such as where his blind spot would be, and use my height and extra arm stretch to my advantage. You had blades correct? Keep the blades seathed and use them and the added length after rolling around the Captain to strike him where he could not see you, Aim for the exposed neck in order to knock the boy out."

Forte nodded curtly before saluting once more and leaving the office. Once outside, she breathed a deep sigh of relief. Etoile mimicked.
"Captain Eva? Suntzu?" she called as she entered the new captain's office. "Forte reporting for duty." She glanced around and waited for a repsonse.

"Yes, but take the chance of crushing his wind pipe?" Yamato said, not meaning to offend. "I..I'm sorry, I need to go to his parents, tell them what happened." He went over to the door. "Thank you for your time." He opened the door and walked out, turning around to smile at her. He walked twards the infirmary, he wanted to take the child to his parents.
"I'm sorry. I never meant for all this to happen. Its just...its just that mommy and daddy fight all the time, I thought it was my fault, so I ran away." the child told Yamato.
Yamato offered his hand to take the child for a walk. "Listen, your parents aren't fighting because of you. Its not your fault." Yamato stopped and put his hands on the child's shoulder, the one minus the bullet hole. "You are a child, you have done nothing wrong, I just wish I could make this all go away, so we could all be happy." Yamato said, pointing at the patched up hole on his shoulder. "You are a special child, you will have a place here one day, I'm sure of it. Nobody will tell you different." Yamato said, now grabbing the child's hand. "Now lets go see your parents." Yamato led the child to the portal room, his parents gasped as they saw his shoulder.
"What did you do to him?! Look at his shoulder, you shot him! You are... ARRAGH!" His mother screamed, she tried claw Yamato's eyes out, but her body stopped, as if it wasn't under her control.
"Mommy, I made him do it, it was me. I made his friend try to stab him, he didn't want to hurt his friend so he shot me. His friend was mad at me, but I'm not, not anymore anyways." The child said, hugging Yamato.
Yamato was taken aback by the child's words. He hugged the child back lightly, he did not want to hurt him. "I'm sorry, to you all." He said as he walked out. The child said goodbye, he waved back. He walked down to Ryanna's office to tell her that the deed was done. He knocked lightly again.

Eva was hunched over at her desk, resting her chin on her folded arms and staring intently at a chess game which appeared to be in its final stages. Carefully, she reached out and pushed a white bishop three squares ahead before sitting up and recognizing Forte. "So you're Forte. I've heard so much about you. Actually, no I haven't. I've heard absolutley nothing about you. Let's fix that." She gestured towards an empty chair in front of her desk, and then reached across the board and advanced a pawn, blocking her previous move.
((btw, I find it hillarious that Gaia censored Ryanna when she cocked her head.))
