Those words should have alarmed her. Not too long ago, they would have. Now they just raised a note of excitement in her. She snuggled against him, looking forward to it.

"How are you feeling? Should we think about feeding you again? It is important to keep lots of fluids going into your body when you're giving blood. It keeps you strong. And I need you to be very strong." Zakiel nipped at her neck, "We have so much more to look forward to, after all."

She giggled. "I probably should... wouldn't want to go weak kneed at the wrong moment," she teased.

"What can I get for you?" He stretched lazily, not really willing to let go of her and move just yet.

"Mmm," she snuggled a bit closer. "There should be a river nearby. I suppose we could go there."

Zakiel nodded, "As my lady wishes." He stood up briskly and swept her up into his arms. "Are you up for me taking you the quicker way?"

She snuggled into his arms. "Sure."  

[sunchaser9000]

"As you wish." He quickly moved them to the river and sat her down. "Now...what does the river have that interests you?"  

[divena]

She grinned a bit. "Isn't that obvious?"  

[sunchaser9000]

He frowned, "Well apparently not...Fish? You certainly don't want fish do you?" Zakiel scratched his head. "You boggle my mind, minak ainann."

"That's part of the fun," she chuckled before lowering her head to take a drink from the river.

Zakiel grinned, "Well...if you insist on boggling my mind...I might just have to fight back." He was in the perfect position to push her into the river, and his grin took on a more mischievous curl.
