Yuki was surprised when Bana suddenly ran off. "Hm? What's wrong?" She stopped walking, seeing Bana going back in the direction of Heathenrow. "Bana?" She looked back at Niko and Irene. "I'll be right back." She handed her mares reigns to Niko and went off after Bana.
Seeing Bana holding up the scythe obviously not meant for someone her size, she stopped beside her. "Bana, you alright?" She asked. "What's that you found?"
Niko walked Yuki go after Bana, a slight frown on his face. He wondered what was wrong, stroking the mares mane to keep her calm.

"This is mommy’s scythe..." Bana looked around confused. "But I don’t see mommy...the bracelet led me to it so I'm sure its hers...but mommy doesn’t usually leave her weapon..." Bana looked up at Yuki for some reason hoping she would have an answer.
Listu looked at Mariah her mind shifting through different possibilities. "I highly doubt with them still around you will be able to keep hold of the world. If they have allies those should probably be destroyed. People will usually become week when they think their all alone.” Listu said as debated what could do next. “Do they have any obvious weaknesses to exploit? What have you tried so far?”

Mariah sighed. "That lottle group is all Irene has now that i've killed the wizard. He was Irene's last hope before these others came into the picture..." Mariah snapped her fingers. "I've got it, I must find a way to pick them off ne by one. Starting with the weakest, that little girl. Making her my successor didn't work well last time, so I might have to think up some different approach. Possibly someone other than me the girl will follow. Or better yet, someone the girl will always listen to, even if it means leaving or betraying the others."
Irene looked to the worried Niko. She knew how he felt, and attempted to make him feel better. "Everything will be fine. I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle." She smiled over to him.

Listu sighed. "How does that little child do it, nomatter where she goes she always finds some kind of freind. I suppose its the age though." Listu sat down on the bed and rubbed her forhead. "You know I sent her off on her own in hopes that she would end up having something horrible happen to her so that she would stop trusting people, guess she failed that one." Listu looked at Mariah strait in the eyes showing no emotion at all. "So what do you want my daughter to do?"

Mariah looked shocked, yet pleased. "Your daughter you say?!" 'My luck is changing after all.' She thought. "Well, I need her to get me that necklace around Irene's neck. Thinking ahead hasn't helped me so far, so for now I'll just stick to that simple task."

Niko glanced at Irene, then smiled slightly and nodded. "If you say so," He said simply. He hesitated, then asked, "How long... Do you think I can hide from Bana what I am?" There was a serious tone in his voice. He didn't want her to know about Shadow, but it was only a matter of time before something happened to make him transform before Yuki could get Bana away... What would she think of him then? He hadn't really noticed before, but the childs trust in him had meant alot to him.
Yuki frowned slightly in confusion as well. Could Bana's mother have been involved in the fight with Shadow? This scythe hadn't been there before, she was sure... Now Bana looked at her for an answer that she didn't have. "She might have just dropped it, I'm sure she'll come back to get it soon," She said, trying to reassure the child.

Listu nodded. "Very well, as soon as the sun has set I'll set out to find them. Hopfully I can talk to Bana while the rest are asleep." Listu layed down on the bed resting for a bit. "Well then I'll take a nap while I wait." 'If nothing else I can get her to come to me.' Listu thought as closed her eyes.
Bana nodded and clutched the scythe. "Ya she probably just dropped it for awhile." Bana said hoping that Yuki was right. Bana looked up at Yuki and smiled as best she could even though she was worried about her mother. "I guess we should go back to Mister Niko and Miss Irene now."

Irene was worried about that too. They were doing well so far, but how much longer could they keep it secret? But she kept the best reassuring smile she could. "Don't worry Niko, things will work out. Bana dosen't know, and you know I'll do my best to keep her from finding out. But even if she does find out one day, she might be upset at first... But she'll realise that what you are dosen't matter as much as WHO you are. And who you are is what really matters."
Mariah smiled. "Perfect Listu, I might even pay you more than I planned to." Mariah didn't like being nice. She was a heartless bloodthirsty bandit full of rage. But in this case, she was working with an ally. "Rest, you need it. I have things to do." Mariah left the room.

((schools starting so I cant garenty I will be on as much as I was online during the summer. I should be able to get online as much as usuall but if I disapear for awhile dont worry I'll be coming back as soon as I can get time after homework and everything else school brings. Seeya ya'll around.))

((Aish, bad Hikaru! *wacks self on head* I've been busy with my part-time job, it's been all I can do to come online and reply to my roleplays on the forums... Completely forgot about the guilds... sweatdrop Yep, with school coming up things might get a tad hectic for me too... Graduation this year~! ^.^))
Niko brightened slightly at her words, a hesitant smile appearing on his face for a brief moment. "Thank you," He said quietly. He paused, then turned and gave her a gentle hug without letting go of the mares reigns. Then he took a step back again, looking around for Yuki and Bana.
Yuki smiled back at Bana, trying to be reassuring. "Yep, let's go back." She reached down and took the childs hand, leading her back through the forest. They came back to where Niko and Irene were waiting. Yuki took the reigns from Niko. "Let's go then." She lead the way along the path again, glancing up at the darkening sky.

Irene was shocked from the hug. She looked at him and blushed violently. He didn't seem to notice, and followed the others looking slightly to the right with a small grin and blushing cheeks. I was the greatest feeling in the world, this 'love.' Her powers were completely stable now with Niko around.

Bana let Yuki lead her along but kept hold of the scythe as they walked. Bana smiled at Niko and Irene when they rejoined them but was a bit nervous about the scythe hoping that Niko wont have any problems about it since he doesn’t seem to like those kinda things.
Listu opened her eyes and sat up ‘Guess its time to head out.’ Listu thought then headed out to track the group.

Niko had noticed the scythe, wondering where it had come from. He'd have to ask Yuki later. He bit his lower lip slightly, dealing with its presence better than he normally would of, because it was Bana and not an enemy holding it. He was still slightly worried, hoping that no one would accidentally be clipped by the blade and start bleeding.
Yuki looked back at them as they walked, noticing Irene's bright red cheeks. What had Niko done this time? She wondered with an inward smile. Oh well...
They reached a clearing just as the sun finally set over tthe horizon. Yuki sighed softly; it had been a long day. "Let's rest here for the night?" She asked, tying her mares reigns to a nearby tree so she wouldn't run off.

Irene nodded. "Alright. I can start us a fire and cook some food from my pack." Irene was excited to get some sleep, it was a loooooong day.

((Lol... A super long day. I changed my posting format slightly. It took me forever to find the right pictures... I was thinking of bringing in my other character Yannick at some point. He was in the other roleplay which became dead after the first few posts, so he really hasn't done anything since I created him... *sigh* And it would give Niko someone to argue with. Comedy relief ^.^ I've got pics for him and Shadow as well. I had to edit their eye colors manually... Gwah...))
 
Noticing how Niko instantly became suspicious at the work 'cook', Yuki clapped one hand over her mouth to hold back her laughter. "Niko, no fresh blood in those food, remember?" She finally managed to say once she was sure she wasn't going to double over in laughter. "Relax a little, okay?" She looked around, then smiled. "Bana, wanna help me find some firewood?" She asked. She prefered finding dead wood rather than cutting down live trees.
Niko gave a slightly sheepish grin at Yuki's words. He had completely forgotten. It was just long habit for him to stay away from 'cooking' anything as that usually involved something bloody. Which was, of course, no good at all.
