She frowned. "I don't know. I just was going up like usual... then suddenly... I couldn't feel my wings at all. It was... weird... And then I felt like I was falling and got dizzy..." Her eyes had slowly drifted down from his while she remembered what happened. Then she looked back up at him again. "I fell didn't I?" That was so weird. Her wings never vanished unless by her will, she couldn't control her power, or she had none.

"This is very strange that you are having problems. Do you want to go to the nurse's office and see whats wrong or do you want to keep trying?" Ace asked a little concerned.

She stood up. "I'll try again." So again she just did what was natural to her. Her wings came out and she rose up into the air. That's weird. She felt just find this time. What could have gone wrong last time? She took a deep breath and went higher. It felt good to be up in the sky like this. There. Just then. That disconnected, disorienting feeling. She opened her eyes to see what was wrong. Which was a bad idea. The ground was too far away, Rikoi froze up and shut her eyes tightly. Then she fell.

Ace's wings burst from his back and he exploded into the air catching Rikoi as he fell and holding her tight as he slowly descended to the ground. "Do you know what is wrong?"

She clumsily clutched at his cloths tightly. She shook her head, fighting off nausea. "N-no... I j-just... Couldn't fly... I couldn't do a-anything..." Her voice was trembling. With a bit of distant surprise, she realized she was frightened. Really really frightened. Nothing like this had happened before.

"We may want to go to the Nurse's so we can find out what is going on. Can you walk?" Ace asked with a deep concern for Rikoi now.

She thought about it for a moment. The nausea was dying down, though it was still there. "I... I think so..." She said, quietly. At least the trembling seemed to be over. She slid out of his arms and stood, holding on to Ace just in case. "I think I'll be okay..." Her legs seemed to be holding up just fine. That was a relief.
