He began to realize that the lava below him was becoming more and more liquid like. He quickly cooled himself down, which in turn the stone quickly cooled as well forming rock around his ankles. He heated himself up once more returning ti to it's lava-like state, pulling his foot free and slowly cooling himself to be able to stand on top of the rocky floor and not inside of it. He then thought if he could only heat up just a portion of his body. He heated just his foot and reached 10,000 degrees, creating molten rock once more, as he cooled, his foot became encased with the rock floor. Isshin's foot was stuck, and then returned the heat back, removing his foot from the stone through a melting and cooling process. The Barber greatly enjoyed this ability to produce vast amounts of heat throughout his whole entire body.

Isshin cooled his body to a somewhat normal temperature, and saw a large rock pillar ahead of him. He heated up his right arm from the elbow down, and made a fist. He ran at the pillar and clothes-lined it with his forearm bright red with a golden-yellow fist. His arm passed through the pillar turning the striking pointing into lava, but he didn't realize something. When he hit it, the pillar would most definitely topple, which in fact it did. The pillar came falling down upon Isshin who quickly heated his body to 10,000 degrees in which it melted on contact passing right through him. He had found his perfect defense, which he would use to gain an extreme advantage. He smiled and jumped from the molten rock, cooling himself down in the air, landing on flat ground. He turned and looked back at the toppled stone pillar. It had formed back together with a large splash like form expelling from the side.

He began to form a grin upon his face and he instantly became insanely obssessed with his fruit abilities. Hopefully soemtime soon he would like to see how he fares in close combat against fierce opponents. Isshin thought about various technique or battle moves he could use. Upon thinking of this, he thought of a superior defense with his ability. In close combat, and even ranged combat in some situations, he could just heat up a portion of his body to soften blows and melt away items. He smiled and decided to see what more he could do with this new found power. He heated one of his fists and punched the side of the cliff turning it into lava, once he emlted the rock he pulled some away and cooled his hand revealing a newly shaped rock. He began to heat it within his hand just up to melting point and threw it, seeming much lighter, as he flew a lot farther than normal. He soon found though, that he had enough with melting rocks.
