Who said it was immature? It's just not something you talk about, "absolutely natural" or not. :/
Edit: And who has been doing the join requests? Because I haven't seen one for days...

Quite right, that isn't something you just talk about. I was having a nice dessert, but... yeah.

So, as you may have noticed, I still have no internet in my room here at school.
So, I'm pretty much unable to do anything that I need to! It sucks a lot.
Especially since I just found out today that I have an assignment due for tommorrow! Luckily though, I didn't just find out tomorrow. If I had the internet though, I would have known this in advance!
Anyway, sorry I haven't been around much. I'm sure you all miss me terribly.
Or not!

Do we know you people?
Yeah. I just bombed a test. Which I find somewhat cruel, considering this teacher has taken the unconventional method of testing us before we cover the material in class. Apparently it's to entice us to read all the material before the actual lectures. Fortunately he's only going to give us five of these quizes (on our five respective books), and will discard the lowest mark of the five. Not to mention he didn't outline a time limit. He collected them after ten minutes, and I didn't even have half of the paper done.
It just blows having to use that option on the first quiz, not even a full week into classes.
I scoff in Shakespeare's general direction.

Ihabia Anyway, sorry I haven't been around much. I'm sure you all miss me terribly. I miss you! Getchyer Internet back, f00! As for unfair marking, I scraped a pass on an easy quiz because I made the tiniest mistake in the world, and it threw off a part of my answer. But seriously, I shouldn't have lost forty percent. My measurements were the same as the teacher's down to the last milimeter, it was just my angles that were... off.

I tried running a long ethernet cable through the door connecting my room with my neighbours, because they have the internet and we thought we might be able to steal theirs for a time until we got the stuff we need in our room! But, as you can probably imagine, that did not work. Don't know why.
So , here I am again, back at the computer lab on campus. Being pissed off that I have no internet in my room even though I'm clearly paying for it in my tuition and residence fees. And also I'm angry that my barely 1 year old laptop has already got a major battery problem. The battery is basically useless : I can't start the computer unless it's plugged in, even though the battery is charged at 90%. The computer won't stay on if the power cord is unplugged , even though the battery is at 90%. Also, the battery will not charge, and is slowly losing the charge it has. Today it dropped to 88%...wierd. So I'm going to have to go to futureshop and be thankful I paid for the extended warranty.

Goodness, I'm just really glad that I'm only in grade 10. Not too much homework yet, no tests, quizzes, or projects yet, and the teachers are relatively nice. I feel sorry for y'all. sad

Whoa, I thought professors were required to cover the material that you're tested on.

Right now I'm in a new province, new school and even newer diploma program. So basically my classmates and I are guinea pigs for the next two years. The school seems to like to group all the classes together. I don't know about you, but I don't think I can stand three hours of financial accounting and 5 hours of file construction.
