Also, I thought of something and I wonder what you'd think of it.
Say, you have a team that consits entirely of Champs with cross-map abilities.
Karthas (I think is his name), Pantheon, Shen, Gangplank, Twisted Fate (primarily)
Warwick~kinda-because-of-his-detection-but-not-so-much (and whoever else can either teleport or cause damage from one side of the map to another, either via teleporting or a form of ranged attack)
Then have everyone equip teleport + (spell)
Definitely be a good gank team, I think.

The issue with TF is that his ultimate, while global, is very predictable. Three reasons why:
1. An eyeball appears when he's able to cast Gate. Meaning the second that eyeball appears, he has 6 to cast Gate.
2. Gate has a teleporting animation. Red beam from the sky, rotating glowing red cards, loud-a** noise.
3. TF's Pick a Card has a very, very short range. Auto-attack range.
Meaning TF has to put himself in harm's way to get to you, and Shen is a direct counter to TF ganking since Shen can just ultimate onto whoever TF attempts to gank and counter-gank.
The best idea would be TF, Shen, Wards, and a Yi/Alistar/Anivia.
TF globals in, drops the ward, Shen ultimates onto TF, Yi/Alistar/Anivia teleport onto the ward, Shen/TF/Yi/Alistar melt the turret, Anivia Ice Walls past the turret to buy time and block off defenders from getting to the turret to begin with.
But, in non-premades, you'd instead get:
Shen: lol i aint ultin u u aint hurt (Auto-attacks Golem.)
Yi: BACKDOOR IS 4 NOSKILL FAGS [AN ALLY HAS BEEN SLAIN.]
Alistar: .... [Ghosts up to someone you're about to kill,] GNGNGGNGNG [Headbutts them to safety.] biggrin
Anivia: ... TANK ANIVIA (Smiles.)
A full global-ult team's plenty viable, but you need map awareness or it would fail pretty hard. Again, premade would be the key.

Well, I was thinking more in the aspect of being able to get a large amount of interference and damage on an enemy/enemies' area in a short amount of time, so that pretty much regardless of when an ally falls under attack or has an opening, everyone on the team can contribute or assist while not necessarily having to try to run all the way across the map.
Like with Pantheon's jump-in-and-stun/slow and Karthas and Gangplank hitting the enemies from across the map, while Shen jumps in to fight beside Panth.
And stuff like that. I was thinking more along the lines of wiping out opponents, instead of structures.
But yes, I absolutely agree that premade would be the key.
